Productora Mexicana. Especialista en Pitching y Desarrollo de proyectos.
Actualmente dirige dos productoras de documental, Martfilms que
produce primeras y segundas películas enfocadas a los derechos humanos
y Cienegadocs. especializada en documentales. En el 2009 con el “El
árbol olvidado”; nominado ARIEL 2011. En el último año produce “México
Bárbaro 2010”, “Morir de pié” ganador del Festival Internacional de Cine
en Guadalajara, “El cielo abierto” y “Cuates de Australia” con apoyo de:
Janvrijman Fund, Tribeca Film Institute del director Everardo González
selección oficilal IDFA2011. Actualmente coproduce con Francia, España
y Finlandia “Batallas Íntimas”. Comienza su carrera en ONCETV y la BBC
de Londres, participando en cortometrajes y largometrajes de ficción
tanto en México como España, obteniendo reconocimientos desde el
Clermont Ferrand hasta nominación a los GOYA. Desde el 2008 coordina
el área de documental en el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica
México (CCC). Imparte clases de Producción en el CUEC y colabora con
la cátedra de Producción de la EICTV Cuba, donde asesora proyectos en
desarrollo y picthing para NUEVAS MIRADAS. Desde el 2006 tiene a su
cargo la tutoría de proyectos en desarrollo de ficción y documental para
Productores de Latinoamérica en el MORELIA LAB. En el 2008 Inicia crea
una fuctifera colaboración con Carlos Taibo y escriben el libro MANUAL DE
BASICO DE PRODUCCION CINEMATOGRAFICA, editado por el IMCINE,
CCC y CUEC. Durante el mismo período crea la “Cine-fabrica de Redes”
empresa especializada en la capacitación y desarrollo de habilidades para
productores. Realiza estudios de Producción Ejecutiva en la “EICTV”; Film
Business School de Lubeck-Alemania del MEDIA donde se especializa como
(Executive development) y especialista en análisis de proyectos y pitching.
Durante su periodo en España realizó estudios de “Medios Alternativos de
Distribución”, “Gestión Cultural”; así como la especialización de “Dirección
Documental”. Obtiene un beca del MEDIA MUNDUS para el EURODOC
2011 (Programme for European documentary professionals).

Mexican Producer. Specialist in Pitching and Projects
development. She currently directs two documentary producer
companies Martfilms, which produced first and second films
focused on Human Rights, and Cienegadocs, specialized in
documentary films. In 2009, with “El árbol olvidado”, she got a
nomination to the ARIEL 2011. Las year she produced “México
Bárbaro 2010”, “Morir de pie” winner at the International
Film Festival in Guadalajara, “El cielo abierto” and “Cuates de
Australia” by Everardo Gonzalez, with the support of: Janvrijman
Fund, Tribeca Film Institute, official selection of the IDFA2011.
At present she co produces with France, Spain and Finland
“Batallas Íntimas”. She started her career in ONCETV and the
BBC in London, participating in short and full-length films in
Mexico and in Spain; she got the recognition of Clermont Ferrand
and a nomination to the GOYA. Since 2008 she coordinates the
documentary Area at the Cinematographic Training Center (CCC).
She teaches Production at the CUEC and she collaborates with
the Production professorship at EICTV Cuba, where she advises
fiction and documentary developing projects and pitching for
NUEVAS MIRADAS. Since 2006 she is responsible of fiction and
documentary developing projects for Latin American Producers in
MORELIA LAB. In 2008 she started a very prolific collaboration
with Carlos Taibo, they wrote the MANUAL DE BASICO DE
PRODUCCION CINEMATOGRAFICA, edited by IMCINE, CCC
and CUEC. At the same time she created “Cine-fabrica de
Redes”, an enterprise which is specialized on the training and
development of abilities for producers. She studied Executive
Production at EICTV; Film Business School in Lubeck, Germany,
where she specialized as Executive developer and project analysis
specialist and pitching. When she lived in Spain she studied
“Alternative Distribution Media”, “Cultural Management”; and the
specialization of “Documentary Direction”. She held a scholarship
from MEDIA MUNDUS for the EURODOC 2011 (Program for
European documentary professionals).
Martha Orozco was part of the Selection Committee of the
Talent Coproduction Meeting in this 2013 edition.
