This program promotes a message of acceptance, respect and inclusion despite physical or cognitive differences. Group discussions and hands on activities help to create a meaningful learning experience for the students. Each grade level focuses on a specific topic ranging from hearing and visual impairments to learning impairments. Everybody Counts is about getting people to realize that despite physical or cognitive differences, each one of us is the same in our desires to have friends, be accepted, and included. The program instills a respect for others and will give students a chance to "walk in someone else's shoes". If you could volunteer just a little bit of your time, whatever you can, you will find that Everybody Counts is a unique and rewarding experience to be a part of. The lessons are already planned out by grade level, and volunteers are needed to hand out supplies and assist with activities. The classes are approximately one hour long, so any time you can give is greatly appreciated! Support our School at our CASINO PARTY Do you have an in-home business? Do you want to spread the word?
