Installation site electrical requirements - The
lift shall be connected to a dedicated 110-230
V electrical circuit that is protected by a 30mA
residual current device.
Lighting requirements - The stairway where the
lift is installed shall have a minimum of 50 lux lighting in the areas where the lift will be boarded.

Safety features
• There are sensitive edges on the top and bottom of the carriage, and the front, back and underside of
the footrest. If any of these edges touches an obstruction the lift will halt immediately and the armrest
LED indicator light will turn orange. The lift may only be driven away from the obstruction.
• An interlock on the swivel seat prevents the lift from being operated unless the seat is in its normal,
locked position. The remote controls are disabled for a 15 second period after the armrest control is
used.
• In the event of an emergency the Pinnacle and all its powered features can be stopped by pressing the
emergency stop button. The emergency stop button is the red button located underneath the front of
the armrest of the control arm.

• The red “ON/OFF” switch is located on top of the carriage. This switch is normally left in the “ON” position (I).
This switch can be turned “OFF” if you do not expect to use the lift for an extended period of time. Ensure
that the lift is in the charging position.
• The main “UP/DOWN” control switch is located at the front of one armrest. Use this switch for normal
operation of the lift while in a seated in a secure position.
• There are “UP” and “DOWN” buttons on the remote call/send hand control units.
• There is a three-colour LED indicator light on one armrest.
• Units are equipped with a key switch located at the back of one armrest. Turn this off and remove the key
when you want to ensure the lift cannot be used in your absence.

Do not carry pets or children on your
lap while riding the stairlift. The lift is
designed for use by only one person at
a time.
Stairlift operation
Step 1: To turn the stairlift on, press the red “ON/OFF” switch located on the top of the carriage to the “ON”
position (I) and ensure that the key switch (if equipped) is “ON.” When the lift is turned “ON” a green light on
the armrest will indicate that the lift is ready for use.
Step 2: To aid entry to the chair, the armrest on the entry side may be raised. When positioning yourself on
the seat at the upper landing, ensure the seat is fully swivelled and locked in position for safety. The seat may
be swivelled by depressing the swivel release handle on either side of the seat.
WARNING
Never attempt to operate the lift while
standing up. Always sit in the centre
of the seat with the seat belt fastened
around your waist.
Step 3: Ensure that you are securely seated and armrests are in down position before operating the lift. To
operate the lift, continuously press the hand control switch on the side in which you wish to travel.

Step 4: If you release the control switch the lift will stop. Continue to press the switch or button all the
way to the landing. The lift will gently stop at the appropriate, pre-set point.
Step 5: To safely exit the lift, support yourself by the armrests, rise and step off the footrest. At the upper
landing, ensure that the seat is fully swivelled and locked before rising. If you do not intend to use the lift
again immediately the seat and armrests may be folded up to minimise obstruction to people walking on
the stairs.

When transferring in or out of the seat
use the armrests to assist you. Ensure
the seat is securely latched before
transferring in or out.
Step 6: To operate the lift remotely, continuously press the appropriate up or down button on the call/
send hand control unit. These hand control units are usually attached to a wall at the upper and lower
landings of the staircase. Like all infra-red devices, the signal may be interrupted if the hand control unit is
not in the line of sight of the stairlift. If this happens the lift may temporarily stop but restart immediately,
as long as the hand remote is pressed continuously.
If you are operating the lift remotely on behalf of another person, please ensure that they are securely
seated with the seat belt engaged. Always keep the person in line of sight before commencing
movement.
NOTE: An amber light and single beep indicate that the lift has touched an obstruction and may only
be operated in the opposite direction of the obstruction. Clear the obstruction before proceeding.
If the light flashes orange and the lift beeps intermittently, the lift has been stopped away from the top
or bottom charging stations. Please move the lift to either end of the rail to ensure the batteries remain
fully charged.
The LED indicator light will turn red if there is a service issue. Turn the “ON/OFF” switch to the “OFF”
position (O) and then back to the “ON” position (I). The lights should sequence red-amber-green. If the
light does not return to green, please call your service representative.

Battery charger
The stairlift should be kept fully charged at all times. When the lift stops at an upper or lower landing it will
charge automatically. The power supply should be left plugged in at all times and the lift may be left on
charge indefinitely, as the charger is intuitive and will not overcharge.
Note: The stairlift must be turned on to enable
battery charging. Batteries will not charge when the
lift is turned off.
Care and cleaning
The lift should require no technical maintenance to continue to operate at full capability. There is no
grease or other lubricants used in the drive system, and no adjustments should be required. However,
the lift should be inspected annually. The lift and rail should be kept clean. Dust can build up on surfaces,
and soiling may occur. The upholstery and carriage can be cleaned with a damp, soapy cloth followed by
a clean, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleansers as these can damage the finish. If heavy soiling occurs,
clean by scrubbing lightly with a soft brush.
Manual override operation
If your lift fails to operate and the operator does not wish to dismount on the stairway, another person
may use the manual override tool to lower (or raise) the lift to a landing. However please follow the
instructions on the bottom safety flap of the lift and turn the lift off. Insert the manual override tool into
the hole in the lower safety flap until it engages the motor shaft, and turn in the direction indicated.

market today. It is our hope this lift will provide the independence you want in your day-to-day life.

Troubleshooting
• If your lift does not operate, diagnose the problem by observing the LED indicator light on the armrest
and listening to the beeps emitted:
• A green light indicates the lift is in operating mode and may be moved in either direction.
• An amber light indicates the lift is touching an obstruction and may be operated only in the direction
away from the obstruction.
• A flashing amber light, accompanied by an intermittent beep for 30 seconds indicates the lift has been
stopped away from the charge station. This repeats every 5 minutes until the lift is returned to the
charge station. It is recommended that the lift be immediately moved to a charge station (located at
either end of the rail).
• A red light indicates a problem that may require a service call. If the light remains red after attempting
to reset the lift by turning it “OFF” and then “ON” again, please contact your local dealer or Harmar and
describe the problem. A local technician will need to be contacted to repair the problem if it cannot be
repaired over the phone.

RJ Dongen, Netherlands. Harmar Mobility, LLC warrants to the original purchaser of a Pinnacle Stairlift manufactured by us to be free from defects in
material and workmanship for a 3-year period on all component parts of the lift and 10-year period on the gear rack.
Exceptions to this Limited Warranty are:
Batteries are warranted for a 1-year period
Damage resulting from improper installation or operation
Negligence, alterations, abuse or misuse of the equipment
Fire, flood, acts of God
Torn or dirty upholstery
Shipping damage
Parts used that are not supplied by Harmar Mobility, LLC
Labour fees for installation work or service calls
No warranty is extended, express or implied, whether of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, after expiration of 3 years from the date
of original purchase of the unit. Harmar Mobility, LLC and its dealers shall not be liable for any consequential, special or incidental damages arising
out of the purchase or use of the unit or resulting from the breach of this Limited Warranty, or any implied warranty. The limit of liability of Harmar
Mobility, LLC and its dealer hereunder shall be the unit's purchase price. Some areas do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty
lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or legal remedies, so these above limitations may not apply to you. All
warranty claims must be reported to the dealer from whom the lift was purchased as they have responsibility for handling your warranty claim.
The dealer is to contact the Service Department of Harmar Mobility, LLC and provide the serial number of the lift along with a description of the
events leading to the warranty claim. Dealers may charge for labour, service, travel, or other associated costs to make repairs, and such charges
are not covered by this Limited Warranty. It is permissible to have any repairs or replacement work done as a result of any defects in material
and workmanship by someone other than the dealer under this Limited Warranty. However, the Limited Warranty does not cover any charges or
expenses assessed by any such other person or company performing such repairs or replacement work. All parts used to replace defective materials
must be genuine Harmar Mobility, LLC parts to be covered by this Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you
may have other rights which vary from country to country.

