Programa académico del curso 2013-2014
2. PROGRAMAS DE LENGUA Y CULTURA ESPAÑOLAS PARA EXTRANJEROS
Dirigidos a estudiantes con conocimientos medios de español. Al inicio
de cada programa se realiza una prueba de nivel idiomático.
Combinan la enseñanza del idioma, objetivo principal, con una panorámica amplia y profunda sobre la cultura y la sociedad españolas. A tal fin
se ofertan tanto asignaturas de Lengua Española y Traducción como de
Historia, Arte, Literatura, Cine, Español de los negocios, Sociedad y cultura españolas.
Dos cursos:
Curso Trimestral (octubre-diciembre):
Asignaturas de Lengua Española 6,5 créditos (45 horas presenciales y 20 horas de trabajo autónomo)
Otras asignaturas 5 créditos (35 horas presenciales y 15
horas de trabajo autónomo)
Curso Semestral (enero-mayo):
Todas las asignaturas tienen 7,5 créditos (50 horas presenciales y 25 horas de trabajo autónomo)
La inscripción en los cursos permite realizar hasta un máximo de 5 asignaturas (Curso completo) elegidas por el estudiante entre todas las que
se ofertan. Una de ellas ha de ser de LENGUA ESPAÑOLA.
Las asignaturas de Lengua Española se imparten en 4 niveles: Intermedio I (A2), Intermedio II (B1), Avanzado I (B2) y Avanzado II (C1) Cada uno
de ellos se desdoblará, si es necesario atendiendo al número de estudiantes por grupo.
Las asignaturas de cultura se imparten en dos niveles (Intermedio y Avanzado).
Cualquiera de las asignaturas ofrecidas podrá suprimirse si no es elegida
al menos por cinco alumnos.
Algunas de las asignaturas ofertadas, aunque mantengan el mismo nombre (como Lengua española: expresión e interacción escritas, Lengua
española: vocabulario, Traducción, Arte...) cambian el temario y las actividades de uno a otro curso.
El primer día del curso se entrega a los alumnos el programa detallado
con el calendario de clases y actividades complementarias, horarios,
aulas, asignaturas, sistema de exámenes y trabajos, y todos cuantos
detalles requiere el buen funcionamiento del curso.

2. SPANISH LANGUAGE AND CULTURE PROGRAMMES
These programmes are aimed at learners of Spanish as a foreign language who have an intermediate knowledge of the language. A placement test will be conducted at the beginning of each programme.
These programmes combine the learning of the language, which is their
main objective, with a comprehensive overview of Spanish culture and
society. They, therefore, include subjects such as Spanish Language,
Translation, History, Art, Literature, Business Spanish and Spanish Society and Culture.
There are two different courses:
Three-Month Course (from October to December):
Spanish Language subjects 6,5 credits (45 class hours and 20
self-study work hours)
Other subjects 5 credits (35 class h. and 15 self-study work h.)
Five-Month Course (from January to May):
All subjects 7,5 credits (50 class h. and 25 self-study work h.)
Enrolment in one of these programmes allows students to take part in up
to five different subjects. One of them must be Spanish Language.
All Spanish Language courses are taught at four different levels: Intermediate I (A2), Intermediate II (B1), Advanced I (B2) and Advanced II (C1).
Depending on the number of students enrolled, each of these levels will
be split as needed.
The Spanish culture subjects are taught at two different levels: Intermediate and Advanced.
For courses to be held, a minimum of five students will be required.
The Three-Month Course includes four hours of Spanish and three hours
of all the other subjects per week.
In spite of sharing course names (e.g. Spanish Language: interacting
through writing, Spanish Language: vocabulary, Translation, Art !" the
course contents and activities are different, even for courses taught at
the same level of competence.
During the introductory session each student will receive a programme
with precise details on the programme calendar, timetable, classrooms,
courses, assessment system, homework, extra-curricular activities and
any other necessary information for the smooth running of the courses.
