Intercessions for a New Bishop





That as we pray for a new Bishop for the Diocese of Salt Lake City, we remember that God is the
giver of every good gift, we pray to the Lord.
That during this time of waiting and praying for a new bishop, those entrusted with the leadership of
our Diocese will manifest the Lord Jesus by their example, we pray to the Lord.
That as we wait and pray for a new bishop, we will be strengthened as God’s holy people to follow in
the footsteps of Christ, we pray to the Lord.
That Pope Francis, and those in the church who prayerfully select our new bishop, will be given a
spirit of wisdom and counsel so that they may discern God’s will, we pray to the Lord.
That our future bishop will be blessed with the gifts he needs to carry on the ministry of Jesus in our
diocese, we pray to the Lord.

Para que conforme estamos en oración por un Nuevo Obispo para la Diócesis de Salt Lake City,
recordemos que Dios es el dador de todos los dones, roguemos al Señor.
Para que en este tiempo de espera y oración por un nuevo obispo, aquellos quienes han sido
confiados con el liderazgo de nuestra diócesis manifiesten al Señor Jesús mediante su ejemplo,
roguemos al Señor.
Para que conforme esperamos y oramos por un nuevo obispo, seamos fortalecidos como el pueblo
de Dios siguiendo los pasos de Cristo, roguemos al Señor.
Para que el Papa Francisco, y aquellos en la Iglesia quienes elijarán a nuestro nuevo obispo,
tengan el espíritu de sabiduría y atención para que así puedan discernir la voluntad de Dios,
roguemos al Señor.
Para que nuestro futuro obispo sea bendecido con los dones necesarios para llevar el ministerio de
Jesús en esta diócesis, roguemos al Señor.