Características de seguridad
• Hay bordes sensibles en las partes superior e inferior de la silla y en las partes delantera, trasera e
inferior del apoyapié. Si cualquiera de estos bordes toca una obstrucción, el elevador se detiene
inmediatamente y la luz indicadora LED en el apoyabrazos se ilumina de color naranja. El elevador sólo
se puede conducir alejándose de la obstrucción.
• Un interbloqueo en el asiento giratorio impide que el elevador funcione a menos que el asiento esté en
su posición normal y bloqueado. Los controles remotos se desactivan por 15 segundos después de que
se utiliza el control del apoyabrazos.
• En caso de una emergencia, la unidad Pinnacle y todas las características que funcionan con
alimentación eléctrica se pueden detener oprimiendo el botón de parada de emergencia. El botón de
parada de emergencia es el botón rojo situado debajo de la parte delantera del apoyabrazos del brazo
de control.

• El interruptor rojo de ACTIVACIÓN/DESACTIVACIÓN se encuentra en la parte superior del carro. Este
interruptor debe permanecer normalmente en la posición ACTIVADA (I). Este interruptor se puede
DESACTIVAR si no se va a utilizar el elevador durante un período prolongado. Asegúrese que el elevador
esté en la posición de carga.
• El interruptor de control principal de movimiento HACIA ARRIBA/HACIA ABAJO se encuentra en la parte
delantera de uno de los apoyabrazos. Utilice este interruptor para el funcionamiento normal del elevador
mientras permanece sentado en una posición segura.
• Hay botones de movimiento HACIA ARRIBA y HACIA ABAJO en las unidades de control remoto manual para
llamar/enviar la unidad.
• Hay una luz indicadora LED de tres colores en uno de los apoyabrazos.
• Las unidades están equipadas con un interruptor con llave ubicado en la parte trasera de uno de los
apoyabrazos. Desactívelo y retire la llave si desea asegurarse que el elevador no sea utilizado en su ausencia.

elevador está diseñado para ser utilizado
por una sola persona a la vez.
Funcionamiento del elevador para escalera
Paso 1: Para activar el elevador para escalera, oprima el interruptor rojo de ACTIVACIÓN/DESACTIVACIÓN
ubicado en la parte superior del carro a la posición ACTIVADA (I) y asegúrese que el interruptor con llave (en
su caso) esté ACTIVADO. Cuando el elevador esté ACTIVADO, una luz verde en el apoyabrazos indica que el
elevador está listo para ser utilizado.
Paso 2: Para facilitar la entrada a la silla, el apoyabrazos en el lado de entrada se puede elevar. Cuando se
siente en el asiento en la zona superior al final de la escalera, asegúrese que el asiento esté totalmente girado
y bloqueado en posición para su seguridad. El asiento se puede girar oprimiendo la manija de liberación de
giro en cualquier lado de la silla.
ADVERTENCIA
Nunca intente utilizar el elevador en posición
de pie. Siéntese siempre en el centro del
asiento, con el cinturón de seguridad
abrochado alrededor de la cintura.
Paso 3: Asegúrese de estar sentado en forma segura y que los apoyabrazos estén bajados antes de utilizar
el elevador. Para hacer funcionar el elevador, oprima continuamente el interruptor de control manual en el
sentido en el que quiere desplazarse.

Paso 4: Si suelta el interruptor de control, el elevador se detendrá. Continúe oprimiendo el interruptor
o el botón hasta llegar al final o al inicio de la escalera. El elevador se detiene suavemente en el punto
preajustado correspondiente.

Paso 5: Para salir de forma segura del elevador, apóyese en los apoyabrazos, levántese y retire baje los pies
del apoyapié. En la zona superior al final de la escalera, asegúrese que el asiento esté totalmente girado y
bloqueado antes de levantarse. Si no va a utilizar el elevador de nuevo inmediatamente, puede plegar el
asiento y los apoyabrazos para que la obstrucción para las personas que usan la escalera sea mínima.
Al sentarse o pararse del asiento, utilice los
apoyabrazos como ayuda. Asegúrese que
el asiento esté bloqueado en forma segura
antes de sentarse o de pararse.
Paso 6: Para hacer funcionar el elevador de forma remota, oprima continuamente el botón de
desplazamiento hacia arriba o hacia abajo en la unidad de control manual para llamar y enviar la unidad.
Estas unidades de control manual por lo general se encuentran fijadas a una pared en la zona superior,
al final de la escalera, y en la zona inferior, al inicio de la escalera. Como todo dispositivo infrarrojo, la
señal puede ser interrumpida si la unidad de control manual no está en la línea de vista del elevador
para escalera. Si esto ocurre, el elevador puede detenerse temporalmente, pero vuelve a funcionar de
inmediato, siempre y cuando se oprima continuamente el control remoto manual.
Si hace funcionar el elevador de forma remota para otra persona, asegúrese que esté sentada de forma
segura, con el cinturón de seguridad abrochado. Siempre mantenga a la persona en su línea de vista antes
de iniciar el movimiento.
NOTA: Una luz ámbar y un tono audible indican que el elevador ha encontrado una obstrucción y sólo se
puede hacer funcionar en el sentido opuesto a la obstrucción. Retire la obstrucción antes de proceder.
Si la luz destella de color naranja y el elevador emite tonos intermitentes, el elevador se ha detenido
fuera de la posición de carga superior o inferior. Mueva el elevador hacia cualquier extremo del riel para
asegurarse que las baterías permanecen completamente cargadas.
La luz indicadora LED se enciende de color rojo si hay un problema que requiere servicio. Coloque el
interruptor de ACTIVACIÓN/DESACTIVACIÓN en la posición DESACTIVADA (O) y luego de nuevo en la
posición ACTIVADA (I). Las luces deben encenderse en una secuencia rojo-ámbar-verde. Si la luz no
regresa a verde, comuníquese con su representante de servicio.

El elevador para escalera debe mantenerse completamente cargado en todo momento. Cuando el elevador
se detiene en la zona superior al final de la escalera o en la zona inferior al inicio de la escalera, se cargará
automáticamente. La fuente de alimentación se debe dejar conectada en todo momento y el elevador se
puede dejar cargando por tiempo indefinido, ya que el cargador es intuitivo y no sobrecarga el elevador.
Nota: El elevador para escalera debe estar activado
para permitir que se carguen las baterías. Las
baterías no se cargan cuando el elevador está
desactivado.
Cuidado y limpieza
El elevador no debería requerir mantenimiento técnico para seguir funcionando a su capacidad plena. No
se usa grasa ni otros lubricantes en el sistema impulsor y no debería requerir ningún ajuste. Sin embargo, el
elevador se debe inspeccionar anualmente. El elevador y el riel deben mantenerse limpios. El polvo puede
acumularse en las superficies y producir suciedad. La tapicería y el carro se pueden limpiar con un paño
húmedo enjabonado y luego con un paño húmedo limpio. No utilice limpiadores abrasivos, ya que pueden
dañar el acabado. Si se acumula mucha suciedad, limpie frotando suavemente con un cepillo suave.
Funcionamiento de anulación manual
Si el elevador deja de funcionar y la persona no desea bajarse en la mitad de la escalera, otra persona puede
utilizar la herramienta de anulación manual para bajar (o subir) el elevador hasta el inicio o el final de la
escalera. Sin embargo, siga las instrucciones que aparecen en la tapa de seguridad inferior del elevador y
desactive el elevador. Inserte la herramienta de anulación manual en el agujero de la tapa de seguridad
inferior hasta que se engrane en el eje del motor, y gírela en la dirección indicada.

