warranty does not apply to damage, heat-induced coloration changes, scratching or alteration due to

10. Insert stem from battery compartment into top of umbrella.

from the factory. The batteries are located
inside the battery compartment.

fully charged, place the power switch to
the on "l" position.

7. Install new batteries in proper direction,
reference polarity (+/-) markings as shown
in Figure 7 for correct placement.

raise umbrella to desired height. Turn crank
handle clockwise to open the umbrella.

The LED’s installed in the solar umbrella
can be replaced. Use replacement LED
and follow instructions below.

1. Set the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.

counter clockwise to close the solar umbrella.

3. Lift the umbrella fabric just enough to uncover the bad LED.

5. Hold bad LED and gently pull outward to remove.

6. The LED has two leads, one shorter then the other. Align the longest lead with the
anode (+) and the shortest one with the cathode ( - ). Then insert new LED into the
terminal stem until it tightens.

3. Place the fully assembled solar umbrella
in full sun, away from streetlights or other light sources where it will receive direct
sunlight for at least 8 hours per day.

NOTE: The number of hours light is illuminated is directly proportional to the number of hours
of sunlight it receives. The solar panels cannot recharge the batteries if light is obstructed.

7. Insert the LED terminal stem back into the umbrella rib. Reassemble the umbrella cover.

1. Gently clean solar panels and LED's with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasives or chemicals to
clean solar panels. Remove dust and debris using a soft cloth or duster.

2. Rinse umbrella with clear clean water. If necessary, use gentle fabric cleaner, rated safe
for polyester fabrics.
