1. Produktbeschreibung
Die SKY Abutments dienen zur prothetischen Versorgung von SKY classic, blueSKY und narrowSKY Implantaten. Es werden
zwei Abutmentlinien angeboten:
• SKY Titanabutments in den Angulationen 0°, 15° und 25°.
• SKY esthetic Abutments in den Größen S, M und L in den Angulationen 0° und 15°.
Die angulierten Abutments werden auch als R-Abutments mit einem um 30° gedrehten Torx angeboten, sodass 12
prothetische Positionen möglich sind.
Die SKY esthetic Abutments sind im Gingivabereich dem Emergenzprofil natürlicher Zähne angepasst, so dass eine optimale
Anlagerung des Weichgewebes ermöglicht wird.
2. Indikation / Einsatzbereich
blueSKY, narrowSKY und SKY classic:
Die unter Punkt 1 genannten Abutmentserien können sowohl für Kronen- und Brückenkonstruktionen im zahnlosen und
teilbezahnten Kiefer, festsitzend und bedingt abnehmbar, sowie für herausnehmbare Konstruktionen und für teleskopierende Arbeiten verwendet werden.

Das Produkt wird unsteril angeliefert und muss in der Originalverpackung trocken und staubfrei gelagert werden.
6. Verarbeitung / Anwendung
ACHTUNG
Wir empfehlen grundsätzlich eine gründliche chirurgische und prothetische Planung sowie eine situations- und
versorgungsabhängige Auswahl der Prothetikteile.
Die im Labor verwendeten Halteschrauben dürfen nicht klinisch eingesetzt werden, da diese Belastungen im
Labor unterliegen, wodurch der langfristige und sichere Sitz nicht gewährleistet werden kann. Für die Arbeit
im Labor bietet bredent medical spezielle Laborschrauben (REF SKYLPS22, SKYFFLPK) an.
Zur Aufbereitung sind alle Teile mit einer weichen Bürste unter fließendem, kalten Wasser manuell zu reinigen.
Anschließend erfolgt die Desinfektion im Thermodesinfektor mit mildalkalischen Reinigungsmitteln mit einem
PH-Wert von ca. 10,3.
Die Sterilisation der Teile kann mit Hilfe der Dampfsterilisation über das Vakuumverfahren erreicht werden.
Hierbei muss ein 3-maliges fraktioniertes Vorvakuum erzeugt werden bei einer Sterilisationszeit von 4 Minuten
und einer Temperatur von 134 °C ± 1 °C.
Die SKY Abutments können mit den in der Zahntechnik üblichen Methoden individualisiert werden. Das Interface Implantat-Abutment und der Torx dürfen nicht individualisiert werden. Bei Reduzierung der Höhe bzw. Individualisierung des
Abutments darf der Schraubenkopf der Abutmentschraube nicht beschädigt werden. Es ist darauf zu achten, dass eine
ausreichende Wandstärke und Abutmenthöhe in Abhängigkeit zur Kronenlänge erhalten bleibt.
Zur Eingliederung der Abutments in den Mund ist ein Drehmoment von 25 Ncm vorgesehen.

Beim jährlichen Recall der Patienten ist der korrekte Sitz der prothetischen Versorgung bzw. des Halteelements zu
überprüfen. Die axiale Position der Kontaktpunkte muss ebenfalls kontrolliert werden da extraaxiale Belastungen zu
Schraubenlockerungen und damit zu Ermüdungsbrüchen führen, wodurch Fragmente aspiriert oder verschluckt werden
können. Werden die Abutments zur Reinigung entfernt, sind neue Halteschrauben zu verwenden, um Schraubenlockerungen und Schraubenbrüche zu vermeiden.
Alle Produkte, die mit dem Symbol
gekennzeichnet sind, sind ausschließlich für den einmaligen Gebrauch vorgesehen. Falls dieses Produkt dennoch mehrmals verwendet wird, können folgende Risiken entstehen: Kreuzkontamination,
Fehlfunktion, Passungenauigkeit etc.
Diese Gebrauchsanweisung entspricht dem aktuellen Stand der Technik und unseren eigenen Erfahrungen. Das Produkt darf

The manufacturer will not accept any liability for damage resulting from non-compliance with these
instructions for use.
1. Description of the product
The SKY abutments are used to fabricate prosthetic restorations with SKY classic, blueSKY and narrowSKY implants. Two
lines of abutments are available:
• SKY titanium abutments in angulations of 0°, 15° and 25°.
• SKY esthetic abutments in sizes S, M and L and angulations of 0° and 15°.
The angled abutments are also available as R-abutments with a torx turned by 30° to obtain 12 possible prosthetic positions.
In the gingival area, the SKY esthetic abutments are adapted to the emergence profile of natural teeth to enable perfect
apposition of the soft tissue (gingiva).
2. Indication / Application areas
blueSKY, narrowSKY and SKY classic:
The lines of abutments mentioned under item 1 are suitable for crown and bridge restorations in the edentulous and
partially edentulous jaw (fixed and partially removable) as well as for removable structures and telescopic restorations.

