It is with much affection that we wish two much-loved Cali teachers good
luck in their well-earned retirement!
Rebekah Rocha: By now, I am sure you are all aware that our wonderful
Assistant Principal, Rebekah Rocha has taken on the challenge of a
principalship at Geyserville Elementary. In the five short years she has been
with us, she has left a significant legacy here at Cali: Club Academia,
recognizing academic achievement in our older students, bringing
Challenge Day, to name only a few and most recently, helping conceptualize and bring to reality the implementation of enrichment programs that
have touched all students this year! I know you join me in wishing her all the
best in the new adventure she has chosen to pursue; it is with a very heavy
heart we say goodbye.
Maestra Socorro Nelson has taught kindergarten at Cali since 1989.
Before that she worked in the district as a bilingual classroom aide until
teachers and administrators recognized her caring effectiveness working
with small children and encouraged her to get a teaching credential. She
did just that and has worked at Cali ever since, touching the lives of
hundreds of children and adults.
She has also been responsible for monthly translation of the school
newsletter as well as many of the district letters and official documents.
Mrs. Diane Elin, Speech and Language Pathologist, has been in the district
since 2002. She has worked with students of all ages who need extra
support with speaking and articulation. She has supported students and
created lasting relationships with students and families that have endured
long after students leave our school. Mrs. Elin can always be counted on to
lend a hand, pitch in to make a plan work and to go the extra mile for staff
and students. Her influence will be felt for many years and her absence will
leave a void that is tough to fill.
Shannon Pellman: Mr. Pellman has been with us since 2008 when he took
over a third grade class for a teacher who was forced to leave mid year due
to illness. Since then, he has been a fixture in 6th grade inspiring students
to always do their personal best. We wish him well as he takes on a new
challenge at Windsor Middle School and continues coaching Golf and the
Girls’ Varsity Softball team at Windsor High.

We are still short of our $50K goal. If you haven’t been able to send in your
donation yet, you still can. If one big sum is not an option right now, please
consider the option of making small monthly payments via PayPal
subscription through the Cali website. As little as $5 per month will cover
one student over a year. Please do what you can to ensure that our
children receive all the benefits that our art, music, technology, nutrition,

If you didn't already order a yearbook, there will be more available for
purchase during the last week of school. Pre-ordered books will be
delivered to classrooms on Tuesday, May 25th and starting Wed. May 26th
we will sell any unsold books.
Helga Garcia: We wish maestra Garcia well as she returns to her native
Mexico! She has been “on loan” to us through the Bi-national teacher
program for this year. We will miss her colorful, creative, unique
perspective as our 7/8 grade Art and Spanish teacher.
Cali Staff Appreciation Lunch
is Thursday, May 21st “Ciao for now!”
Help treat our great Cali teachers and staff to a fabulous Italian themed
lunch. Please come by the Volunteer room to sign up to bring a dish or to

Give the Gift of Cultural Exchange
by hosting an exchange student for
3½ weeks this summer!
Thank you for helping at our successful
Book Fair!
Our Spring Book Fair was a huge success! An amazing crew of over 20
volunteers helped to staff the Book Fair. Hundreds of our families visited
during Open House. Because of your support, the Cali Library is able to
purchase lots of new books for all of our kids and teachers.
Educational Homestay Programs, a non-profit organization, is
seeking interested families to host Russian, Spanish and Italian high school
students arriving to the Santa Rosa area June 24th – July 20th! Students
attend English language classes at and organized cultural activities, M-F.
Host families are invited to join us in these activities!
Make a lasting impact on a young person’s life by opening your home and
heart to one of our students. Students do not need their own room.
EF can provide a temporary bed for a host family that has the space, but is
in need of an extra bed. A network of host families is developing to
coordinate summer time gatherings to heighten the cultural exchange and
community experience our programs create.
I READ EVERYWHERE
The library is collecting photos of our Cali family reading in unusual places
to display on our bulletin board. The photos may be candid, posed or even
Photoshopped, but must include a member of the Cali community reading
in a place that is, well, interesting. The theme of our bulletin board will be

