Así, al cierre de 2009 el volumen de negocio total de los establecimientos se situó en 2.565 millones de euros, lo que supuso un 2% más que en 2008, año en el que creció en torno a un 4%. La facturación de las hamburgueserías se cifró en 1.240 millones de euros en 2009, registrando el comportamiento más dinámico, al crecer un 5,1% respecto a 2008. Por su parte, el segmento de pizzerías experimentó un descenso del 4%, hasta alcanzar un valor de 570 millones de euros.