The narrowSKY implant platform may only be used with the SKY esthetic abutments S and the SKY titanium abutments
with narrow platform. To avoid mix-ups, all components with narrow platform are red-gold anodized.
3. Contraindication
The SKY implant system is not suitable for standard contraindications in implant dentistry such as patients with cardiovascular problems, bruxism, osteoporosis, heavy smokers, alcoholics, diabetes and metabolic diseases and insufficient
primary stability of the implants.
The product should not be used for patients with a suspected allergy until allergy tests have been completed to confirm
that the patient is not allergic to the materials contained in the product.
4. Safety and hazard information
The lot numbers of all components should be recorded to ensure traceability and to handle complaints.
5. Storage and durability
The product is supplied in the non-sterile condition and dry and dust-free storage in the original packaging must be ensured.
6. Processing / Use
Generally, we recommend thorough surgical planning and selection of the prosthetic components depending
on the situation and type of restoration.
The retention screws used in the laboratory are not suitable for the clinical use, since they are subject to stress
in the laboratory; as a result long-term and reliable fit can no longer be guaranteed. bredent medical offers
special laboratory screws (REF SKYLPS22, SKYFFLPK) for processing in the laboratory.
For treatment purposes (cleaning/disinfection), all parts must cleaned manually under cold, running water
using a brush. Then disinfection is carried out in a thermal disinfector using mildly alkaline cleaning agents
with a pH value of approx. 10.3.
Sterilization can be carried out using steam sterilization in the vacuum procedure. For this purpose 3-times fractionated pre-vacuum must be generated with a sterilization time of 4 minutes and a temperature of 134 °C ± 1 °C.
The SKY abutments can be individualized with methods commonly used in dental techniques.
The implant-abutment interface and the torx must not be individualized. If the height ot the abutment is reduced or if
the abutment is individualized, the head of the abutment screw must not be damaged. It must be ensured to maintain
sufficient wall thickness and abutment height depending on the crown length.
A torque of 25 Ncm is recommended for insertion of the abutments in situ.

Les piliers SKY servent à la restauration en prothèse des implants SKY classic, blueSKY et narrowSKY. Deux gammes de
piliers sont disponibles:
• Les piliers SKY en titane avec des angulations de 0°, 15° et 25°.
• Les piliers SKY esthetic dans les tailles M et L et avec angulations 0° et 15°.
Les piliers à angulation sont aussi disponibles en tant que piliers R avec un torx de 30° de sorte à permettre 12 positions
en prothèse.
Dans la zone gingivale, les piliers SKY esthetic sont adaptés au profil d’émergence des dents naturelles de sorte à permettre
une apposition optimale des tissus mous.
2. Indication/ Domaine d’application
blueSKY, narrowSKY et SKY classic:
Les deux gammes de piliers citées dans le § 1 peuvent être utilisées tout aussi bien pour des infrastructures de couronnes
ou de bridges dans des maxillaires édentés ou partiellement édentés, fixes ou conjointes ainsi que pour des infrastructures
amovibles ou des travaux à télescopes.
MISE EN GARDE
La plateforme implantaire narrowSKY doit uniquement être utilisée avec les piliers SKY esthetic S et les piliers en
titane SKY avec plateforme narrow. Pour éviter des confusions, outes les pièces constituantes avec plateforme narrow
sont anodisées en rouge.
3. Contre-indications
Le système d’implants SKY n’est pas adapté pour les patients dont les contre-indications sont habituelles en implantologie,
comme par ex. les troubles cardiaques comme de la circulation sanguine, le bruxisme ou l’ostéoporose, le tabagisme,
l’alcoolisme, le diabète, les maladies d’ordre métabolique et s’il y a manque de stabilité primaire des implants.
En cas de doute en matière d’incompatibilité, le produit ne doit être utilisé qu’après clarification et mise en évidence
qu’il n’y ait pas de risque d’allergie.
4. Dangers et consignes de sécurité
Les numéros de lot de toutes les pièces utilisées doivent être documentés pour assurer la traçabilité et pouvoir exercer
des droits de réclamation.
5. Consignes de stockage et date de péremption
Le produit est livré non stérile. Il doit être conservé dans l’emballage original à l’abri de la poussière.
6. Mise en œuvre / Utilisation
MISE EN GARDE
Nous recommandons par principe une planification chirurgicale méticuleuse et une sélection des pièces de
prothèse en fonction de la situation et de la restauration.
Les vis de maintien utilisées au laboratoire ne doivent pas être l’objet d’une mise en œuvre clinique car elles
sont soumises à des contraintes au laboratoire et de ce fait leur assise sûre et à long terme ne pourrait plus
être assurée. Pour le travail au laboratoire bredent medical propose des vis spéciales de laboratoire (REF
SKYLPS22, SKYFFLPK).
Pour leur préparation toutes les pièces sont à nettoyer à la main sous l’eau courante froide avec une brosse douce.
Ensuite on procède à la désinfection dans un thermo-désinfecteur avec des produits de nettoyage faiblement
alcalins présentant une valeur pH d’env. 10,3.
La stérilisation des pièces se fait à l’aide de la stérilisation à la vapeur par le procédé sous vide. A cet effet, il
faut générer un pré-vide fractionné trois fois avec un temps de stérilisation de 4 minutes et une température
de 134° C ± 1 °C.
Les piliers SKY se laissent personnaliser selon les méthodes courantes en prothèse dentaire. L’interface implant - pilier et
le torx ne doivent pas subir de personnalisation. En réduisant la hauteur du pilier ou en le personnalisant, il faut veiller à
ne pas endommager la vis du pilier. En fonction de la couronne, il faut veiller à conserver une épaisseur de paroi et une
hauteur de pilier suffisantes.
Un couple de 25 Ncm est à prévoir pour l’insertion des piliers en bouche.

