Principal for a Day Winners!

of academic progress) test and won "principal for the day" as a result.

Additional Spirit Shirts in assorted sizes have come in! $18 per shirt,
please see the front office to purchase. Students may wear these shirts
with jeans on Fridays.
Attention HSI Parents: HSI Administration is making an effort to update student
records to the required standards. In order to serve you and your student better,
your student's file needs to be complete and up to date. If you have received a
note, school reach phone call, and/or red ticket from our Registrar regarding
documentation needed for their file, please provide this as soon as possible.
Lunch Information: There is a change regarding the lunch application process
on the school website. When the first application is submitted, the Lunch
Application link goes from the "Notification" page and shows up on the "Lunch"
page. If you would like to fill out another application after the first one, please
find the link on the "Lunch" page. Please also use the website to put money in
your child's school lunch account.
More Lunch News
Parents can add funds to student lunch accounts by visiting www.hsiaustin.org.
Your username will be your student’s name and your password will be your
student’s date of birth. If you have any further questions, call Mrs. Perez at 512300-0895. Thank you.
Pasta for Pennies Fundraiser (October 3 - 31)
Our school is joining the fight against blood cancers and helping LLS fund

● Monday, October 24th: “Sock it to drugs” - wear crazy socks
● Tuesday, October 25th: “Too bright for drugs” - wear bright, neon
colored shirt/t-shirt/accessories
● Wednesday, October 26th: “Put a cap on drugs” - wear a hat
● Thursday, October 27th: “Team up against drugs” - wear your favorite
sport/team jersey

favorite book character and bring along your book. (NO MASKS,
WEAPONS, OR CLOWN COSTUMES)
