USED OIL RECYCLING RECYCLING LEAF and LIMB COLLECTION Used Motor Oil and Oil Filter Recycling: Residential Curbside, Apartment and Business Recycling (No Grass Clippings or Tree Trunks) Reciclaje Residencial, Apartamentos y de Negocios Loose leaves and limbs (less than 4 feet long or 6 inches in diameter) are collected every other week. (NO GRASS CLIPPINGS, weeds, bark or dirt in the street as this will clog storm drains). Do not place used oil and filters in blue recycling toters, recycling bins, wastewheelers, or garbage bins. Pour used motor oil in plastic screw-top containers. Place drained filters in a plastic see-through bag. Set two feet from toters, if served by the curbside program. (See collection schedule inside). Residents living in apartments may drop off used oil at collection centers in Ceres. Certified Collection Centers will reimburse you 10 cents a quart or 40 cents a gallon, or will provide discount coupons, upon request.