3. Kontraindikation
Das SKY Implantatsystem ist nicht geeignet für Patienten mit den in der Implantologie üblichen Kontraindikationen, wie
z.B. Herz- und Kreislaufprobleme, Bruxismus, Osteoporose, starke Raucher, Alkoholiker, Diabetes und Stoffwechselerkrankungen, mangelnde Primärstabilität der Implantate.
Bei Verdachtsmomenten auf Unverträglichkeit darf dieses Produkt nur nach vorheriger allergologischer Abklärung und
Nachweis des Nichtbestehens einer Allergie verwendet werden.

ATTENTION
During the patient‘s annual recall appointment, proper fit of the prosthetic restoration or retention elements needs
to be checked. The axial position of the contacts must also be controlled since extra-axial loading may result in
loosening of screws and hence in fatigue fractures and fragments may be aspirated or swallowed. If the abutments are
removed for cleaning purposes, new retention screws must be used to avoid loosening of screws and screw fracture.
All products labeled
are intended for single use only. However, if this product is used several times, the following
risks may arise: cross contamination, malfunction, inaccurate fit, etc.
These instructions for use are based on state-of-the-art methods and equipment and our own experience. The product
may only be used for the indication described under item 2. The user himself is responsible for processing the product.
Liability for incorrect results shall be excluded since the manufacturer does not have any influence on processing. Any

Gli abutment SKY possono essere individualizzati con i consueti procedimenti utilizzati in odontotecnica. L’interfaccia
impianto-abutment ed il Torx non possono essere individualizzati. In caso di riduzione dell’altezza o di individualizzazione dell’abutment si deve fare attenzione a non danneggiare la testa della vite dell’abutment. È inoltre necessario fare
attenzione che l’abutment abbia un’altezza ed uno spessore della parete sufficienti, in base alla lunghezza e dimensioni
della corona ed al carico che l’abutment dovrà sopportare.
Gli abutment vengono inseriti nel cavo orale con un momento torcente di 25 Ncm.

MISE EN GARDE
Lors des examens de contrôle annuels veuillez contrôler l’assise correcte de la restauration prothétique et des éléments
de sustentation. Contrôler également la position axiale des points de contact, vu que des sollicitations extra-axiales
peuvent engendrer des desserrements de vis et ainsi à des fractures dues à la fatigue pouvant entrainer l’aspiration
ou l’ingestion de fragments. Quand les piliers sont retirés pour nettoyage, utiliser des vis de maintien neuves afin
d’éviter tous desserrements ou fractures de vis.
Tous les produits munis du symbole
sont exclusivement prévus pour une seule utilisation. Si le produit devait néanmoins
être réutilisé, les risques suivants sont à craindre: contamination croisée, malfaçon, imprécision dans l’adaptation etc.

