DESCUBRIENDO UN AMOR MARAVILLOSO
Queridas amigas,
¡Este mes de Febrero es el mes del amor! El mes de los corazones, las flores, los pajarillos
que cantan “pío pío” y las notas de amor . Sin embargo, el amor es mucho más que eso
porque el amor verdadero se encuentra en nuestro Señor Jesucristo. Jamás he conocido un
amor como el de mi Señor Jesús. Nadie en la tierra podría imitar ese incalculable y valioso
amor.
Cuando acepté a Cristo en mi corazón, lo que más me impresionó fue la gran compasión y
misericordia de Dios para con nosotros. Cristo Jesús sufrió voluntariamente lo que a
nosotras nos correspondía, porque El sabía que toda la crueldad que El pasó en su cuerpo,
no íbamos a poder hacerlo nosotros. ¡Qué tan bello es nuestro Dios! El nos mostró el
verdadero amor a través de este sacrificio. Ese amor me flechó, y para siempre cambió mi
vida.
¿Cómo podemos reflejar ese amor en nosotros? Amando como El nos amó (1 Jn. 4:19). En
este mes del amor, enseñemos a los demás lo que es el verdadero amor, reflejado en
nuestras acciones y actitudes.
Nuestras Acciones: Sirviendo a los demás y mostrando nuestro amor a través del servicio
a la familia, en el trabajo y en la iglesia. No nos cansemos de hacer el bien a los que nos
rodean. Jesús manifestó su amor sirviendo a los demás (sanó a un ciego, cojos, paralíticos,
endemoniados, etc.)
Nuestras Actitudes: Amando a los demás sin rencores, sin resentimientos, siendo justos y
no injustos , siendo humildes cuando alguien falla, soportando a los que son débiles de
carácter etc. No dando mal por mal sino bien por mal.
Amigas, el mundo precisa conocer el amor de Dios, y si tú ya tienes a Jesús en tu corazón,
entonces Dios te usará para reflejar su amor a través de ti. Un amor que no se cansa, que
todo lo sufre, todo lo cree, todo lo soporta. Un amor que nunca deja de ser (1 Cor. 13).

DISCOVERING A WONDERFUL LOVE
My dear friends,
This month of February, is the month of love! It’s a month of hearts, flowers, birds singing
“pío pío” and love notes . Nonetheless, love is much more than that because true love is
found in our Lord Jesus Christ. Personally, I’ve never known such love as that of my Lord
Jesus. No one on earth could ever imitate or try to give me that valuable love.
When I accepted Christ in my heart, I was so impressed by his compassion and mercy for
our lives. Jesus voluntarily suffered on that cross because he knew that we couldn’t have
made it on our own. Therefore, he decided to suffer in our place. How beautiful is our God!
He showed us what true love really is through his own sacrifice. That love captivated me
and changed my life forever.
How can we show others that great love? By loving in the same way he loved us first (1 Jn.
4:19). In this month, let’s teach others what true love means as they see it in our actions
and attitudes.
Our Actions: This is done by serving others and showing our love through serving our
family, at our workplace, and church. Let’s not become weary of doing good to those
around us. Jesus manifested his love by serving others (he healed blind people, paralytics,
and others that needed his healing touch).
Our Attitudes: Loving others without holding grudges or resentment but acting with all
justice and with humility if someone fails. We’re to bear with another’s faults and with
those whose character is weak. We cannot payback with evil actions but good ones at all
times.
Friends, the world needs to know God’s love and if you already have Jesus in your heart,
then God will use you to show his love through your life. This will be a type of love that
won’t become weary but a love that will suffer and believe in all things. It’ll be a type of
love that never fails (1 Cor. 13).
