CSEA/SEIU invites you to a Children’s Mental Health Forum
The State of Connecticut Children’s Behavioral Health Plan wants to hear from you! As a Family Child Care Provider,
you have a unique perspective on the mental health of young children. Your experience as a front-line caregiver can
inform important decisions being made by the state to support the behavioral health of families and children. Come and
share your thoughts in a comfortable setting with other child care providers.
The two-hour discussion will be led by a skilled facilitator from the child care union who will ask you about:
• Early childhood mental health, including infants and toddlers
• Dealing with a family crisis
• The safety net for children in trouble
• The role of schools, law enforcement, and faith-based communities
• The coordination of mental health care in Connecticut

¡El Plan de Conducta y Salud de Niños del estado de Connecticut quiere escuchar su opinión! Como proveedor de
cuidado infantil familiar, usted tiene una perspectiva única sobre la salud mental de los niños pequeños. Su experiencia
como proveedor puede informar decisiones importantes realizadas por el estado para apoyar la salud y el comportamiento
de los niños. Venga a compartir sus pensamientos en un ambiente cómodo con otros proveedores de cuidado infantil.
La conversación de dos horas será conducida por un facilitador de la Unión, quien preguntará acerca de:
• La salud mental de la niñez temprana, incluyendo bebés y menores de tres
• Cómo manejar una crisis familiar
• La red de seguridad para niños en problemas
• El papel que tienen las escuelas, la policía y las comunidades religiosas
• La coordinación de atención de salud mental en Connecticut
