SYNOPSIS
AVIÓN, the absent village
Synopsis
english
Avion (it means airplane in Spanish) is a set of villages
scattered among the mountains in the past marked by poverty
and mass exodus. Now Avion is also synonymous of economic
triumph of Galician emigration to America. Most young people
had to leave one day their land in search of a better future.
Many of them found it in Mexico and now return with the
mission accomplished. But behind that appearance of success,
after the luxury cars and mansions erected on the ruins of the
past, hides the pain. A constant pain of goodbyes, broken
families and a deep sense of nostalgia that seems endless.
Story Line
The effects of migration in a Spanish village that lost
generations of young people for decades.
