Know the 5 symptoms
1)
2)

Diarrhea
Vomiting
Jaundice (yellowing of skin due to Hepatitis
infection)
Lesions that are bleeding or contain pus
Sore throat with fever
Conozca los cinco síntomas
1) Diarrea
2) Vómito
3) Ictericia (piel amarilla por infección de
Hepatitis)
4) Lesiones que sangran o contienen pus
5) Dolor de garganta con fiebre alta

Conozca las seis enfermedades
1) nontyphoidal Salmonella
2) Typhoid Fever (caused by Salmonella Typhi)
3) Shigella spp.
4) Escherichia coli que produce la Shiga toxina
5) Norovirus
6) Hepatitis A virus

El empleado debe reportar TODOS los cinco síntomas y
TODAS las seis enfermedades a la persona encargada del
establecimiento.

La PERSONA ENCARGADA debe escluir/restringir el
empleado que está reportando los síntomas o
enfermedades de la area de trabajo.

diseases to the person in charge.

Person in charge must exclude/restrict employees
who report symptoms/diseases from work area.
(Use Health Code pages 34-42 to make the right decision when
excluding/restricting employees.)

Person in charge must report the symptom Jaundice
and ALL 6 diseases to the Health Department.
La PERSONA ENCARGADA debe reportar el síntoma de