1. Descrizione del prodotto
Gli Abutment SKY sono indicati per la realizzazione delle riabilitazioni protesiche con gli impianti SKY classic, blueSKY e
narrowSKY. Sono disponibili due diverse linee di abutment:
• Abutment in titanio SKY con tre diverse angolazioni: 0°, 15° e 25°.
• Abutment SKY esthetic nelle grandezze S, M (medium) e L (large) e con le angolazioni 0° e 15°.
Gli abutment angolati sono disponibili anche nella versione “R”, con Torx ruotato di 30°, che rende possibili 12 differenti
posizioni protesiche.
Gli abutment SKY esthetic vengono adattati, nella zona del solco gengivale, al profilo d’emergenza dei denti naturali,
affinché sia possibile un adattamento ottimale dei tessuti molli.
2. Indicazioni / Campi d’applicazione
blueSKY, narrowSKY e SKY classic:
Gli abutment citati al paragrafo 1. possono essere utilizzati sia per costruzioni di ponti e corone in arcata edentula o
parzialmente edentula, sia per protesi amovo-inamovibili, protesi rimovibili e per lavori su corone telescopiche.

La piattaforma implantare narrowSKY deve essere utilizzata solo con gli abutment SKY esthetic S e gli abutment in
titanio SKY con piattaforma narrow. Per evitare di confonderli, tutti i componenti con piattaforma narrow sono stati
realizzati in colore oro rosso anodizzato.
3. Controindicazioni
Il sistema implantare SKY non è indicato per pazienti che presentano le normali controindicazioni per l’inserimento implantare, come p. es. problemi di cuore e di circolazione, bruxismo, osteoporosi, forti fumatori, alcolisti, diabete e malattie
del ricambio, insufficiente stabilità primaria per gli impianti.
In caso di sospetto di intolleranze, questo prodotto deve essere utilizzato solo dopo previo accertamento allergologico
ed attestazione dell’assenza di allergie.
4. Avvertenze sui pericoli e per la sicurezza
I numeri di lotto di tutti i componenti devono essere documentati per garantire la rintracciabilità del prodotto ed in
caso di reclamo.
5. Avvertenze di conservazione e durata
Il prodotto viene fornito in confezione non sterile e deve essere conservato nella confezione originale ed in un luogo
asciutto e privo di polveri.

1. Descripción de producto
Los aditamentos SKY sirven para realizar trabajos protésicos sobre los implantes SKY classic, blueSKY y narrowSKY. Se
ofrece dos líneas de aditamentos:
• SKY Aditamentos de titanio angulados 0°, 15° y 25°.
• SKY Aditamentos estéticos en los tamaños S,M y L con las angulaciones 0° y 15°.
Los aditamentos angulados también se ofrecen como aditamento R con una base Torx girada 30º, permitiendo de este
modo 12 posiciones diferentes para la prótesis.
Los aditamentos estéticos SKY se han adaptado en la zona gingival al perfil de emergencia de dientes naturales, posibilitando así el asentamiento óptimo del tejido blando.
2. Indicaciones
blueSKY, narrowSKY y SKY classic:
Las series de aditamentos mencionadas en el punto 1 están indicadas para estructuras de coronas y puentes en el maxilar
edéntulo o parcialmente desdentado, como trabajo fijo o parcialmente removible, así como para trabajos telescópicos.
La plataforma para implantes narrowSKY sólo debe aplicarse con los aditamentos S de SKY esthetic y los aditamentos
de titanio SKY con plataforma estrecha. Para excluir la posibilidad de que se produzca una confusión, se ha anodizado
las piezas con plataforma estrecha de color dorado rojizo.
3. Contraindicaciones
El sistema de implantes SKY no es adecuado para pacientes con las contraindicaciones habituales en implantología como,
por ejemplo, los problemas cardíacos y vasculares, el bruxismo, la osteoporosis, la adicción al tabaco, el alcoholismo, la
diabetes y las enfermedades metabólicas así como una insuficiente estabilidad primaria de los implantes.
En caso de que se sospeche de la existencia de incompatibilidad con este producto, sólo se aplicará tras haber realizado
pruebas alergológicas y haber descartado cualquier tipo de alergia.
4. Indicaciones sobre riesgos y para la seguridad
Los números de lote de todos los productos utilizados deberán documentarse para garantizar su trazabilidad y el derecho
de reclamación.
5. Indicaciones para el almacenamiento y sobre la caducidad
El producto se suministra de forma no estéril y debe almacenarse en un lugar seco y libre de polvo en su embalaje original.
6. Procesamiento / Aplicación
ATENCIÓN
Recomendamos por norma una planificación exhaustiva desde la perspectiva quirúrgica y protésica así como
una elección de las piezas para la prótesis que se adapte a cada situación y solución prevista.
Los tornillos de sujeción usados en el laboratorio no deben colocarse en el ámbito clínico, pues al estar expuestos a cargas en el laboratorio no se puede garantizar una fijación segura a largo plazo. Para el trabajo
en el laboratorio, bredent medical dispone de tornillos especiales de laboratorio (REF SKYLPS22, SKYFFLPK).
Para su preparación se limpiará todas las piezas a mano con un cepillo suave bajo el chorro de agua corriente
fría. A continuación, se realizará una desinfección en el equipo termodesinfectante usando un detergente de
alcalinidad baja, cuyo pH tenga un valor aproximado de 10,3.
La esterilización de las piezas puede llevarse a cabo mediante una esterilización con vapor aplicando la técnica
de vacío. Para ello es necesario crear un vacío previo fraccionado en 3 ocasiones con un tiempo de duración de
la esterilización de 4 minutos y una temperatura de 134 °C ± 1 °C.
Los aditamentos SKY permiten su individualización aplicando los métodos técnicodentales habituales. No está permitida la
individualización de la conexión implante-aditamento ni del Torx. En caso de reducir la altura o individualizar el aditamento
no se deberá dañar la cabeza del tornillo del aditamento. También se deberá procurar el mantenimiento de un grosor y
una altura suficientes en relación con la longitud de la corona.
Para la inserción del aditamento dentro de la boca se aplicará un par de apriete de 25 Ncm.