new bilingual cookbook! Get yours while they last - in the office or

benefit the Garden and Nutrition Education program for students. A great

Interested in Fall 2015 Sports?
Although the school year is ending, please think about your child's
participation in sports at Cali for the 2015-2016 school year. If your child is
planning on participating in Fall sports next year, please schedule an
appointment for a physical over the summer. Physicals are only good for
one school year. If you have Kaiser, they will tell you that the physical is
good for two years. The school needs a new copy with a new physical date.
This can take Kaiser up to three days.
Fall sports are:
• 7th/8th co-ed soccer
• 7th & 8th girls' basketball
Garden and Nutrition News
• 5th/6th girls' volleyball.
We are so thankful to the over 100 Cali volunteers and WHS GSE students
who transformed the Cali gardens and playgrounds last month! Thirty
yards of mulch, and six yards of soil was shoveled and raked, and many
beds cleaned up to make way for students to plant veggies for Spring and
Fall harvest. Western Tree Service, SBI, Prickett's Nursery, Safeway, Raleys
and Peets Coffee all donated food and materials that helped make the day
such a success! Already 3rd - 6th graders harvested lettuces, mustard,
radishes and broccoli for making Veggie Rollups, a healthy recipe that
includes all the food groups! (And it’s in the Cali Cookbook!) Kinder through
2nd grades have been out in the garden tasting fresh veggies, exploring
insect habitat and transplanting tomato seedlings. Soon irrigation will be
installed in the new garden and summer veggies will get their start.
Try-outs for soccer and girls' basketball will more than likely begin August
14th. 5th/6th girls' volleyball will be a week or two later. Please note that
these try-out dates are tentative at this time. If your child is interested in
these sports, please have the athletic packet and physical completed prior
to August 14th. Updated athletic packets will be available on the Cali
website by the end of this school year. If you have any questions, please

Sign up to help water the garden over the summer on a weekly basis
and complete all your volunteer hours before school even starts!

A GIGANTIC CALI “THANK YOU” TO SOME VERY SPECIAL VOLUNTEERS!
As you walk around campus, it is impossible to ignore some of the major
improvements that have happened this year! Special Cali thank you goes
out to the following awesome folks:
Bill Goodwin: When Desiree mentioned that students do not have a place
to store playground equipment so that it might be checked out at recess
and PE times, Mr. Goodwin really stepped up to save the day! After
donating more than two full Saturdays, we now have the perfect shed on
the playground next to the two story building that will serve as an
equipment shed! Not only is it functional, it is beautiful, thanks to Mr.
Goodwin’s fabulous carpentry skills!!! Thank you sooo much!
Cheryl and Dean Wallace: These two are the primary shakers and movers
making our dream of a beautiful Scholar Garden a reality! They are
responsible for getting the drainage just right, building and installing all of
the fencing, posts and benches that will eventually allow our students to
have classes outside as well as a beautiful spot to sit and read. Thank you
both so very much!!
Bobby Arreguin and Scott Byrn: Have you had a chance to venture out
onto the kindergarten play area? If you haven’t, you really should make a
point of checking out the gorgeous new concrete slab that now lies
beneath the snack tables! After noticing how muddy the area became
after a rain or after the tables having been cleaned, Scott Byrn and Bobby
Arreguin teamed up to conceptualize and organize the construction and
pouring of a beautiful concrete slab. An extra special thank you to Mr.
Arreguin for the generous donation of the necessary concrete and work
crew that made it happen! Generations of kindergartners and Extended
Childcare kids will benefit from your generosity!
Desiree Rodriguez: Desiree took on the implementation of an Active
recess grant and has been responsible for organizing weekend work
parties to paint game areas, hopscotches and relay lanes on the
playground to be enjoyed by all students. Next steps include training for
teachers so that students can learn an agreed upon set of rules for games
with the intention of reducing conflict during recesses. Thank you Desiree
for your passion for fitness and for making this happen!!
Cali Human Race Team for our
Peaceful Playground Project
Thank YOU Volunteers!
Although it is a requirement to volunteer at Cali, we still appreciate all the
time and energy that our volunteers give to make this school a wonderful
place for learning. The teachers and the volunteer room would like to give
a big thank you for all your hard work. Each morning May 26 - 28th, we will
have coffee and morning treats in the Volunteer Room (43). We hope you
can come by and visit for a while. (And if you haven't filled out your
volunteer card, you can do that too!)
The Human Race is a 3K or a 10K on Saturday May 9th in Santa Rosa. All Cali
families and friends are invited to join, run and raise money for our Peaceful
Playground project. Join our team, ask your friends and family to sponsor
you in the race and get it out on social media to spread the word. All money
will go toward equipment and staff to keep our kids moving on the
playground. You can either join the team or simply donate to a great cause.