Localización de averías
• Si el elevador no funciona, haga un diagnóstico del problema observando la luz indicadora LED en el
apoyabrazos y escuchando los tonos emitidos:
• Una luz verde indica que el elevador está en modo de funcionamiento y se puede desplazar en cualquier
sentido.
• Una luz ámbar indica que el elevador encontró una obstrucción y sólo se puede hacer funcionar en el
sentido opuesto a la obstrucción.
• Una luz ámbar intermitente, acompañada de un tono intermitente durante 30 segundos, indica que el
elevador se ha detenido fuera de la posición de carga. Esto se repite cada 5 minutos hasta que el elevador
regrese a la posición de carga. Se recomienda desplazar inmediatamente el elevador a una de las
posiciones de carga (ubicadas en cada extremo del riel).
• Una luz roja indica un problema que puede requerir una llamada de servicio. Si la luz permanece roja
después de intentar la reposición del elevador desactivándolo y activándolo de nuevo, comuníquese con el
concesionario local o con Harmar y describa el problema. Comuníquese con un técnico local para reparar el
problema en caso de que no pueda ser reparado por teléfono.

Caratteristiche di sicurezza
• Il montascale è dotato di bordi sensibili nella parte superiore e inferiore del carrello motore nonché nella
parte anteriore, nella parte posteriore e nel lato inferiore del poggiapiedi. Quando un bordo sensibile
entra in contatto con un ostacolo, il montascale si arresta immediatamente e la spia LED presente sul
bracciolo si illumina in colore arancione. In tal caso il montascale può essere unicamente spostato in
direzione opposta rispetto all'ostacolo.
• Sul sedile girevole è presente un interblocco atto a interdire l'azionamento del montascale se il sedile
non è sistemato nella normale posizione bloccata. Successivamente all'impiego del comando presente
sul bracciolo, le funzioni dei telecomandi vengono disabilitate per 15 secondi.
• In caso di emergenza è possibile arrestare il montascale Pinnacle e tutte le funzioni motorizzate
premendo il pulsante di arresto di emergenza, vale a dire il pulsante rosso ubicato sotto la parte
anteriore del bracciolo in cui è alloggiato il pulsante di comando.

• L'interruttore di accensione/spegnimento, di colore rosso, è ubicato nella parte superiore del carrello
motore. L'interruttore viene di norma mantenuto nella posizione di accensione (I). Può essere tuttavia
portato nella posizione di spegnimento in previsione di periodi di prolungata inattività del montascale.
Verificare che il montascale sia sistemato nella postazione di ricarica.
• Il pulsante principale di comando salita/discesa è ubicato nella parte frontale di un bracciolo e viene
impiegato per il normale funzionamento del montascale con occupante sistemato in posizione sicura.
• I comandi di salita e di discesa possono essere inoltre impartiti utilizzando i corrispondenti pulsanti sui
telecomandi di richiamo/rinvio al piano.
• Su uno dei braccioli è presente una spia LED a tre colori.

• L'unità è dotata di interruttore a chiave ubicato sul retro di uno dei braccioli. Portare l'interruttore nella
posizione di disattivazione e rimuovere la chiave se si desidera impedire l'uso del montascale durante la
propria assenza.
Evitare di tenere in braccio animali
domestici o bambini durante il
trasporto sul montascale. Il montascale
è progettato per il trasporto di una sola
persona alla volta.
Uso del montascale
Fase 1: per accendere il montascale, portare nella posizione di accensione (I) l'interruttore di accensione/
spegnimento, di colore rosso, ubicato nella parte superiore del carrello motore; verificare che l'interruttore a
chiave (se presente) si trovi nella posizione di attivazione. All'accensione del montascale la spia presente sul
bracciolo si illumina in colore verde, per indicare che l'unità è pronta per l'uso.
Fase 2: per facilitare la salita sulla poltroncina, è possibile alzare il bracciolo sul lato corrispondente. Nel salire
sulla poltroncina in cima alle scale, verificare che il sedile sia completamente ruotato e bloccato in posizione
sicura. Per ruotare il sedile, è necessario premere le apposite leve di sblocco presenti su ciascun lato del sedile
stesso.
AVVERTENZA
Evitare di azionare il montascale stando
in piedi. Sedersi sempre al centro del
sedile e allacciare la cintura di sicurezza
attorno alla vita.
Fase 3: prima di azionare il montascale, accertarsi di essere seduti in maniera sicura e di aver abbassato i
braccioli. Per azionare il montascale, mantenere costantemente premuto il pulsante di comando manuale
nel senso corrispondente alla direzione di spostamento desiderata.

Uso del montascale (segue)
Fase 4: rilasciando il pulsante di comando, il montascale si arresta. Mantenere il pulsante costantemente
premuto fino all'arrivo in cima o in fondo alle scale. Il montascale si arresta dolcemente nel punto
appositamente prestabilito.
Fase 5: per scendere dal montascale in sicurezza, alzarsi in piedi appoggiandosi ai braccioli e scendere
dal poggiapiedi. In cima alle scale, assicurarsi che il sedile sia completamente ruotato e bloccato prima di
alzarsi in piedi. Qualora non sia immediatamente necessario impiegare di nuovo il montascale, è possibile
ripiegare il sedile e i braccioli per ridurre al minimo l'ingombro nel vano scale.

alzarsi verificare che il sedile sia
adeguatamente bloccato in posizione.
Fase 6: per comandare il montascale a distanza, mantenere costantemente premuto il comando di salita o
il comando di discesa sul telecomando di richiamo/rinvio al piano. I telecomandi vengono comunemente
appesi a una parete in cima e in fondo alle scale. Come per tutti i dispositivi a infrarossi, il segnale
potrebbe interrompersi laddove il telecomando non sia in linea ottica con il montascale. In tal caso, il
montascale potrebbe arrestarsi momentaneamente, ma continuando a premere il telecomando riprende il
funzionamento.
Se si aziona il montascale a distanza per conto dell'occupante, è necessario accertarsi che quest'ultimo sia
seduto in posizione sicura con la cintura di sicurezza allacciata. Prima di azionare il montascale, verificare
che l'occupante si trovi nel proprio campo visivo.
NOTA: la presenza della spia illuminata in colore ambra e l'emissione di un unico segnale acustico
indicano che il montascale è entrato in contatto con un ostacolo; in tal caso potrà essere spostato
unicamente in direzione opposta rispetto all'ostacolo. Eliminare l'ostacolo prima di usare nuovamente il
montascale.
La presenza della spia illuminata in colore arancione e lampeggiante e l'emissione di un segnale acustico
intermittente indicano che il montascale è stato arrestato lontano dalle postazioni di ricarica superiore o
inferiore. Per mantenere completamente carica la batteria, prestare attenzione a spostare il montascale
fino a raggiungere una delle estremità del binario.
La spia LED si illumina in colore rosso in presenza di un malfunzionamento. Portare l'interruttore di
accensione/spegnimento nella posizione di spegnimento (O); quindi, riportarlo nella posizione di
accensione (I). La spia deve illuminarsi con la seguente sequenza di colori: rosso-ambra-verde. Se la spia
non torna a illuminarsi in verde, è necessario contattare il servizio di assistenza.

