The Fulmore Magnet Program is a free
advanced academic program within the
Austin Independent School District.
Our program, consisting of three hundred plus magnet students from all
around the Austin area, is part of the
128 year old Fulmore tradition. Authorized by AISD’s school board in 2001, Fulmore’s Humanities and Law Magnet for
International Studies is one of Austin’s
best kept secrets. The magnet enrollment includes a diverse group of students. Fulmore’s staff is trained to individualize instruction and curriculum to
accommodate every child’s interests and
academic goals. Project based learning
and access to technology allows students
to work collaboratively and to reflect
critically on real world issues.
Fulmore’s Magnet Program offers a variety of elective choices that correspond
with the specialties of the program and
allow students to receive individualized
attention in their areas of interest.
The three distinctive strands in law,
humanities and international studies
form the basis of the electives that enrich
the Magnet experience. Concepts in English Language Arts and Social Studies are
intertwined to support students in making deep connections about the world
around them.
We also offer challenging classes including Environmental Science, Fo-rensic
Science, and high school credit for Algebra I, II, Geometry and several foreign
languages including Japanese, Chinese,
French and Spanish.

El Programa Magnet de Fulmore es un
programa académico avanzado libre dentro del Distrito Escolar Independiente de
Austin.
Nuestro programa, constituido por trescientos estudiantes de con más todo alrededor del área de Austin, es parte de la

incluyendo Japonés, Chino, Francés y Español.
