RECYCLING
LEAF and LIMB COLLECTION
Used Motor Oil and Oil Filter Recycling:
Residential Curbside, Apartment and
Business Recycling
(No Grass Clippings or Tree Trunks)
Reciclaje Residencial, Apartamentos y de Negocios
Loose leaves and limbs (less than 4 feet long or 6 inches
in diameter) are collected every other week. (NO GRASS
CLIPPINGS, weeds, bark or dirt in the street as this will clog
storm drains).
Do not place used oil and filters in blue recycling toters,
recycling bins, wastewheelers, or garbage bins.
Pour used motor oil in plastic screw-top containers. Place
drained filters in a plastic see-through bag. Set two feet from
toters, if served by the curbside program. (See collection
schedule inside).
Residents living in apartments may drop off used oil at
collection centers in Ceres. Certified Collection Centers
will reimburse you 10 cents a quart or 40 cents a gallon, or
will provide discount coupons, upon request. Some centers
accept used oil filters.**