About Cali’s Peaceful Playground Project
Scrip Cards for Summer Last Special Orders due Friday, May 8th
The playground is an essential part of any school and every community.
The Peaceful Playground program is intended to maximize the number of
students involved in physical activity, rather than having them wait in
line, or just stand around. The more kids get involved in games and learn
to work together on the playground, the less likely they are to bully and
fight. The purpose of the Peaceful Playgrounds Physical Activity Programs
is to introduce children and school staff to the many choices of
playground games.

Es con mucho cariño que deseamos a dos profesores muy queridos de Cali
buena suerte en su merecida jubilación.
Rebekah Rocha: Por ahora, estoy seguro que todos ustedes saben que
nuestra maravillosa subdirectora, Rebeca Rocha ha asumido el reto de una
dirección en La Escuela Primaria Geyserville. En los cinco años ha estado con
nosotros, ha dejado un legado importante aquí en Cali: Club Academia,
reconociendo los logros académicos de nuestros alumnos mayores, trayendo
día del desafío, por nombrar sólo unos pocos y más recientemente, ayudando
a conceptualizar y llevar a la realidad la implementación de programas de
enriquecimiento que han tocado a todos los estudiantes este año. Sé que
ustedes me acompañan deseándole lo mejor en la nueva aventura que ha
decidido perseguir; es con un corazón muy pesado que nos despedimos.
Maestra Socorro Nelson ha enseñado Kinder en Cali desde 1989. Antes de
eso trabajó en el distrito como asistente de salón de clase bilingüe hasta
que los maestros y administradores reconocieron su asegurando eficacia
trabajando con niños pequeños y le animaron a obtener una credencial de
enseñanza como profesora. Fue lo que hizo y ha trabajado en Cali desde
entonces, tocando las vidas de cientos de niños y adultos. También ha sido
responsable por la traducción mensual del boletín escolar, así como
muchas de las cartas para el distrito y los documentos oficiales.
Le deseamos mucha suerte con sus planes futuros.
Shannon Pellman: El Sr. Pellman ha estado con nosotros desde el 2008,
cuando tomó una clase de tercer grado supliendo a un maestro que se vio
obligado a dejar su clase a medio año debido a una enfermedad. Desde
entonces, él ha sido una inspiración en el 6º. grado y ha dejado una excelente
marca personal. Le deseamos lo mejor en su nueva posición en la Escuela
Windsor Middle School, continúa entrenando Golf y equipo de Softbol de
Varsity de las niñas en la Preparatoria de Windsor.
Mrs. Diane Elin, Patóloga del habla y lenguaje, ha trabajado en el distrito
desde el año 2002. Ha trabajado con estudiantes de todas las edades que
necesitan apoyo extra con el habla y la articulación. Ella ha apoyado a los
estudiantes y ha creado relaciones duraderas con los estudiantes y las
familias que han sufrido durante mucho tiempo después de que los

echar una mano, ayudar a que un plan trabaje y a ir la milla adicional para los
estudiantes y el personal. Su influencia se dejarán sentir durante muchos

Helga Garcia: Deseamos a maestra Garcia quien regresa a su natal México.
Ella ha sido "en préstamo" a nosotros a través del programa maestro
binacional para este año. Extrañaremos su colorido, creativo, única
perspectiva como nuestro maestro de arte y profesor de español.

¡Nuestra Feria del Libro de la Primavera tuvo mucho éxito! Con más de 20
fantásticos voluntarios quienes ayudaron. Cientos de familias visitaron
nuestra Escuela Abierta. Con este apoyo, la Biblioteca de Cali podrá
comprar cientos de libros para todos nuestros niños y maestros.

Intercambio Cultural del Verano
LEO EN TODAS PARTES
La biblioteca está recopilando fotos de nuestra familia de Cali leyendo en
lugares inusuales para mostrar en nuestro tablero de anuncios. Las fotos
pueden ser regulares o con Photoshop , pero deben incluir un miembro
de la comunidad de Cali leyendo en un lugar que es, bueno, interesante.
El tema de nuestro tablero de anuncios será " Encontrar el lector" .

