God hears the cry of the poor....may we do all we can to serve those in need in His holy name. With the weather starting to turn
cooler we can use more hearty soups, hot cereals, and canned stews along with your regular donations of pasta, sauce, peanut
butter and jelly, canned vegetables and fruits. You can bring your donations with you to mass during the week or on the
weekends and leave them in the box outside of the Food Closet door. There also is a slot in the door for financial donations as
well. Thank you for all that you have done, and will do, to ease the cry of the poor. Our hotline number is
733-2010. Thank you!
School News
2016 Fall Harvest Festival Our Fall Harvest Festival will be held this Sunday,
October 16th from 10 am to 4pm. There will be food, carnival games, music, beer
garden, baked goods, a scarecrow contest, and a raffle with Disneyland tickets and
other prizes. New this year, a petting zoo with friendly farm animals. Also, we will
have our 2nd annual Chili Cook-off!
School Picture Day: School pictures will be taken on Wednesday, October 19. Students should wear full uniforms with
collared shirts.

Community Service Opportunities. Loaves & Fishes - Sunday, October 23rd 7am-1:30 pm. Youth must be 14 years or older

Youth Day- Los Angeles Religious Education Congress. The theme – “What Are You Waiting
For?” Join us Thursday, February 23, 2017 and participate in a Rally, Liturgy, Workshops focused
