Protektor-Handhabungshinweise
Um das Keramik-Scherenblatt der marCut® Schere bei
der Instrumentenaufbereitung wirkungsvoll schützen zu
können, wird die Verwendung des Protektors (Art. Nr.
80-570-00) empfohlen.
Nach der üblichen manuellen Vorreinigung sollte das Instrument für die Reinigung in der Spülmaschine in der
unten gezeigten Weise in den Protektor eingelegt werden. Anschließend wird die Anordnung im Container oder
im Sterilbeutel autoklaviert. Das Instrument wird erst
unmittelbar vor der Anwendung steril aus dem Protektor
entnommen und in diesen nach der Anwendung wieder
zurückgelegt (auch im ungereinigten Zustand). Die OPAssistenz sollte das Instrument nach Abschluss der OP
geschützt im Protektor auf dem Instrumententisch ablegen. Soll das Instrument vor der manuellen Reinigung in
Reinigungs- und Desinfektionslösung eingelegt werden,
sollte dies ebenfalls nur im Protektor erfolgen. Das Instrument soll sich also nur für die Zeit der Anwendung
und der manuellen Vorreinigung außerhalb des Protektors befinden.
Use of the protector is recommended for handling marCut® scissors!
Protector Handling Instructions
To effectively protect the ceramic-coated blade of the
marCut® scissors during instrument processing, we recommend using the protector (item no. 80-570-00).
Following the usual manual precleaning, the instrument
should be placed into the protector (in the manner
shown below) before storing it in the washer-disinfector
for further cleaning. Thereafter, the whole setup is autoclaved either in a container or a sterilization pouch. The
sterile instrument is removed from the protector only
immediately prior to use and should be placed back into
it again after use (even uncleaned). When depositing the
scissors on the instrument table following completion of
the operation, it is also recommended to use the protector, and the same applies to manual cleaning by immersion in a cleaning and disinfecting solution. In short, and
as a rule, the instrument should be removed from its
protector only for immediate use and manual precleaning! At all other times, it should be stored in the protector.

Instrucciones de uso del protector
Para proteger de forma efectiva la hoja de tijera cerámica de las tijeras marCut® durante el reprocesado del
instrumental, se aconseja la utilización del protector (nº
ref. 80-570-00).
Después del prelavado manual corriente, sería
conveniente introducir el instrumento en el protector
según se indica más abajo, procediéndose a continuación
a la limpieza en la máquina de lavado. Acto seguido
deberá autoclavar el conjunto en el contenedor o en la
bolsa estéril. Sería adecuado que el instrumento estéril
se extrajera del protector sólo inmediatamente antes de
la aplicación, volviéndose a colocar en éste una vez
finalizada ésta (también en el caso de que no se haya
lavado). Una vez concluida la intervención quirúrgica,
sería recomendable que el personal asistente del
quirófano colocara el instrumento sobre la mesa de
instrumental resguardado por el protector. En el caso de
que desee introducir el instrumento en una solución de
lavado y desinfección antes de la limpieza manual,
también sería aconsejable hacerlo en el protector. Por lo
tanto, sería conveniente que el instrumento sólo se
encontrara fuera del protector durante el tiempo de su
utilización y del prelavado manual.

Consignes d’utilisation du protecteur
Pour assurer une protection efficace des lames en céramique des ciseaux marCut® lors de la préparation des
instruments, l’utilisation du protecteur (réf. 80-570-00)
est recommandée.
Après le prénettoyage manuel habituel, l’instrument devrait être placé dans le protecteur en procédant comme
indiqué ci-dessous pour le nettoyage en machine à laver.
Ensuite, l’ensemble est autoclavé en conteneur ou en sachet stérile. L’instrument, stérile, ne sera retiré du protecteur que directement avant l’utilisation et devrait y
être remis après utilisation (même non nettoyé). A
l’issue de l’intervention, l’assistant opératoire devrait déposer l’instrument placé dans le protecteur sur la table à
instruments. L’instrument devrait également être placé
dans le protecteur avant d’être immergé dans une solution de nettoyage et de désinfection préalablement au
nettoyage manuel. Il ne devrait donc être sorti du protecteur que pendant son utilisation et pour le prénettoyage manuel.

Avvertenze per l’uso relative al dispositivo di protezione
Per poter proteggere in modo efficace la lama in ceramica delle forbici marCut® durante la fase di preparazione degli strumenti, consigliamo di utilizzare il dispositivo
di protezione (cod. 80-570-00).
In seguito alla consueta pulizia preliminare manuale, lo
strumento dovrebbe essere inserito nel dispositivo di
protezione ai fini della pulizia nella sciacquatrice, procedendo nel modo illustrato di seguito. Successivamente ha
luogo la sterilizzazione in autoclave nel contenitore o nel
sacchetto di sterilizzazione. Lo strumento sterile viene
prelevato dal dispositivo di protezione solo immediatamente prima della sua applicazione e dovrebbe essere
nuovamente riposto in suddetto dispositivo una volta utilizzato (anche se imbrattato). Si consiglia di utilizzare il
dispositivo di protezione anche quando, al termine
dell’intervento operatorio, si depositano le forbici sul tavolo degli strumenti. Lo stesso vale anche nel caso in cui
lo strumento debba essere immerso nella soluzione detergente e di disinfezione per la pulizia manuale. In altri
termini, lo strumento dovrebbe essere estratto dal dispositivo di protezione soltanto per un’applicazione immediata e ai fini della pulizia preliminare manuale. Per il resto del tempo dovrebbe essere conservato nel dispositivo
di protezione.