Los programas educativos de Homestay Programs, una organización sin
lucro, busca familias interesadas para acoger a estudiantes de edad de la
preparatoria quienes hablan noruego, español o italiano y que estarán en
Santa Rosa del 24 de junio–20 de julio, por 3 ½ semanas para tener una
gran experiencia en el norte de California. Los estudiantes asisten a clases
de inglés y actividades culturales organizadas, lunes a viernes. Sus familias
anfitrionas están invitadas a asistir a estas actividades. Hagan un impacto
de por vida a la vida de una persona joven abriendo su casa y su corazón a
uno de nuestros estudiantes. Los estudiantes no necesitan tener su propio
cuarto. EF puede ofrecerles una cama temporal para la familia anfitriona
que tenga ese espacio, y tiene la necesidad de tener una cama extra. Se
ofrece el transporte de camión a los estudiantes. Una red de familias
anfitrionas se está desarrollando para coordinar reuniones en el verano
para aumentar la experiencia de intercambio cultural que nuestros
programas pueden crear.

¡Muchas gracias a las familias y estudiantes quienes contribuyeron con
recetas para nuestro nuevo recetario bilingüe! Consiga el suyo mientras

Muchas gracias a todos los padres quienes donaron dinero y tiempo al
atletismo en Cali. Sin su apoyo, no serían posibles los deportes en Cali.

otoño del 2015?
Noticias del Jardín y Nutrición
Estamos muy agradecidos a más de 100 voluntarios de Cali y estudiantes
de WHS GSE quienes transformaron los jardines de Cali y patios de recreo
el mes pasado. Treinta yardas de pajote, y seis yardas de tierra fueron
traspaladas y rastrilladas, y muchas camas limpiadas para que los
estudiantes planten los vegetales para la primavera y cosecha en el otoño.
Los siguientes negocios donaron comida y materiales para que éste día
tuviera tanto éxito: Western Tree Service, SBI, Prickett's Nursery, Safeway,
Raleys y Peets Coffee. Los estudiantes del 3º al 6º grado ya cosecharon
lechugas, mostaza, rábanos y brócoli para hacer rollos de verduras, una
receta saludable que incluye todos los grupos de comida. (Y se encuentra
en el recetario de Cali) Los estudiantes de kinder al 2º grado han salido a
probar las verduras frescas en los jardines, explorando el hábitat de
insectos y transplantando plantitas de tomates. Muy pronto se instalará la
irrigación en el nuevo jardín y las verduras del verano brotarán.
Aún cuando el año escolar termina, por favor piensen en los deportes en
Cali para el año escolar 2015-16. Si su hijo/a tiene planeado participar en
los deportes del otoño el próximo año, por favor haga una cita para que
tenga un examen físico en el verano. Los exámenes físicos son buenos por
sólo un año. Si usted tiene Kaiser, ellos le dirán que los físicos son buenos
por dos años. La escuela necesita una copia nueva con la nueva fecha del
examen físico cada año. Esto puede tomar a Kaiser hasta tres días.
Los deportes en el otoño serán:
• 7º. Y 8º. (co-ed) soccer para niños y niñas
• 7º. Y 8º. Baloncesto para niñas
• 5º. Y 6º Voleibol para niñas.
Pasen a decirnos si ustedes pueden regar cada semana los jardines durante
el verano y completar sus horas de voluntario antes de que comience la
escuela. Ofrecemos entrenamiento. Pasen a registrarse al salón 43.

Es probable que los try-outs para el fútbol (soccer) y baloncesto comenzará
el 14 de agosto. El voleibol para niñas en 5º y 6º grados serán en una semana
o dos después. Sepan que estos try-outs son fechas tentativas por ahora.
Si su hijo/a está interesado en estos deportes, por favor tenga un paquete
de atletismo y el examen físico completado antes del 14 de agosto.

¡MUCHÍSIMAS GRACIAS A ALGUNOS VOLUNTARIOS ESPECIALES DE CALI ¡
Al tanto que caminamos por la escuela, es imposible ignorar algunas de
las principales mejoras que han ocurrido este año. Gracias especiales a las
siguientes fabulosas personas:
Bill Goodwin: Cuando Desiree mencionó que los estudiantes no tenían un
lugar en donde colocar y guardar el equipo para usarlo en el patio de
recreo. Los estudiantes necesitan firmar para poder sacarlo durante los
recreos y horas de educación física. Mr. Goodwin dio un paso firme y nos
ayudó. Después de donar más de dos sábados completos, ahora tenemos
un lugar perfecto en el patio de recreo cerca al edificio de dos pisos.
No sólo es funcional, sino que está hermoso. ¡Gracias al Sr. Goodwin
por donar y lo felicitamos por sus grandes habilidades de carpintero!

