 continuous tracking, compact size, monocoque design, polymeric bearings,

 All these benefits configure a wining product for those regions with higher
solar radiation and daylight temperatures.

Developing Two New Patents
Maintenance free slew drive
A compact slew drive for the azimuth axis which incorporates
polymeric maintenance free bearings and a new mechanical
solution for final drive transmission.
New CPV receiver concept
We are developing our own receiver in order to be able to chose
any CPV cell manufacturer (Solar Junction, Azur Space,
Spectrolab, etc.)
It has been seen in the relationship with Azur that one big problem
was the cost of their receivers, and therefore we have introduced
innovations which reduce the cost of this component.

Simplified Field Installation
 Our technology allows a very fast and efficient field installation process and a
minimal environmental impact. We estimate that a well trained team of 10
employees can install 1 MW per day.
 Thanks to our exclusive aerial connection system ground works are minimized as no
trenches for cabling are required.
 Just a previous field cleaning is needed, no grading required: hilly ground sites can
be used.
 No concrete foundations are needed, as ground driven galvanized steel posts are
used instead. This minimizes the environmental impact on the ground, and facilitates
future dismantling once end of life is reached.
 Our systems are shipped completely assembled and tested from a local factory,
transported to the installation site using trailer trucks. On site, small cranes pick up
the CPVRS 072 systems and move them to their position within the solar farm,
where they are bolted to the previously driven posts.
 Finally, systems are inter-connected using aerial cables.

Unique Business Model
Our marketing strategy is strongly based on the CPVRS decentralized assembly concept,
protected by a patent.
Valldoreix Greenpower will focus on providing high tech components:
 SOG panels
 Receiver panels
 Tracker components
 Control system
 Inverters
These components will be provided as kits, together with a fully documented
manufacturing process, to licensed international partners who will be responsible for local
assembly and commercialization of the CPVRS systems.
So, our local partners are a key success element.

The Business Plan

 Valldoreix Greenpower was founded in 2004 with the objective of developing products and
services related to the renewable energy industry.
 Developed Sol3g, a CPV pioneer company, which was sold to Abengoa in 2010.
 Since 2010 has developed a new CPV technology: the CPVRS system, now ready for
industrialization.
 Holding 4 patents on this system, developing two new patents at the moment for second
generation.
 Planed investment of 1,4 M € in 2015-2016 to reach 60 MW capacity, certify product and
marketing launch activities for the new product.
 Financial forecast for year 2020:
 CPVRS sales: 80 M €
 Total sales including additional products and services: 119 M €
 EBITDA: 13 M €

 This Business Plan is strongly focused on the business development of the CPVRS system, but
Valldoreix Greenpower has complementary services and products.
 Developed additional spin-off product lines: PVAST two axis PV trackers and HST small area
heliostats for CSP and hybrid CPV-CSP systems.
 Has a concept with a US provisional patent for an automated glass cleaning system, the
Cleandrone, which can be used for CSP, CPV and PV plants as a first application field.
 Has developed an energy control system: Watterflow, now being used to guarantee zero
injection in Spanish self-consumption installations.
 Has been selling engineering and consulting services and being in other PV business areas, like
distribution and retail.
 Turnover 240 K € in 2014. Shift from distribution and retail of PV products to commercialization of
engineering services and our new own products.