Caricabatterie
La batteria del montascale deve essere sempre mantenuta pienamente carica. La batteria si ricarica
automaticamente dopo l'arresto del montascale in cima o in fondo alle scale. La spina di alimentazione deve
essere lasciata sempre collegata e il montascale può essere tenuto costantemente sotto carica; la presenza
del caricabatterie intuitivo esclude infatti il sovraccarico della batteria.
Nota: per consentire alla batteria di ricaricarsi, è
necessario che il montascale sia acceso. La batteria
non si ricarica quando il montascale è spento.
Manutenzione e pulizia
Sistema di manovra manuale
Qualora il montascale si arresti e l'occupante non desideri scendere a metà scala, un'altra persona può
servirsi dell'apposito attrezzo di manovra manuale per spostare il montascale in discesa (o in salita) in modo
da portarlo in fondo (o in cima) alle scale. A tale scopo è necessario attenersi alle istruzioni riportate sulla
protezione inferiore nonché spegnere il montascale. Inserire l'attrezzo di manovra manuale nel foro presente
nella protezione inferiore in modo da innestarlo nell'albero del motore; quindi, ruotarlo nella direzione
indicata..

Il montascale è progettato per assicurare il funzionamento ottimale senza necessità di manutenzione tecnica.
Nel sistema di trasmissione è escluso l'uso di grasso o altri lubrificanti; non è inoltre prevista la necessità di
eventuali regolazioni. È tuttavia necessario ispezionare il montascale una volta all'anno. Mantenere puliti il
montascale e il binario. Sulle superfici possono accumularsi la polvere e lo sporco. Il rivestimento e il carrello
motore possono essere puliti utilizzando un panno inumidito e insaponato, ripassando quindi con un panno
inumidito pulito. Per non danneggiare le finiture, evitare l'uso di detergenti abrasivi. In caso di sporco più
consistente, pulire sfregando gentilmente con una spazzola morbida.

In caso di interventi di riparazione o di manutenzione in garanzia, i dati riportati sopra sono necessari al
rivenditore per richiedere informazioni presso lo stabilimento di produzione o per ordinare i necessari
ricambi.
Risoluzione dei problemi
• In caso di guasto del montascale, diagnosticare il problema osservando la spia LED presente sul
bracciolo e rilevando i segnali acustici emessi.
• La presenza della spia illuminata in colore verde indica che il montascale è funzionante e può essere
spostato in entrambe le direzioni.
• La presenza della spia illuminata in colore ambra indica che il montascale è in contatto con un ostacolo e
può essere spostato unicamente in direzione opposta all'ostacolo.
• La presenza della spia illuminata in colore ambra e lampeggiante, accompagnata dall'emissione di un
segnale acustico intermittente per 30 secondi, indica che il montascale è stato arrestato lontano dalla
postazione di ricarica. Tale segnalazione si ripete ogni 5 minuti, finché il montascale non viene riportato
presso la postazione di ricarica. È consigliabile spostare immediatamente il montascale fino ad una delle
postazioni di ricarica (ubicate in corrispondenza di ciascuna estremità del binario).
• La presenza della spia illuminata in colore rosso indica un problema che potrebbe richiedere l'intervento
del servizio di assistenza. Se la spia si illumina nuovamente in rosso dopo aver tentato di ripristinare
il montascale spegnendolo e riaccendendolo, è necessario segnalare il problema contattando il
rivenditore locale o Harmar. Per problemi non risolvibili telefonicamente è necessario l'intervento di un
tecnico in loco.

Dispositifs de sécurité
• Le haut et le bas du chariot, ainsi que l'avant, l'arrière et le dessous du repose-pieds, sont munis de
bords « sensibles » de sécurité. Si l'un quelconque de ces bords entre en contact avec un obstacle,
l'élévateur s'arrête immédiatement et le témoin à LED de l'accoudoir devient orange. La seule possibilité
est alors d'éloigner l'élévateur de l'obstacle.
• Un dispositif de verrouillage sur le siège pivotant empêche d'utiliser l'élévateur si le siège ne se trouve
pas dans sa position verrouillée normale. Les commandes à distance sont désactivées pendant 15
secondes après l'utilisation de la commande d'accoudoir.
• En cas d'urgence, le Pinnacle et toutes ses fonctions motorisées peuvent être arrêtés en appuyant
sur le bouton d'arrêt d'urgence. Il s'agit du bouton rouge situé sous l'avant de l'accoudoir du bras de
commande.

Commandes
• L'interrupteur « MARCHE/ARRÊT » rouge se trouve sur le haut du chariot. Il est normalement laissé en
position « MARCHE » (I). Il peut être mis sur « ARRÊT » si vous ne comptez pas utiliser l'élévateur pendant
une longue période. Assurez-vous que l'élévateur est en position de charge.
• L'interrupteur principal de commande « MONTÉE/DESCENTE » se trouve à l'avant d'un accoudoir.
Utilisez-le pour faire fonctionner normalement l'élévateur une fois que vous êtes en position assise en
toute sécurité.
• Les unités de commande manuelle d'appel et de renvoi à distance comportent des boutons « MONTÉE »
et « DESCENTE ».
• Un témoin à LED tricolore se trouve sur un accoudoir.
• Les unités sont équipées d'un interrupteur à clé situé à l'arrière d'un accoudoir. Mettez-le en position
d'arrêt et retirez la clé lorsque vous voulez vous assurer que l'élévateur ne pourra pas être utilisé en votre
absence.
AVERTISSEMENT
Ne portez pas d'animaux ou d'enfants
sur vos genoux lorsque vous utilisez le
monte-escalier. L'élévateur est conçu
pour être utilisé par une seule personne
à la fois.

Utilisation du monte-escalier
Étape 1 : Pour mettre le monte-escalier en marche, appuyez sur l'interrupteur « MARCHE/ARRÊT » rouge
situé sur le haut du chariot de sorte à le placer en position « MARCHE » (I) et assurez-vous que l'interrupteur
à clé (le cas échéant) est en position « MARCHE ». Lorsque l'élévateur est mis en « MARCHE », un témoin vert
sur l'accoudoir indique qu'il est prêt à l'emploi.
Étape 2 : Pour pouvoir s'asseoir plus facilement sur le fauteuil, l'accoudoir du côté de l'accès peut être
relevé. Lorsque vous vous placez sur le siège au niveau du palier supérieur, assurez-vous qu'il a pivoté à
fond et qu'il est verrouillé en position de sorte à garantir votre sécurité. Vous pouvez faire pivoter le siège
en appuyant sur le levier de déblocage du pivot d'un côté ou de l'autre du siège.
AVERTISSEMENT
N'essayez jamais d'utiliser l'élévateur
alors que vous êtes debout. Asseyezvous toujours au centre du siège avec la
ceinture de sécurité bouclée autour de
la taille.
Étape 3 : Assurez-vous que vous êtes assis en toute sécurité et que les accoudoirs sont abaissés avant
d'utiliser l'élévateur. Pour vous servir de l'élévateur, appuyez sans relâcher sur l'interrupteur de commande
manuelle du côté vers lequel vous souhaitez vous déplacer.

