The digital DFX GOLD series consists of a professional DVB-T or ATSC transmitter
suitable for low and medium powers, supporting MFN architecture. This series is
designed as an easy, flexible and compact system. It includes: DVB-T or ATSC
exciter, an eventual power amplifier and an output filter to comply with the emission
mask specification required. The device could be contained in 12HE or 21HE
cabinets. Transmitters output power is available from 2.5W to 500/900W. The
modular construction of the equipment makes this transmitter family very reliable
and facilitate maintenance and control procedures. The exciter, built in 3HE
cabinet, consists of plug-in modules and integrates the digital modulator as well as
the up-converter section. All DVB-T modulator operating parameters including
modulation type, FEC, guard interval, carriers number and bandwidth can be easily
set on the front panel. The plug-in structure makes easy to obtain any configuration
desired and also makes possible to insert other optional modules (like ATV
modulator and “timer” module, easily transforming the digital driver in a dual cast
one). High efficiency amplifier, based on latest LD-MOS technology, offers great
linearity and excellent performances. Each amplifier integrates modular switching
power supplies and the following protections: SWR, over-temperature, over-drive,
over-current and over-voltage. Each device is equipped with a LCD meter display
to control all operating parameters and a remote control interface.

I sistemi della serie DFX GOLD sono trasmettitori professionali di bassa e media
potenza adatti per la trasmissione di segnali digitali DVB-T e ATSC in reti MFN. Il
sistema DFX GOLD è composto da: exciter DVB-T o ATSC, eventuale
amplificatore di potenza, filtro d’uscita ed un rack da 12HE o 21HE. Per tutte le
bande di frequenza sono disponibili potenze di uscita da 2.5W a 500/900W.
L’exciter, allocato in un rack 3HE e composto da moduli plug-in, comprende il
modulatore digitale e la parte di conversione. Tutti i parametri di funzionamento del
modulatore DTV possono essere settati sul pannello frontale. Il design compatto e
la versatilità della struttura facilitano le operazioni di controllo e manutenzione e
permettono di modificare la configurazione del sistema. Gli amplificatori sono
realizzati con le più avanzate tecnologie LD-MOS, garantendo un’elevata
affidabilità e prestazioni superiori. Ogni amplificatore include alimentatori
“switching” ad alto rendimento e le seguenti protezioni: SWR, alta temperatura,
sovra-corrente, sovra-pilotaggio e sovra-tensione. Ciascun sistema integra un
display multifunzionale per la visualizzazione di tutti i parametri e l’interfaccia per il
controllo remoto.

Los equipos digitales de la serie GOLD son transmisores profesionales de baja y
mediana potencia para redes MFN. Estàn disponibles en los estàndares DVB-T o
ATSC. Presentan un diseño completamente modular y reducido tamaño
extremadamente compacto y flexible. Están dotados de excitadores en modulaciòn
DVB-T o ATSC, eventual amplificador de potencia y filtro de salida. Se albergan en
rack de 12HE o 21HE. Proporcionan potencias de salida de 2.5W a 500/900W,
asegurando la máxima calidad y fiabilidad. La construcción modular permite
obtener dimensiones pequeñas y rendimiento muy alto. El mantenimiento, así
como las operaciones de control, son simples y fáciles de ejecutar. El excitador,
alojado en un bastidor de 3HE, està formado por mòdulos de enchufle y contiene
tanto el modulador digital como la secciòn del convertidor. Desde el panel frontal
es posible ajustar todos paràmetros de funcionamiento del modulador.
La construcciòn en mòdulos de enchufle, con alto grado de integraciòn, permite de
alojar otros mòdulos transformando el sistema en cualquier configuraciòn (por
ejemplo dual cast, añadiendo el modulador ATV y el mòdulo timer) en un solo
contenedor. Los amplificadores de potencia, basados en transistores LD-MOS de
alta densidad de potencia y elevada linealidad, garantizan calidad, prestaciones y
fiabilidad. Los amplificadores integran las fuentes de alimentaciòn
tipo
« switching » de elevada eficiencia y las siguientes protecciones : SWR, sobrevoltage, alta temperatura, alta corriente y sobre-excitaciòn (over-drive). La pràctica
pantalla LCD permite observar todos los paràmetros de funcionamiento. Todos los
aparados engloban interfaz para control remoto.
