El Congreso será un foro donde se expongan y contrasten las últimas novedades y tendencias científico-técnicas en el campo
de la soldadura, los adhesivos y otras tecnologías de unión. Pretendemos una vez más servir de punto de encuentro para el
intercambio de experiencias y conocimientos entre expertos de las diferentes tecnologías de unión. Esperamos que sirva para
divulgar el conocimiento y capacidad tecnológica de empresas, universidades y centros tecnológicos.
Agradecer una vez más a las entidades patrocinadoras y colaboradoras, la mayor parte de ellas Miembros Industriales
de CESOL, son las que realmente hacen posible cada una de las ediciones de este Congreso/Jornadas, no solo por sus
aportaciones económicas, sino por su aportación en la presentación de trabajos en este foro. Gracias al Comité Organizador,

For the 3rd edition of the International Congress and 21st Technical Sessions on Welding and Joining Technologies
(INTERJOIN), CESOL accepted the proposal of FUNDACIÓN METAL ASTURIAS and FUNDACIÓN ITMA to celebrate it in
Gijón. The Government of Asturias and Gijón City Council support the celebration of this event. Also highlight the role
of Gijón Polytechnic School of Engineering, University of Oviedo, which has offered its facilities to host the Congress. To

The Congress will provide a forum that will identify and contrast the latest scientific developments and technical trends
in the field of welding, adhesives and other bonding technologies. We intend to, once again, serve as a meeting point for
the exchange of experiences and knowledge between experts of different joining technologies. We hope it will serve to
disseminate knowledge and technological capacity of companies, universities and technological centers.
Once again thank to the sponsoring companies, most of them Industrial Members of CESOL, which are who really make it
possible for each of the editions of this Congress/Sessions, not only for their financial contributions, but for their technical
