Eduardo “Happy” Peredo Wins WRC Erechim
Eduardo “Happy” Peredo won the WRC Erechim 2014. Peredo
competed in the RC2 Category and finished with a time of 2:06:13.
Virat Kohli Named Cricketer of the Year

On June 2, Virat Kohli was named CEAT International Cricketer of
the Year. This is the first time Virat has won this award, which is
given to the most outstanding cricket player in India. Omar Gonzalez Selected for the U.S. Men’s Team

victory, Deportivo Lara qualified for the Copa Sudamericana.
Carlos Oquendo Wins Two Championships
Colombia
Colombian BMX racer Carlos Mario Oquendo won both the
Continental Latin American and the South American BMX
Championship. Chun Kai Feng Wins Asian Cycling Championship
Taiwan
Taiwan’s No. 1 cyclist, Chun Kai Feng, represented the Chinese
Taipei team at the 2014 Asian Cycling Championships in
Kazakhstan. At the championships, Feng took home a silver medal
in the Men’s Elite 30 kilometer Points Race and a bronze medal in
the Men’s Team Sprint of 15 kilometers race. Herbalife Sponsors Tour de Jogja
Indonesia
Herbalife was a nutrition sponsor at the Tour de Jogja, a cycling
race held May 10–11 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event attracted 800
participants. Herbalife provided free shakes to cyclists throughout
the race. There was also a roadshow booth providing product
information and nutrition advice.

Rafael “Bean” Cavalcante is a Brazilian mixed martial artist in the
UFC. He fights in the light heavyweight division and won the
Strikeforce World Championship belt in 2010.
Heena Sidhu
India
Heen Sidhu is a pistol shooter from India. She is the first Indian
pistol shooter to be ranked No. 1 by the ISSF. Sidhu is also the first
Indian pistol shooter to have won a gold medal in the 2013 ISSF
World Cup Finals for the 10 meter Air Pistol Event.