Gardez les pieds au centre du reposepieds lorsque vous montez et descendez
l'escalier. Ne laissez jamais les pieds
ballants hors du repose-pieds lorsque
vous utilisez l'élévateur.

Étape 4 : Si vous relâchez l'interrupteur de commande, l'élévateur s'arrêtera. Continuez à appuyer sur
l'interrupteur ou le bouton jusqu'à l'arrivée sur le palier. L'élévateur s'arrêtera en douceur au point prédéfini
approprié.
Étape 5 : Pour quitter l'élévateur en toute sécurité, appuyez-vous sur les accoudoirs, levez-vous et descendez
du repose-pieds. Au niveau du palier supérieur, assurez-vous que le siège a pivoté à fond et qu'il est verrouillé
avant de vous lever. Si vous ne comptez pas utiliser de nouveau l'élévateur dans l'immédiat, le siège et les
accoudoirs peuvent être repliés vers le haut afin de minimiser l'encombrement pour les personnes qui
empruntent l'escalier.
AVERTISSEMENT
Pour entrer ou sortir du siège, servezvous des accoudoirs pour vous aider.
Assurez-vous que le siège est bien
verrouillé avant d'y entrer ou d'en sortir.
Étape 6 : Pour faire fonctionner l'élévateur à distance, appuyez sans relâcher sur le bouton de montée ou
de descente approprié de l'unité de commande manuelle d'appel et de renvoi. Ces unités de commande
manuelle sont généralement fixées à un mur au niveau des paliers supérieur et inférieur de l'escalier. Comme
pour tous les dispositifs à infrarouge, le signal peut être interrompu si l'unité de commande manuelle n'est
pas dans la ligne de mire du monte-escalier. Dans ce cas, l'élévateur peut s'arrêter temporairement mais
redémarrer immédiatement, tant que l'opérateur appuie sans relâcher sur la télécommande manuelle.
NOTE : Un témoin orange accompagné d'un seul bip indique que l'élévateur est entré en contact avec
un obstacle et qu'il ne peut être utilisé que dans le sens opposé à l'obstacle. Éliminez l'obstacle avant de
continuer.
Si le témoin clignote en orange et que l'élévateur émet des bips par intermittence, ce dernier s'est arrêté à
l'écart des postes de charge supérieur ou inférieur. Veuillez déplacer l'élévateur jusqu'à l'une ou l'autre des
extrémités du rail pour vous assurer que les batteries restent complètement chargées.
Le témoin à LED devient rouge s'il y a un problème d'entretien. Mettez l'interrupteur « MARCHE/ARRÊT » en
position « ARRÊT » (O) puis de nouveau en position « MARCHE » (I). Le témoin doit devenir tour à tour rouge,
orange puis vert. S'il ne redevient pas vert, veuillez appeler votre technicien d'entretien.

Chargeur de batteries
Le monte-escalier doit rester complètement chargé en permanence. Lorsque l'élévateur s'arrête au niveau
d'un palier supérieur ou inférieur, il se chargera automatiquement. L'alimentation doit demeurer branchée
en permanence et l'élévateur peut être laissé en charge indéfiniment, car le chargeur est intuitif et ne
provoquera pas de surcharge.
Note : Le monte-escalier doit être mis en marche
pour activer la charge des batteries. Les batteries
ne se chargeront pas lorsque l'élévateur est mis à
l'arrêt.
Soins et nettoyage
FRANÇAIS
L'élévateur ne devrait avoir besoin d'aucun entretien technique pour continuer à fonctionner à pleine
capacité. Le système d'entraînement n'utilise aucune graisse ni aucun autre lubrifiant, et aucun réglage ne
devrait être nécessaire. Toutefois, l'élévateur doit être inspecté tous les ans. L'élévateur et le rail doivent être
maintenus propres. La poussière peut s'accumuler sur les surfaces, et des souillures peuvent se produire.
Le siège et le chariot peuvent être nettoyés avec un chiffon humide savonneux, puis un chiffon humide
propre. N'utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage abrasifs car ils peuvent abîmer le fini. Si des souillures
importantes se produisent, nettoyez en frottant légèrement avec une brosse souple.
Utilisation de la commande manuelle
Si votre élévateur ne fonctionne pas et que l'opérateur ne souhaite pas en descendre sur l'escalier, une
autre personne peut utiliser l'outil de commande manuelle pour faire descendre (ou monter) l'élévateur
jusqu'à un palier. Veuillez cependant suivre les instructions qui se trouvent sur le volet de la sécurité
inférieure de l'élévateur et mettez ce dernier à l'arrêt. Introduisez l'outil de commande manuelle dans le
trou du volet de la sécurité inférieure jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche sur l'arbre de moteur, et tournez dans le
sens indiqué.

des renseignements ci-dessus pour recevoir les informations de l'usine ou commander des pièces pour cet
élévateur.
Dépannage
• Un témoin vert indique que l'élévateur est en mode de fonctionnement et peut être déplacé dans les deux
sens.
• Un témoin orange indique que l'élévateur entre en contact avec un obstacle et qu'il ne peut être utilisé que
dans le sens opposé à l'obstacle.
• Un témoin orange clignotant accompagné d'un bip intermittent pendant 30 secondes indique que
l'élévateur s'est arrêté à l'écart du poste de charge. Cela se répète toutes les 5 minutes jusqu'à ce que
l'élévateur soit ramené au poste de charge. Il est recommandé de déplacer immédiatement l'élévateur
jusqu'à un poste de charge (situé à l'une ou l'autre des extrémités du rail).
• Un témoin rouge indique un problème qui peut nécessiter l'intervention d'un technicien d'entretien. Si
le témoin demeure rouge après avoir essayé de réinitialiser l'élévateur en le mettant sur « ARRÊT » puis
de nouveau sur « MARCHE », veuillez contacter votre revendeur local ou Harmar et décrire le problème.
Il faudra faire appel à un technicien des environs pour résoudre le problème s'il ne peut pas l'être par
téléphone.

• Die oberen und unteren Kanten der Antriebseinheit sowie die Vorderseite, Rückseite und Unterseite der
Fußstütze sind druckempfindlich. Wenn eine dieser Kanten auf ein Hindernis trifft, hält der Lift sofort
an und die LED-Anzeige an der Armlehne leuchtet orange auf. Der Lift lässt nur vom Hindernis weg
bewegen.
• Eine Verriegelung am Schwenksitz verhindert die Bedienung des Lifts, wenn sich der Sitz nicht in seiner
normalen, arretierten Stellung befindet. Wenn das Bedienelement an der Armlehne benutzt wurde, sind
die Fernbedienungen 15 Sekunden lang deaktiviert.
• Bei einem Notfall lassen sich der Pinnacle-Lift sowie sämtliche Funktionen durch Drücken des Not-AusKnopfs abschalten. Der Not-Aus-Knopf ist der rote Knopf vorne an der Unterseite der Armlehne mit der
Steuerung.

