STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT
Today we hear one of the most beloved stories in the Gospel of Luke,
Jesus’ parable of the Prodigal Son.
Reconcilia on is a prominent theme.
Seeing the younger son returning to
him, the son who le the family and
squandered his inheritance, the compassionate father
runs to embrace him. Jesus offers us a vision of a loving
God who is merciful and forgiving, welcoming us back
when we remorsefully return to him. When was a me
that I le God’s presence through my own sinfulness?
Did I humbly and sorrowfully repent of my ac ons? How
am I using this me of Lent to humbly atone for my sins?
Will I eagerly celebrate the sacrament of reconcilia on in
the next few weeks to experience God’s loving embrace
and forgiveness?
ANNUAL LENTEN APPEAL

in Africa and the Church in La n America. Please be prepared to respond generously to this worthwhile collecon.

compasivo padre corre a abrazarle.
llegar a conocerse mejor.
Únanse a
bienvenidos!

means to be a Franciscan Parish and the Pastoral Council will take on integra ng Franciscan
spirituality into all that we do as a Parish. There
was an abundance of heart-felt comments especially about being a Mul -Cultural Parish; those
comments leading to the crea on of the new
