ACTIVITIES TO PRACTICE WITH THE
CHILDREN
COUNTING:
1. Allow your child to count objects around the house,
coins, spoons, chairs, shoes, anything visible).
2. Take your child on a nature walk in community, sit or
walk and count the trees, buildings, and anything else
that you see.
3. While riding in the car have your child count the
different color buildings, cars, trucks, etc.

4. While in the grocery store, have them count the
different types of fruits or vegetables they see in the
produce e isle.

CONTANDO:
1. Permita que su hijo cuente objetos alrededor
de la casa, las monedas, cucharas, sillas, zapatos,
todo lo que este visible.
2. Cuando estén afuera, sientense o caminen y
cuenten los árboles, edificios y todo que ven.
3. Cuando estén viajando en el carro deje que su
hijo cuente los edificios de diferente colores,
coches, camiones, etc..
4. En el supermercado deje que su niño/a cuente
cuántos tipos diferentes de frutas o vegetales que
se encuentran en la isla.

1. Go around each room in the house and have your child
identify the different colors of different objects.
2. While riding in the car have your child identify the colors
of cars, houses trees, flowers, etc.
3. When getting your child ready for school select their
clothes and have them tell you what color they are.

3. Take a trip to the zoo or an animal shelter and
have the child identify the different animals.
Objetos:
1. Señale a cualquier objeto en la casa y pídale a su
niño/a que le diga lo que es, ejemplo: mesa, silla,
retrato, etc..
2. Cuando en el supermercado, vaya a una isla de
de cereal o artículos que us niño/a conoce y
pídale a su niño/a que identifique las cosas que
están ahí.
3. Vaya en un viaje al zoológico o un refugio para
animales y deje que su hijo/a identifique
diferentes animales.
