NADBank News Vol. XX, Edition 21, August 30, 2016 In this edition: Comisión Municipal de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado del Municipio de Reynosa Tamaulipas North American Development Bank Wastewater Collection and Treatment Project in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST No.: EOI-SUP-COMAPA-PIS-001-2016 The local water utility, Comisión Municipal de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado de Reynosa, Tamaulipas (COMAPA), in Reynosa Tamaulipas, has received a grant from the North American Development Bank (NADB) through its Border Environment Infrastructure Fund (BEIF), which is funded by contributions from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), to finance part of the construction costs related to the Wastewater Collection and Treatment Project in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico (the “Project”). COMAPA intends to contract a consulting firm to provide Coordination, Management and Supervision Services for the Construction of Lift Station No. 278 (88 lps) and the Rehabilitation of Lift Station No. 1 (360 lps), in the Municipality of Reynosa, Tamaulipas. The services will consist of verifying that construction work is carried out in accordance with the designs, specifications and established standards, as well as monitoring project performance and the proper use of funds provided by NADB. These services are expected to begin in November 2016andwill have a duration of 19 months. The consultant selection process for contracts financed with NADB funds will be carried out in accordance with NADB Procurement Policies and Procedures and is open to firms from any country. Firms interested in providing these consulting services are hereby invited to submit expressions of interest. A short-list of qualified firms will be drawn up and formally invited to submit proposals following this invitation. Bid documentation and terms of reference will be issued in Spanish only. Firms interested in providing these services must have at least five years of experience in supervising the construction of similar works of an equal or greater scope. In order to determine the capability and experience of consulting firms seeking to be short-listed, interested firms must submit the following information: 1. 2. 3. 4. Details concerning the experience required for the services advertised herein, acquired in the past five years, including a brief description of the activities performed, amount contracted, duration of the services, and personnel who participated. Contact name and phone number for at least three references of each of the projects completed within the past five years. Curriculum vitae of staff available to work on this project. Consideration will only be given to the CVs of those persons that have direct experience in the water and wastewater infrastructure projects and the ability to work in Spanish. COMAPA will not be liable for any loss or delay in the delivery of the documentation, whether by the firm or a delivery service. Each firm is responsible for delivering its documentation on time.
