VBS is Almost here!
Summer is just around the corner so that means VBS is approaching and
registration has begun!. VBS is the week of June 20 to 24, from 9:30 AM to
Noon. Forms are available in the Narthex, online, PSR office, or Parish Office. There is a dropbox in the Narthex to return completed forms.
We are still in need to fill various volunteer opportunities for the week.
Positions include teachers, aides, craft helpers, refreshment helpers, music
helpers and storytelling helpers, and are in CRITICAL NEED of a nursery coordinator and helpers. Please contact

become a part of the VBS team!
VBS Craft Team Needs Your Help!!! Please save empty egg cartons for an upcoming VBS project. There are plastic bins in the Narthex where your donation of empty
egg cartons may be left.
Mother’s Circle
is a ministry for moms of the parish with young children. We meet weekly for playdates

food and lodging. The miracle of the feeding of the
five thousand is Jesus’ powerful reminder that when
we share our gifs in His name there is always more than enough!

friends for some good, summer fun! Some events require

Ball-Up Wednesdays All Ballers—Let’s GO! 6 hours
of real ball time, score board, refs, 10 minute games, as
two winning teams compete for final prize. Spectators
welcome!
Summer Surprise Last year’s Summer Surprises
were the best!! We had a Swing dance competition in
June and Open Mic Night with the Mobile Mission
Band in July. Wonder what we will do this year? Only
Lisa and a few Core Members know. Come find out,
you won’t want to miss it!
Mission Trip—Catholic Heart Work Camp Jaime
Roberts from Mobile Mission and St. Luke’s parish has
7 openings on her trip to Catholic Heart, June 19-25.
First come, first serve. Cost is $345. Contact Lisa for

Movie Night—God’s Not Dead Join us in Marist Hall
for a movie, pizza, ice cream and coffee bar.
LTA—Life Teen Association If you have a heart for

new Inquiry class on Sundays at 10:15 AM in the Adult
Education Room for anyone who is interested in learning

Prayer and Praise, a charismatic prayer meeting,
meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday at 7:00 PM in the
Sugar Hill House. There is singing, glory and praise,
scripture passages for sharing, personal witnesses,

Adult Ministry and RCIA Coordinator Position
Saint Joseph is seeking a full-time Adult Ministry and
RCIA Coordinator for our active parish. This position
reports to the pastor and collaborates with other ministry coordinators in outreach to and in the formation of
all adults. The development and implementation of parish-wide evangelization and discipleship programming
is needed. Qualified candidates should have adult ministry leadership and RCIA experience, excellent written
and verbal communication skills, exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, organizational skills,
a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Pastoral
Ministry, Theology, or Religious Studies (or equivalent)
and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint. Applicant must be a practicing
Catholic in communion with the Roman Catholic
Church. The position requires some evening and weekend hours depending upon ministry needs. Salary commensurate with experience. Interested candidates

Facilities Manager Position
General Overview of Responsibilities:
—Manage and direct all maintenance and repair of parish buildings, grounds and equipment. Provide firsthand input and direction regarding parish facility needs
and requirements.
—Position requires education and experience in construction, building, maintenance, and management.
—Must be able to develop, schedule, and implement
projects including vendor bidding, selection, and oversight.
—Skills required include a working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, computing HVAC systems, carpentry,
and plumbing.
—Must be able to read blueprints and have working
knowledge of Excel, Paradox, Word, WordPerfect, Powerpoint, and Publisher, Parish Soft Database; and accounting information systems.
—Must have ability to lead and direct people assigned
to the facility function in their duties.
—Must have tact, confidentiality, high integrity, flexibility, and a team-oriented management style.

hambre en abundancia, mientras seguimos en nuestro peregrinaje hacia el banquete Celestial. Este Ano de Misericordia, estamos llamados a ofrecernos unidos a Cristo. Jesus pide “… ser
generosos con todos sabiendo que también Dios dispensa sobre nosotros
sus benevolencia con magnanimidad.”

Hoy es un día de fiesta para nuestra Iglesia, y así como Isabel, nuestro ser salta de gozo al recordar la visitacion de la
Virgen Maria, bendita entre las mujeres. Maria, la primera
discípula, aquella que en su vientre ha llevado a Jesus, enfrentando a toda una sociedad que podía juzgarla, ella llena
de gozo sale de camino a llevar el mensaje de Dios y su Misericordia, que se renovara de manera constante de generacion en generacion.
