Las tradiciones familiares son muy importantes. Quisiéramos desearles un año nuevo lleno de alegría. Un año en que ustedes puedan empezar cada mañana alabando a Dios y toda su crea‐

need of replacement, please talk with the store manager, thank him for

twitter.com/StMEvangeLion Happy New Year! facebook.com/stmarkplanoyouthministry On January 18, 2014, Dallas will mark the 41st anniversary of Roe v. Wade, legalizing abortion in America and leading to the death of over 55 million unborn children. Join Bishop Kevin Farrell and thousands of people of faith to pray for an end to the scourge of abortion on our city and country, to witness publicly, and rally and march for a Culture of Life. Due to the ever‐increasing size of this event, Bishop Farrell has moved the Roe Memorial Mass to the convention center in Dallas (seating 9,000!) beginning at 1PM (note new time) with homilist Father Alfonse Nazzaro. Due to limited parking, it is advised that participants use the DART or other public transportation. And for the first time, a Youth Rally featuring World Youth Day Musician Steve Angrisano will precede the Mass (12:30PM, doors open at 11:30AM). ST. MARK
THE
EVANGELIST CATHOLIC COMMUNITY
New Year’s Prayer
God, thank you for a new year. May everyone in our family
be willing to begin anew with a clean slate. We know that you
are always ready to forgive us. Help us to be willing to forgive
ourselves and to forgive one another.
As we begin a new year, remind us of our truest values and
our deepest desires. Help us to live in the goodness that
comes from doing what you want us to do. Help us to put
aside anxiety about the future and the past, so that we might
live in peace with you now, one day at a time.
