OBSERVATIONS a) In Jalapa the organizing activities and that of the Project were delayed the whole month of May and the first two weeks of June due to the territorial issue with the "state of siege" declared in the region due to the indigenous communities’ position against mining projects. 5 b) In Copan Ruins, there is a lack of political willingness from the local government to open up to implementing processes for productive development in the communities. c) Due to the inflection rate that both countries are experiencing, there was a need to reduce the number of Xinka women participants in the experience Exchange from 10 originally planned to 4. Same for the Healing and Transformation of fear school from 20 participants originally planned the number was reduced to 10 participants. Both groups replicated what they learn in their communities. 5. RECOMENDATIONS AND LECCIONS LEARNED a) Continue with the collective coordination meeting at least once a month, to review the actions of the project and make decisions to implement the organizational agreements and the progress of achievements. b) Have a monitoring tool for the community groups. 6. CONTINUING ACTIONS a) The Xinka women will start the free range chicken project with the construction of the chicken coop, the delivery of the chicken, vaccinations, production of the natural feed for the chicken and monitoring. They will also sell corn at the community level in the months of July, August, and September. b) The Chorti women will attend the Feminist school for the healing and transformation of fear. c) The visit from the World Nieghbours Canadá committee and Osoyos Indian Band to the communities benefiting from the projects in Santa Maria Xalapán y Copán Ruinas will be organized. 6 7.
