make ourselves ready for the Master’s return, for we do not know
when it will happen. Let us pray today, as God’ss people,
to have the faith of Abraham, so that whenever the appointed hour
comes we will be prepared and eager to greet ourLord.

Mis hermanos y hermanas, hoy nos
reunimos en presencia de Dios para
que una vez más se nos recuerde de
quién somos y a quién pertenecemos.
Jesús nuestro Señor nos urge en el
Evangelio a estar preparados para el
regreso del Maestro, pues no sabemos
cuándo eso pasará. Oremos hoy, como
pueblo de Dios, para tener la fe de
Abraham y estar listos y
entusiasmados para recibir a nuestro
Señor cuando llegue esa hora.
FROM OUR PASTOR—ABCD 2016
Our goal for the ABCD 2016 is: $69,145.00 in pledges.
Up to now, we have collected in pledges $67,206. We still
need to collect $1,939. Remember if we don ’t make the
goal at the end of the year, St Bernard will be responsible
for the difference. We can make the goal. Thank you for
your support to our parish and to the Archbishop’s call for
the ABCD every year. May the Lord bless you always!

BACK TO SCHOOL DRIVE

St Vincent de Paul is hosting its anual back to
school drive for Kindergarten thru 5th Grade.
Needed: backpacks, pencils, glue sticks, note
paper, composition books, crayons, color
pencils, pens & safety scissors. Please bring these to
our Parish Office. Thank you!!
