The Catholic Bible: The Catholic Bible is made up of 73 books; 46 of these books ar e found in the Old Testament and 27 are found in the New Testament. Whenever we are reading any text in the Bible it is of primary importance to know which book, which chapter and which verse or verses we are reading from. If we read the bible
every day we shall become used to the books, the chapters and the verses of the Bible. The word of God is alive
and active (Heb 4:12). If we read the Bible every day we shall soon discover that the Bible can provide adequate
answers to most of our problems. Read a portion of the Bible every day! We have started the charismatic group for
the English-speaking community in our parish, come and join us and discover your spiritual gifts. We meet every
Thursday in the hall at 7:00 p.m. We have mass for the sick and the needy in our parish on the first Friday of every
month. May the Holy Spirit inspire us and help us to humble ourselves like little children and attend the upcoming
mass for the sick and the needy on Friday, October 02, 2015 at St. Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church, 4025
Grapevine Street Houston, Texas 77045. Rosary: 6:30 P.M. (English and Spanish) Mass: 07:00 P.M., followed

Testamento y 27 se encuentran en el Nuevo Testamento. Cuando estamos leyendo cualquier texto en la Biblia es de
vital importancia saber qué libro, qué capítulo y qué versículo o versículos estamos leyendo. Si leemos la Biblia
cada día acostumbráramos con los libros, los capítulos y los versículos de la Biblia. La palabra de Dios es viva y
eficaz (Hebreos 4:12). Si leemos la Biblia todos los días vamos a descubrir que la Biblia puede dar respuestas adecuadas a la mayoría de nuestros problemas. Lea una porción de la Biblia cada los día! ). *Hemos comenzado el grupo carismático para la comunidad anglófona en nuestra parroquia, ven y quedarse con nosotros y descubrir sus dones espirituales. Nos reunimos todos los jueves en la sala a las 7h00 de la tarde. Tenemos misa para los enfermos y