Bedienungselemente
• Der rote EIN/AUS-Schalter befindet sich oben auf der Antriebseinheit. Dieser Schalter befindet sich
normalerweise in der Stellung EIN (I). Soll der Lift über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzt werden, kann
dieser Schalter in die Stellung AUS geschaltet werden. Sicherstellen, dass sich der Lift in der Ladestellung
befindet.
• Der Hauptbedienungsschalter für „AUFWÄRTS/ABWÄRTS“ befindet sich an der Vorderseite einer der
Armlehnen. Diesen Schalter für den normalen Betrieb des Lifts betätigen, während Sie sicher angeschnallt
sitzen.
• „AUFWÄRTS/ABWÄRTS“-Tasten befinden sich auch auf den Fern-/Handbedienungseinheiten.
• An einer der Armlehnen befindet sich eine dreifarbige LED-Anzeige.
• Die Treppenlifte verfügen über einen Schlüsselschalter an der Rückseite einer der Armlehnen. Den Lift damit
ausschalten und den Schlüssel abziehen, wenn der Lift in Ihrer Abwesenheit nicht benutzt werden soll.
ACHTUNG
Führen Sie keine Kinder oder Haustiere
auf dem Schoß mit, während Sie den
Treppenlift benutzen. Der Lift ist dafür
ausgelegt, nur jeweils eine Person zu
transportieren.
Bedienung des Treppenlifts
Schritt 1: Zum Einschalten des Treppenlifts den roten „EIN-/AUS“-Schalter oben auf der Antriebseinheit
auf „EIN“ (I) stellen. Sicherstellen, dass der Schlüsselschalter (falls vorhanden) auf „EIN“ gestellt ist. Nach
Einschalten des Lifts zeigt eine grüne Leuchte auf der Armlehne an, dass der Lift betriebsbereit ist.
Bedienen Sie den Lift niemals im Stehen.
Sitzen Sie stets in der Mitte des Sitzes und
legen Sie den Hüft-Sicherheitsgurt an.
ACHTUNG
Schritt 3: Vor dem Bedienen des Lifts sicherstellen, dass Sie sicher sitzen und die Armlehnen herunter
geklappt sind. Zum Bedienen des Lifts den Handbedienungsschalter auf derjenigen Seite gedrückt halten,
auf die Sie sich zu bewegen möchten.

Schritt 2: Um leichter auf dem Stuhl Platz zu nehmen, lässt sich die Armlehne auf der Einstiegsseite anheben.
Beim Einsteigen am oberen Treppenpodest darauf achten, dass der Sitz aus Sicherheitsgründen vollständig
geschwenkt und arretiert ist. Der Sitz lässt sich durch Herunterdrücken des Schwenkfreigabegriffs auf beiden
Seiten des Sitzes schwenken.

BEDIENUNG
Bedienung des Treppenlifts (Forts.)
Schritt 4: Wird der Bedienungsschalter losgelassen, so hält der Lift an. Den Schalter oder die Taste so lange
gedrückt halten, bis das Treppenpodest erreicht wird. Der Lift hält sanft an der richtigen, voreingestellten
Stelle an.
Schritt 5: Stützen Sie sich zum sicheren Aussteigen aus dem Lift auf den Armlehnen ab, stehen Sie auf und
steigen Sie von der Fußstütze herunter. Am oberen Treppenpodest sicherstellen, dass der Sitz vollständig
geschwenkt und verriegelt ist. Falls Sie nicht vorhaben, den Lift gleich wieder zu benutzen, können Sie Sitz
und Armlehnen hochklappen, damit er anderen Personen, die auf der Treppe gehen, nicht im Weg ist.
ACHTUNG
Nehmen Sie zum Ein- oder Aussteigen
die Armlehnen zur Hilfe. Achten Sie
darauf, dass der Sitz sicher arretiert ist,
bevor Sie ein- oder aussteigen.
Schritt 6: Zur Fernbedienung des Lifts die jeweilige Aufwärts/Abwärts-Taste an der Fern-/
Handbedienungseinheit drücken. Diese Handbedienungseinheiten sind normalerweise an der Wand
am oberen und unteren Treppenpodest angebracht. Wie bei allen Infrarotgeräten kann das Signal
unterbrochen werden, wenn die Handbedienungseinheit keine Sichtverbindung mit dem Treppenlift
hat. In einem solchen Fall hält der Lift u. U. kurz an, startet aber sofort wieder, solange die Fern-/
Handbedienungseinheit weiterhin gedrückt gehalten wird.
DEUTSCH
Falls Sie den Lift für eine andere Person bedienen, bitte sicherstellen, dass diese Person mit angelegtem
Sicherheitsgurt auf dem Stuhl sitzt. Stets eine Sichtverbindung zu der Person aufrecht halten, bevor eine
Bewegung veranlasst wird.
HINWEIS: Eine gelbe Anzeigeleuchte und ein einzelner Piepton zeigen an, dass der Lift auf ein Hindernis
gestoßen ist und sich nur in entgegengesetzter Richtung bewegen lässt. Das Hindernis beseitigen, bevor
Sie weiterfahren.
Wenn die Anzeigeleuchte orange blinkt und ein unterbrochener Piepton ertönt, hat der Lift vor der
unteren oder oberen Ladestation angehalten. Den Lift an eines der Schienenenden bewegen, damit die
Batterien vollständig aufgeladen werden.
Die LED-Anzeige leuchtet rot auf, wenn ein Wartungsproblem vorliegt. Den EIN/AUS-Schalter auf
„AUS“ (O) und dann wieder auf „EIN“ (I) schalten. Die Anzeige sollte in der Reihenfolge Rot-Gelb-Grün
aufleuchten. Bitte den Kundendienstvertreter anrufen, falls die Anzeige nicht Grün aufleuchtet.

Batterieladegerät
Der Treppenlift muss stets vollständig geladen sein. Wenn der Lift am oberen oder unteren Treppenpodest
anhält, lädt er sich automatisch auf. Das Netzteil muss ständig ans Stromnetz angeschlossen sein und der Lift
kann sich unbegrenzt im Ladezustand befinden. Das Ladegerät ist intuitiv und überlädt sich nicht.
Hinweis: Zum Aufladen der Batterie muss der
Treppenlift eingeschaltet sein. Bei ausgeschaltetem
Treppenlift werden die Batterien nicht aufgeladen.
Reinigung und Pflege
Der Lift sollte keine technischen Wartungsmaßnahmen erfordern, um voll einsatzbereit zu sein. Das
Antriebssystem benötigt keinerlei Schmierfett oder sonstige Schmierstoffe und keine Einstellungen sollten
erforderlich sein. Der Lift sollte jedoch einer jährlichen Inspektion unterzogen werden. Lift und Schiene sind
sauber zu halten. Staub kann sich auf Oberflächen ansammeln und es kann zu Verschmutzung kommen.
Polster und Antriebseinheit können mit einem mit Seifenlauge angefeuchteten Lappen und etwas Spülmittel
gereinigt und mit einem sauberen, trockenen Tuch abgewischt werden. Keine Scheuermittel verwenden. Das
könnte den Lack beschädigen. Bei starker Verschmutzung leicht mit einer weichen Bürste reinigen.
Manuelle Übersteuerung
Falls der Lift nicht mehr funktioniert und der Benutzer nicht auf der Treppe aussteigen möchte, kann eine

Informationen über den Besitzer
Wir danken Ihnen für den Kauf eines Pinnacle™ Treppenlifts von Harmar. Er ist einer der störungsfreiesten
Treppenlifte auf dem Markt. Wir hoffen, dass Ihnen der Lift die Unabhängigkeit bietet, die Sie sich für Ihren
Alltag wünschen.

Behebung von Störungen
• Falls Ihr Lift nicht funktioniert, können Sie das Problem anhand der LED-Anzeige an der Armlehne und
durch Anhören der Pieptöne erkennen:
• Leuchtet die Anzeige grün auf, befindet sich der Lift im Betriebsmodus und kann in beide Richtungen
bewegt werden.

