asadaytocelebrateGod’sgreatmercy.Weallstumble,andhaveourdoubtlikeThomas.However,ourlovingGodisalwaystherereadytohelpus,togiveusasmanychancesasweneedtoget
thingsright.AswecontinueourjourneythroughthisEasterseason,letusrejoiceinthegood
newsofsuchalovingGod,andinturnletusrenewoureffortstotreatallotherswiththesame
mercythatGodshowsus.
Intoday’sgospel,tothefrighteneddisciples,whosedenialanddesertionhelpedtoin lictthewoundsthatstill
markedJesus’risenbody,Jesus’words“Peacebewithyou”(Jn20:19-20)bestowedcomfort:“Shalom-Peace!”Then

St.Dismas,alsoknownastherepentantthiefinLuke’sgospel,afterchidingthethiefonJesus’left,turnstoJesusand
asksthismanwhoisnailedtoacross:“Jesus,remembermewhenyoucomeintoyourkingdom.”Dismas,whosename
means“thedyingone”asksonlytoberemembered.Jesusinhisinconceivablemercyreplieswiththegift“youwillbe
withmeinparadise.”Commentingonthispassagefromscripture,St.Ambrosesaid“TheLordalwaysgrantsmore

I believe the quote above, from one of our new parents, to be a true statement. Here are some reasons why.
We have a unique kindergarten program that integrates multiple levels of learners into a one or two year process. Teachers use differentiated instruction and combined instruction in a program that exposes our children to leadership skill building, music, athletics, lab science,
computers, all while preparing our youngest students to excel in first grade reading and math.
We have a comprehensive music program that is unparalleled in Riverside. Our entire student body is comprised of competent musicians
in training, beginning with chorus in primary grades, followed by beginning band in fourth grade, and advanced band in Junior High. We
put on two concerts annually and we will be performing at Knott’s Berry Farm on April 29th.
We have the best middle school laboratory science program around. Our 6th, 7th and 8th grade students experience weekly labs in halfclass sizes creating a fully experiential program so our students enter high school (hopefully Notre Dame or Aquinas) with three years of
full laboratory experience.
Add to this a complete I.C.S.L. sports program (volleyball, football, basketball, soccer, and track), decathlon, Spanish, computer lab,
clubs, tutoring, and library. Our community is small and very integrated which gives great support to both our students and parents. And
this is all done in our safe, secure and Christian environment.
In short, we offer a comprehensive curriculum enhanced by special programs that truly develop our children, body, mind and spirit.
