1. Take Fold-A-Vent from box.
1. Tome una Fold-A-Vent de la caja.

3. Cut a 10” x 10” hole in the roof positioned as to where the Fold-A-Vent
will be installed. Vent hole in roof should be as close to the top as
possible to allow hot air in the attic space to vent out.
Note: Use proper soffit vents to allow equal air flow from soffit through
Fold-A-Vents.
3. Corte un orificio de 10” x 10” en el techado en el sitio donde planea
colocar la ventila Fold-A-Vent. El orificio de ventilación debe estar lo

4. Install Fold-A-Vent similar to other roof vents. Nail into place,
center over hole cut in the roof. Install shingle, properly flashing around
vent as being nailed on the roof deck.
Note: Do not put shingle in between the Fold-A-Vent.
Fold-A-Vent must be in closed position.
4. Instale Fold-A-Vent similarmente a otras ventilas de techo. Asegure
con clavos, centrándola correctamente en el orificio del techo.
Instale el tejado asfáltico, Selle Apropiadamente la ventila cuando
esta siendo clavada al tejado.
Nota: No coloque tejado entre medio de la ventila Fold-A-Vent.
La ventila Fold-A-Vent estar en posición cerrada.
5. Complete shingle installation, properly flashing around Fold-A-Vent