• Leuchtet die Anzeige gelb auf, berührt der Lift ein Hindernis und lässt sich nur vom Hindernis weg
bewegen.
• Blinkt die Anzeige gelb und ein unterbrochener Piepton ist 30 Sekunden lang zu hören, dann hat der Lift
vor der Ladestation angehalten. Dies wiederholt sich alle 5 Minuten, bis der Lift zur Ladestation zurück
bewegt wird. Der Lift sollte unverzüglich zu einer Ladestation (an einem der Schienenenden) bewegt
werden.
• Leuchtet die Anzeige rot auf, sollte das Problem vom Kundendienst behoben werden. Wenn versucht
wurde, den Lift durch Aus- und Einschalten zurückzusetzen, und die Anzeige leuchtet weiterhin rot auf,
dann wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Händler oder an Harmar und beschreiben Sie das Problem. Wenn
sich das Problem nicht telefonisch beheben lässt, muss ein Techniker kontaktiert werden.

mittelbare oder Folgeschäden im Zusammenhang mit dem Kauf oder der Verwendung der Anlage oder aufgrund einer Verletzung dieser
beschränkten oder einer stillschweigenden Garantie. Die Haftung von Harmar Mobility LLC und des Händlers beschränkt sich auf den Kaufpreis
der Anlage. An manchen Orten gelten keine Beschränkungen für stillschweigende Garantien oder für den Ausschluss oder die Beschränkung für
mittelbare oder Folgeschäden oder Rechtsbehelfe. Deshalb gelten die oben genannten Beschränkungen u. U. nicht für Sie. Alle Garantieansprüche

Beschreibung der Ereignisse einreichen, die dem Garantieanspruch zugrunde liegen. Händler können Lohn-, Kundendienst-, Reise- sowie sonstige
Kosten für Reparaturen in Rechnung stellen. Diese Kosten sind nicht von dieser beschränkten Garantie abgedeckt. Reparaturen oder Ersatzarbeiten
aufgrund von Material- und Herstellungsfehlern dürfen im Rahmen der beschränkten Garantie auch von jemand anderem als dem Händler
durchgeführt werden. Jedoch erstreckt sich die beschränkte Garantie nicht auf die Kosten, die von einem Dritten oder einer Firma berechnet
werden, die diese Reparaturen oder Ersatzarbeiten ausgeführt haben. Alle für defekte Teile verwendeten Ersatzteile müssen Originalersatzteile von

• Een vergrendeling aan de draaibare stoel voorkomt dat de lift wordt bediend tenzij de stoel in de normale,
vergrendelde stand staat. De afstandsbedieningen worden 15 seconden uitgeschakeld wanneer het
bedieningselement van de armleuning wordt gebruikt.
• In noodgevallen kan de Pinnacle met alle elektrische functies ervan worden gestopt wanneer op de
noodstopknop wordt gedrukt. De noodstopknop is de rode knop die zich onder aan de voorzijde van de
armleuning van de bedieningsarm bevindt.

• Er zijn gevoelige randen aan de boven- en onderzijde van de slede en aan de voor-, achter- en onderkant
van de voetensteun. Zodra een van deze randen een blokkering raakt, stopt de lift onmiddellijk en wordt
het LED-indicatielampje van de armleuning oranje. De lift kan nu alleen van de blokkering af worden
verplaatst.

BEDIENING
Bedieningselementen
• De rode AAN/UIT-schakelaar bevindt zich boven op de slede. Deze schakelaar blijft gewoonlijk in de
AAN-stand (I) staan. Deze schakelaar kan worden uitgeschakeld als u verwacht dat u de lift gedurende
langere tijd niet gaat gebruiken. Zorg ervoor dat de lift in de oplaadstand staat.
• De hoofdbedieningsschakelaar voor OMHOOG/OMLAAG bevindt zich aan de voorzijde van één
armleuning. Gebruik deze schakelaar voor normaalbedrijf van de lift wanneer u veilig op de stoel hebt
plaatsgenomen.
• Er zijn knoppen voor OMHOOG en OMLAAG op de afstandsbediening voor ophalen/wegsturen.
• Er is een LED-indicatielampje met drie kleuren op één van de armleuningen.
• Het apparaat is uitgerust met een sleutelschakelaar die zich aan de achterzijde van één armleuning
bevindt. Zet deze uit en verwijder de sleutel als u ervoor wilt zorgen dat de lift niet wordt gebruikt
tijdens uw afwezigheid.
WAARSCHUWING
Vervoer geen huisdieren of kinderen
op uw schoot tijdens gebruik van
de traplift. De lift is ontworpen voor
gebruik door maar één persoon
tegelijkertijd.
Bediening van traplift
Stap 1: Om de traplift in te schakelen, drukt u de rode AAN/UIT-schakelaar, die zich boven op de slede
bevindt, in de AAN-stand (I) en zorgt u ervoor dat de sleutelschakelaar (indien aanwezig) is ingeschakeld.
Wanneer de lift is ingeschakeld, geeft een groen lampje op de armleuning aan dat de lift gebruiksklaar is.
Stap 2: Om toegang tot de stoel te vergemakkelijken, kan de armleuning aan de opstapkant worden
opgeklapt. Wanneer u bij de bovenverdieping op de stoel gaat zitten, let er dan om veiligheidsredenen
op dat de stoel volledig gedraaid en op zijn plaats vergrendeld is. De stoel kan worden gedraaid als u de
ontgrendelingshendel voor draaien indrukt aan een zijde van de stoel.

Probeer nooit de lift te bedienen
wanneer u rechtop staat. Ga altijd in

vastgemaakte veiligheidsgordel rond
uw middel.
Stap 3: Zorg ervoor dat u goed stabiel zit en dat de armleuningen omlaag staan voordat de lift wordt
bediend. Voor bediening van de lift blijft u de handbedieningsschakelaar indrukken aan de richtingszijde
waarin u wilt worden verplaatst.

Bediening van traplift (vervolg)
Stap 4: Als u de bedieningsschakelaar loslaat, stopt de lift. Blijf de schakelaar of knop indrukken tot u bent
gearriveerd. De lift stopt zachtjes op het vooraf ingestelde desbetreffende punt.
Stap 5: Gebruik om veilig de lift te verlaten de armleuningen als ondersteuning, ga dan staan en stap
van de voetensteun af. Let er bij de bovenverdieping op dat de stoel volledig gedraaid en vergrendeld is,
voordat u gaat staan. Als u niet van plan bent om de lift onmiddellijk weer te gebruiken, kunnen zitting en
armleuningen worden opgeklapt om belemmering voor personen die de trap gebruiken te minimaliseren.
WAARSCHUWING
Gebruik bij het plaatsnemen op of
verlaten van de stoel de armleuningen
als hulp. Zorg ervoor dat de stoel stevig
vergrendeld is voordat u erop gaat
zitten of deze verlaat.
Stap 6: Om de lift op afstand te bedienen, drukt u continu op de toepasselijke knop omhoog of omlaag op
de afstandsbediening voor ophalen/wegsturen. Deze afstandsbedieningen worden gewoonlijk op een wand
bevestigd bij de boven- of benedenverdieping naast de trap. Evenals andere infraroodapparatuur kan het
signaal worden onderbroken als de afstandsbediening geen zichtlijn heeft met de traplift. Als dit optreedt,
kan de lift even tot stilstand komen en onmiddellijk weer in beweging komen zolang de afstandsbediening
continu wordt ingedrukt.
Als u de lift op afstand bedient ten behoeve van een andere persoon, let er dan op dat deze goed zit en dat
de veiligheidsgordel is vastgemaakt. Houd altijd zicht op de persoon voordat met de verplaatsing wordt
begonnen.
OPMERKING: Een oranje lampje en een enkele pieptoon geven aan dat de lift een blokkering heeft geraakt
en alleen kan worden bediend in de andere richting dan die van de blokkering. Verwijder de blokkering
voordat u verdergaat.
Als het oranje lampje knippert en de pieptoon onderbroken klinkt, is de lift gestopt op enige afstand
van het bovenste of onderste laadstation. Verplaats de lift naar een van de uiteinden van de rail om te
garanderen dat de accu's volledig opgeladen blijven.
NEDERLANDS
Het LED-indicatielampje wordt rood als een onderhoudsprobleem zich voordoet. Draai de AAN/
UIT-schakelaar in de UIT-stand (O) en vervolgens weer in de AAN-stand (I). Het lampje knippert in de
volgorde rood-oranje-groen. Als het lampje niet terug groen wordt, neem dan contact op met de
servicevertegenwoordiger.

