Altar Servers Dinner: November 19
We are hosting all of our altar servers and their families to a dinner of hot
dogs, hamburgers, beans, chips and dessert in the school cafetorium on
Tuesday, November 19 following the special Altar Servers Mass. This
dinner is our way of saying “Thank You” for all that the Altar Servers
have done for our parish community.
Congratulations to all the students who celebrated First Recon‐
ciliation. Thank you to all the parents and catechists, Fr. Cliff and Fr. Lauro for helping them prepare for this celebration. If your child did not have an opportunity to participate in last weeks’ First Reconciliation services please contact the Faith Formation office. Computer Refurbishing
Used CPUs (especially Pentium 4 or equivalent and newer), monitors,
printers, scanners, fax machines, pointing devices (mice) as well as CDs
and DVDs are being accepted for donation to the Computers for the
Blind organization. Please call Gil Brand at 214-282-2581 for information.

Donations Needed
Elementary Faith Formation and St. Mark School are collecting items for the St. Michael Society, a group that puts together care packages and prays for deployed troops. Items Needed: Beef Jerky, cans of nuts, dried fruit, crunchy granola bars, individual drink mixes (powder), gum, hard candy, puzzle books, and cards. We are excited to announce our Kick‐Off meeting for all those who are considering joining our We Care program! We have many volunteers who have gra‐
ciously stepped up to be Care Managers and are looking forward to meeting you. Please come to our meeting TODAY at 2:30PM in McGivney Hall in the Parish Center. Our guest speaker, Mr. Jim Boyle, will outline the preparation of a Living Will and an‐
swer legal questions regarding regular wills, medical forms and other related legal concerns. Jim is a St. Mark Parishioner and has been practicing law for over 30 years. The Focolare Movement is a vast ecclesial movement in the Catholic Church whose spirituality of unity is based on Jesus’ priestly prayer, “May they all be one” (Jn 17:21). Members of the Focolare Movement will be at our parish at masses this weekend to introduce you to the Movement which tries to live the gospel from the point of unity in the families and in society. They will be offering copies of Living City Magazine for a donation of $4. Pray the Rosary after the 6:30am & 8:30am Masses

Potluck Dinner
All parishioners 50 and over are invited to our Potluck Dinner on Saturday, November 23 at 6:30PM following the 5:30PM Mass in the Community Center #101. Drop off your dish to share in the Community Room #101 between 5‐5:30PM before Mass if you like. We have invited the St. Elizabeth seniors to join us. All are welcome Call if you have any questions. 



The donor is at least age 70 1/2 at the time the gift is made. The charitable gift is made directly from an IRA to the charity. An individual can give a maximum of $100,000 in 2013. A spouse can give an equal amount from his/her IRA. Individuals can make as many gifts in any amount to as many charities as desired as long as the total does not exceed $100,000 for 2013. The gift qualifies as all or a portion of the Required Minimum Distribution. Come pray with us for the Church, Government and the
salvation of souls. 