Cheryl y Dean Wallace: Estos dos son los agitadores primarios y convertir
en realidad nuestro sueño de un hermoso jardín de escolar
se hiciera una realidad. Ellos son responsables de conseguir el drenaje
correcto, haciendo e instalando toda la cerca, postes y bancas que
eventualmente permitirán a nuestros estudiantes a tener clases en el
exterior así como un hermoso lugar para sentarse y leer.

Bobby Arreguin y Scott Byrn: ¿Ha tenido la oportunidad de
aventurarse en el área del patio de recreo de kinder? Si no es así, debe
de pasar para ver el hermoso concreto nuevo que pusieron en el área de
las mesas para comer. Después de ver lo lodoso que estaba después
de las lluvias, o después de que limpiaran las mesas, Scott Byrn y Bobby
Arreguin se unieron como equipo y organizaron la construcción y verter
el cemento que quedó hermoso. Gracias extras al Sr. Arreguin por su
generoso donativo del concreto y trabajo necesario para poder hacer
esto. Varias generaciones de kinder y los niños de la Guardería de
Extended Childcare se beneficiarán de su generosidad.
Desiree Rodriguez: Desiree hizo la implementación de un subsidio de un
recreo activo y ha sido responsable de organizar fiestas de fin de semana
de trabajo para pintar áreas del juego, castros y carriles de relé en el patio
para ser disfrutados por todos los estudiantes. Próximos pasos incluyen
la instrucción para maestros para que los estudiantes puedan aprender
un conjunto de reglas para juegos con la intención de reducir el conflicto
durante los recreos. Gracias a Desiree por su pasión por la aptitud y para
hacer esto realidad!!!!

Aún cuando es un requisito ser voluntario en Cali, en verdad apreciamos
todo el tiempo y energía que dan nuestros voluntarios para que esta
escuela sea un lugar fabuloso para aprender. Los maestros y el personal del
salón de voluntarios desean agradecerles por su arduo trabajo.
Cada mañana, la semana del 26-28 de mayo, 8:20-10am, tendremos café y
bocadillos en el salón de voluntarios (43). Esperamos que usted pueda pasar

La Carrera de Human Race es de 3K o de 10K el sábado 9 de mayo en Santa

Información sobre el Proyecto Pacífico del Patio de Recreo
El patio de recreo es una parte esencial de cualquier escuela y cada
comunidad. El Proyecto Pacífico del Patio de Recreo tiene intenciones de
aumentar el número de estudiantes haciendo actividades físicas, en vez
de que estén parados esperando su turno, o simplemente parados.
Mientras más niños estén incluidos en los juegos y aprendiendo a jugar
juntos en el patio de recreo, menos incidentes de violencia o peleas habrá.

Woods. They will enjoy a tour through some of the
tallest and oldest redwoods in California, including the

Este paseó esta fuera de este mundo! Miembros tendrán la
oportunidad de explorar el Planetario con su fantástico

Sube un Jungle gym de 45 pies de altura! Escala el

año de día de campo Olímpico. Usted estará compitiendo
contra otros miembros de los campamentos del Club de Niños

agua gigantes, competiciones de slip y slide, piratas y globos

Zoológico de Oakland
Jueves, Julio 30, 8:00-3:45. ($20)
Anda como pingüino, trepa como chango, y descansa como un
hipopótamo en el Zoológico de Oakland. El paseo incluye una
presentación privada de 45 minutos, sobre los hábitos y el
hogar de algunas de las criaturas que viven en el Zoológico.
Snoopy’s Ice

Atare tus patinas para una Aventura en el hielo! Vengan a

Campista vs. El Salvaje
Sera Campista contra la Madre Naturaleza, y usted
tiene sólo los recursos frente a ti. Aprenda como
hombres de las cavernas sobrevivieron, a construir
su propia vivienda, realizar un seguimiento de los
animales, y navegar a través de la naturaleza.

Aventura de California
No hay verano como un verano de California! Ven
a ver todo lo que el gran estado de California tiene
para ofrecer mientras navegamos la costa de California, la aventura a través de nuestros parques
nacionales, explorar las vibrantes ciudades de
Sacramento y San Francisco, y iremos localmente
con nuestro orgullo del condado de Sonoma!
Semana 7: Julio 20-24
El Gran Escape
Salgan a una aventura alrededor del mundo!
Aprenda sobre culturas lejanas, compitan en una
carrera derby, y crean increíbles máquinas voladoras. Al final de la semana participen en competiciones de día de campo olímpico internacional
para poner a prueba tus habilidades!

¿Tienes un experimento que has querido tratar?