Onderhoud
Acculader
De traplift moet te allen tijde volledig opgeladen blijven. Wanneer de lift bij de boven- of benedenverdieping
stopt, wordt de accu automatisch opgeladen. De voeding moet altijd aangesloten blijven en de lift kan
onbeperkt worden opgeladen, omdat de lader intuïtief is en de accu niet kan overladen.
Opmerking: Voor het opladen van de accu's moet
de traplift zijn ingeschakeld. Accu's wordt niet
opgeladen wanneer de lift is uitgeschakeld.
Behandeling en reiniging
De lift behoeft geen technisch onderhoud om op volledig vermogen te blijven werken. In het
aandrijfsysteem wordt geen smeervet of ander smeermiddel gebruikt en er hoeft niets te worden afgesteld.
De lift moet echter wel jaarlijks worden gecontroleerd. De lift en rail moeten schoon worden gehouden. Er
kan zich stof op de oppervlakken ophopen en er kan vervuiling optreden. De bekleding en slede kunnen
worden gereinigd met een vochtige doek met wat reinigingsmiddel en daarna met een schone vochtige
doek. Gebruik geen schuurmiddelen omdat deze de afwerking kunnen aantasten. Als er ernstige vervuiling is
ontstaan, verwijder dit dan door zacht te schrobben met een zuigkwast/zachte borstel.
Gebruik van handbediende overbrugging
Als de lift weigert te werken en de gebruiker niet de trap op wenst te stappen, kan een andere persoon
de handbediende overbruggingssleutel gebruiken om de lift omlaag (of omhoog) naar een verdieping te
brengen. Volg echter de instructies op de onderste veiligheidsklep van de lift en schakel de lift uit. Steek
de handbediende overbruggingssleutel in het gat in de onderste veiligheidsklep tot deze aangrijpt op de
motoras en draai in de aangegeven richting.

Problemen oplossen
• Als de lift niet werkt, onderzoek het probleem dan door het LED-indicatielampje op de armleuning te
observeren en naar de gegenereerde pieptonen te luisteren:
• Een groen lampje geeft aan dat de lift in bedrijfsmodus is en in een van beide richtingen mag worden
verplaatst.
• Een oranje lampje geeft aan dat de lift tegen een blokkering ligt en alleen mag worden bediend in de
andere richting dan die van de blokkering.
• Een oranje lampje dat knippert, in combinatie met een onderbroken pieptoon van 30 seconden, geeft aan
dat de lift is gestopt op enige afstand van het laadstation. Dit wordt elke 5 minuten herhaalt tot de lift is
teruggekeerd naar het laadstation. Het wordt aanbevolen om de lift onmiddellijk naar een laadstation (aan
weerszijden van de rail) te verplaatsen.

• Een rood lampje duidt op een probleem waarvoor een aanvraag voor onderhoud nodig kan zijn. Als het
lampje rood blijft na een poging om de lift te resetten door deze in de UIT-stand en daarna in de AANstand te zetten, neem dan contact op met de lokale dealer of met Harmar en geef een beschrijving van het
probleem. Er moet contact worden opgenomen met een lokale monteur om het probleem te repareren als
dit niet via de telefoon is gelukt.

van fabricage- en materiaalfouten gedurende een periode van 3 jaar voor wat betreft alle samenstellende delen van de lift en gedurende een
periode van 10 jaar voor wat betreft de wormwiel/tandheugelconstructie.
Uitzonderingen op deze Beperkte Garantie zijn:
Accu's worden gegarandeerd voor een periode van 1 jaar
Beschadiging als gevolg van verkeerde installatie of bediening
Nalatigheid, wijzigingen, verkeerd gebruikt of misbruik van
de apparatuur
Brand, overstroming, calamiteiten
Gescheurde of vuile bekleding
Transportschade
Gebruik van onderdelen die niet door Harmar Mobility, LLC
zijn geleverd
Loonkosten voor installatiewerk of onderhoudsbezoeken
Er geldt geen garantie, expliciet of impliciet, voor verhandelbaarheid of geschiktheid voor een bepaald doel en na afloop van 3 jaar vanaf de
datum van de oorspronkelijke aanschaf van de eenheid. Harmar Mobility, LLC en haar dealers zijn niet aansprakelijk voor enige gevolg-, speciale
of incidentele schade tengevolge van de aankoop of het gebruik van de eenheid of als gevolg van de schending van deze Beperkte Garantie of
enige impliciete garantie. De beperking van aansprakelijkheid van Harmar Mobility, LLC en haar dealer onder deze garantie is de aankoopprijs
van de eenheid. In sommige gebieden zijn er geen beperkingen aan de lengte van een impliciete garantie of voor wat betreft uitsluiting of
beperking van gevolg- of incidentele schade of rechtsmiddelen, zodat deze bovenstaande beperkingen mogelijk niet voor u gelden. Alle
garantieclaims moeten aan de dealer waarbij de lift is gekocht, worden gemeld, omdat deze de verantwoordelijkheid heeft voor afhandeling
van uw garantieclaim. De dealer dient contact op te nemen met de serviceafdeling van Harmar Mobility, LLC en het serienummer van de lift te
verstrekken samen met een beschrijving van de gebeurtenissen die tot de garantieclaim hebben geleid. Dealers kunnen werk-, onderhouds-,
reis- of andere bijbehorende kosten voor de reparatie in rekening brengen en zulke kosten worden niet door deze Beperkte Garantie gedekt.
Het is toegestaan om reparaties of vervangingswerk te laten uitvoeren als gevolg van fabricage- en materiaalfouten door een andere persoon
dan de dealer onder deze Beperkte Garantie. De Beperkte Garantie dekt echter niet de beoordeling van die kosten of uitgaven door deze andere
persoon of dit bedrijf die dit soort reparaties of vervangingswerk uitvoert. Alle onderdelen waarmee de defecte materialen worden vervangen,
moeten originele Harmar Mobility, LLC-onderdelen zijn om te worden gedekt door deze Beperkte Garantie. Deze Beperkte Garantie biedt u
specifieke juridische rechten en u hebt mogelijk ook andere rechten die van land tot land kunnen verschillen.