Le viti di fissaggio utilizzate in laboratorio non possono essere impiegate in ambito clinico, poiché queste in
laboratorio sono sottoposte a carichi, e quindi non è più possibile garantire una sede sicura e di lunga durata.
Per la lavorazione in laboratorio sono disponibili le speciali viti da laboratorio bredent medical. (REF SKYLPS22,
SKYFFLPK).
Per la preparazione di tutti i componenti, prima del loro utilizzo, è necessario smontarli in singoli pezzi e pulirli
manualmente con uno spazzolino morbido, sotto l’acqua corrente fredda. Successivamente si procede alla
disinfezione in un termodisinfettore con detergenti alcalini delicati con un valore PH di ca. 10,3.
La sterilizzazione dei componenti e degli strumenti può essere eseguita con la sterilizzazione a vapore sottovuoto.
In questo caso è necessario eseguire un pre-sottovuoto frazionato in 3 volte con un tempo di sterilizzazione di
4 minuti e ad una temperatura di 134 °C ± 1 °C.

In fase di recall del paziente è necessario verificare che la protesi e gli elementi di tenuta abbiano una sede corretta e
stabile. È opportuno ricontrollare i punti di contatto, poichè i carichi fuori asse possono provocare allentamenti delle
viti e quindi possono verificarsi fratture da sovraccarico, i cui frammenti possono essere aspirati od ingeriti. Se gli
abutment devono essere rimossi per un intervento di igiene professionale, è necessario sostituire le viti, per evitare
possibili allentamenti o fratture.

9. Otras indicaciones
Este producto sólo puede ser utilizado por odontólogos, técnicos dentales y personal cualificado con formación específica.
Para su procesamiento sólo se utilizará herramientas y piezas originales.
Los números de lote de todas las piezas utilizadas deberán registrarse para garantizar su trazabilidad y los derechos de
reclamación.
ATENCIÓN
Durante la revisión anual del paciente se deberá comprobar el asentamiento correcto de la solución
protésica y del elemento de sujeción. Asimismo deberá controlarse la posición axial de los puntos de contacto, ya
que las cargas extraaxiales propician que se suelten los tornillos y se produzcan fracturas por fatiga, lo que puede
conducir a la aspiración o deglución involuntaria de fragmentos. Si se retira los aditamentos para su limpieza, se
utilizará nuevos tornillos de sujeción para evitar que se suelten o rompan los tornillos.
Todos los productos marcados con el símbolo
son exclusivamente de un solo uso. Si aun así se reutiliza este producto,
pueden presentarse los siguientes riesgos: contaminación cruzada, funcionamiento incorrecto, imprecisión en el ajuste, etc.