Únete con nosotros en nuestro viaje para vivir la
vida a través de los ojos de un insecto. Esquiva

Muestre su artista interior y participen en juegos
de temática artística activas durante esta semana
creativa adicional en el campamento! Los campistas van a crear globos llenos de pintura, crear
esculturas humanas, así como muchas otras
obras maestras visuales durante toda la semana
Héroes fuera de órbita
Hasta el infinito y más allá! Únase con nosotros
para explorar el espacio exterior y aprender sobre
los planetas, astronautas y extraterrestres. Durante
esta semana va a hacer baba extraterrestre, lanzar
cohetes, y pasean por un entrenamiento Jedi! Esta
semana va a estar fuera de este mundo!

take place from 5:30 to 6:30PM on the
dates listed below. New Camper Orientation
is mandatory for all new Campers, and will
run from 5:30-6:00PM. Registration for new
and returning Campers will take place from
6:00-6:30PM.

This Field Trip is out of this world! Members will get to
experience the Planetarium with its state-of-the art fulldome digital projection system, wander through the
exhibits and view the stars.
Kid’s Party Central

Climb a 45 ft. jungle gym! Scale the rock climbing wall
& bounce in the inflatable bounce houses to your
heart’s content.

BGCCSC Olympics @ Lake Sonoma
Thursday, July 9, 8:30-2:00 ($10)
Bring home a gold, silver or bronze medal in our third
annual Olympic field day. You will be competing
against other Boy & Girls Club camps in hurdles, shot
put, volleyball, relay races, javelin throws and many
more games.
Cal Skate
Monday, July 13, 9:00-3:45 ($12)
Campers travel to a roller rink and skate to their
heart’s content! (Skate rental included in price)
All Camp Water Day @ Camp Rohnert Park
Thursday, July 23, 10:15-3:20 ($10)
This wild and wacky day will be filled with giant water
slides, slip and slide races, pirates, water balloons and
so much water fun!
Oakland Zoo
Thursday, July 30, 8:00-3:45 ($20)
Waddle like a penguin, climb like a monkey and chill
like hippo at the Oakland Zoo. This field trip goes
behind the scenes with a private 45 minute
presentation on habits and homes of some critters
living in the Zoo.
Snoopy’s Ice
Thursday, August 6, 11:25-3:15 ($12)
Lace up your skates, we’re hitting the ice! Come keep
cool in the summer heat at Snoopy’s Ice rink! (Skate
rental included in price).
*On fieldtrip days, Campers attending the fieldtrip
must arrive at least 30 minutes before the bus
departure time listed, or when camp opens. All
Campers attending the fieldtrip must wear their
orange fieldtrip shirt. Fieldtrip shirts can be purchased
at registration for $5.

It is Camper against Mother Nature! You have only
the resources in front of you. Learn how cave men
survived, build your own shelter, track animals,
and navigate through the wild. Can you survive
Summer Camp?
Week 2: June 15th-19th
Mad Scientist
Do you have a hair brained scheme you’ve been
wanting to try? Can you build a contraption that
can protect an egg from being dropped from 20
feet? Can you out-smart Rube Goldberg? If so,
this is the camp for you!
Week 3: June 22nd-26th
Believe It or Not
What animal lurks in the deepest part of the
ocean? How big were dinosaurs in real life?
Discover extreme species you never thought
could exist. Come to Camp and stretch your
imagination to its limits!

California Adventure
There’s no summer like a California summer! Come see
all the great state of California has to offer as we cruise
the California Coast, adventure through our national
parks, explore the vibrant cities of Sacramento and San
Francisco, and Go Local with our Sonoma County pride!

Take off on an adventure around the world! Learn
about distant cultures, compete in a derby race,
and create amazing flying machines. At the end

Join us on our journey as we experience life
through the eyes of an insect. Dodge the exterminators, crawl like a spider, and join the caterpillar
conga line!
Grab your bathing suit and your sunscreen for a
wet & wild adventure! Soak up the sun, create life
size mer-people, and party it up with pirates in
this week of summer fun!

Galaxy Quest
Showcase your inner artist and participate in active, art-themed games during this extra creative
week at Camp! Campers will pop paint-filled balloons, create human sculptures, as well as many
other visual masterpieces throughout the week.
To infinity and beyond! Join us as we explore
outer space and learn about planets, astronauts &
space aliens. During this week you will make alien slime, launch rockets, and go through Jedi
training! This week is going to be out of this
galaxy!
