THROAT BLESSING
Next Sunday Feb. 7th, after Mass will be the "Blessing of Throats".
There will be the opportunity to have your throats blessed. This is
an ancient tradition, based on the life of St. Blaise, a bishop and
martyr who is considered the patron saint of ailments of the throat
and neck. His feast day is February 3rd.

La Novena de San José ya empezo y continuará todos los Sábados

Alma Galvez, community health worker, is in the Holy Rosary
church basement every Friday from 10 am – 12 noon. She can help
with health-related questions, information on low-cost clinics, dieting, filling out forms, translating documents, checking blood pressure, sugar levels, and much more.
Alma Gálvez, promotora de salud, estará en el sótano de la igle-
sia Santo Rosario todos los viernes a las 10 am - 12 mediodía. Ella
puede ayudar con preguntas con la salud, información sobre las
clínicas de bajo costo, dieta, llenar formas, traducción de documentos, la presión arterial, nivel de azúcar en la sangre, y mucho más.
CAMINANDO CON JESÚS

BENDICIÓN DE GARGANTAS
Domingo 7 de febrero, después de la Misas será la " Bendición de
las gargantas" . habrá la oportunidad de tener su garganta bendecida. Esta es una antigua tradición, basada en la vida de San Blas,
obispo y mártir quien es considerado el santo patrono de las dolencias de la garganta y el cuello. Su fiesta es el 3 de febrero.

Habrá una Misa en español este martes 2 de febrero a las
7:00pm para celebrar la Presentación del Señor (Candelária).

On February 2nd is the "Presentation Day of the Lord, Candlemas
Day". Ther e will be a Spanish Mass this Tuesday at 7:00 pm. in
Altar Rosary Society is sponsoring a Baby Shower for Life Care
the Church. Bring your infant Jesus and a couple of candles to have
