FROM THE RELIGIOUS EDUCATION DEPARTMENT...
This Summer we will remodel our RE Room at the School and commence training for all our
catechists. This is truly an exciting time for our parish!
As we look forward, there are a couple of items to share with you:
1) Mark your calendars for our Religious Education Registration for the 2014-2015
school year!
2 June walk-in registrations will be the week of June 23-27, from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
The walk in registrations will be at the Pastoral Center (140 Chestnut Street)
Sunday, June 29, we will have a last chance Registration Fair in the School Auditorium from 9:00
a.m.-3:00 p.m. Join us after or before your Mass to sample our new curriculum and meet some
of our catechists!
(For all new registering students, please bring in verification of baptism.)
Fees for the year:
~Year 1: $65.00 (Registered Parishioner)
$75.00 (Non-parishioner)
~Year 2: $90.00 (Registered Parishioner)
$100.00 (Non-parishioner)
Continuing Education after sacramental year: $40.00

Finally, we are very excited to announce the beginning of a new curriculum in our Religious
Education Department: Finding God! from Loyola Press. Come to our registration Fair Day

BIOETHICS CONFERENCE
Hosted by Archbishop Jose H. Gomez in cooperation with the National
Catholic Bioethics Center of Washington, D.C. Topics include the exploding science of eugenics, the terminology and language of science and
politics, the threat of impeding legislation, issues of public and private
policy, the moral and ethical teaching of the Church, and manipulation of
public perception and opinion. Please join us!

Where: Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels Conference Center
Cost: $40 per person, includes lunch & refreshments (limited number of

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY FLASHBACK DANCE
The Young Adult Ministry of St. Andrew Parish will be having a Flashback (80's & 90's)
Dance on Saturday, June 28 from 7:30 to 11:00 pm. We will be having a DJ with lighting
and fun music to dance to. A photographer will be available with props. Dress your era
and make it a fun evening! We will be selling food and drinks. This fundraiser will be for
future events and learning material.
Dance tickets are $10; $15 at the door.

MINISTERIO DE CUIDADO PASTORAL
A partir de la próxima semana, nuestro Ministerio Pastoral, que lleva comunión a los feligreses
mayores y enfermos, dará la bienvenida a dos nuevas voluntarias que estarán en la oficina cuatro
días a la semana. Estamos muy agradecidos a Beatriz Ortega y a Carmen Rosales que organizarán todos los voluntarios del Cuidado Pastoral, actualizaran nuestros registro, planearan reuniones y para los enfermos y Misas en los hospitales de convalecencia. Si usted es actualmente
