at 2 PM ll 3, at the corner of Redmond and Alexander. We will gather on the Northeast
corner. Signs will be provided. You are simply asked to hold the sign and pray as cars
passed by. The responses may shock you. Please join me in being a witness for life.

Our Parish is HAPPY to introduce level I
of Catechism of the Good Shepherd
W
hat is Catechesis of the
Good Shepherd CGS?
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori-based
approach to the religious formation of children, rooted in Sacred Scripture, Liturgy, and respect for the child’s rich relationship with God. Central to CGS is the atrium, a room containing beautiful
materials that focus the child’s attention on key scripture passages or liturgical
moments. After an introduction by the catechist, the children are invited to
work with a material on their own to continue their meditation. Because children learn by using their hands, working with materials allows them to enter
more deeply into meditation, nurturing their relationship with God.

2015-2016 Session Information:
Level I: English Classes on Sundays from 9:00am-10:15am (Ages 3-5 or Preschool through Kindergarten) Classes will be held in the Atrium (Room 5).
Spanish Classes on Thursdays from 7:00pm-8:15pm.
Registration Information:
We will be taking registrations next Tues, Sept. 22 from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Note: There is going to be limited space for CGS classes. We are planning
on opening more Atriums (classes) in the near future. If classes get FULL for
the 2015-2016 school year, they will be put on a waiting list for next year
2016-2017.

Enlighted and be merciful to those who fail to love, and give each of us
the wisdom and peace that we need so that all may know your
holy truth about the sacredness of life.
Let freedom be tempered with responsibility, integrity, jus ce and love.
We ask this prayer through Christ our Lord.

PARENTS WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Our Church bathrooms have repeatedly sustained
different kinds of mischievous behavior by our
children, at ALL the Masses. The picture shows the
most destruc ve. In several bathrooms, these
emergency lights were pulled down. The most
common forms are: Stalls being locked from the
inside and the children crawling out and no-one
can come in, toilet paper being hung all around
the stalls, paper products being soaked with soap
and being thrown up to the ceiling to s ck.
PLEASE HELP US OUT. IF YOUR CHILD USES THE BATHROOM DURING THE
MASS, PLEASE AFTER MASS CHECK ON THE CONDITION. WE WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT IN THIS MATTER. Thanks for helping us keep our Bathrooms neat and clean for all the Masses!

Thank you to all the amazing teens who worked so
hard during the summer at My Brother’s Keeper and
the Golden Door. These young people were there two
and three days a week doing whatever needed to be
done. They sorted clothes, swept floors, filled boxes,
carried out food, stocked shelves, unloaded the truck,
etc. The staff and volunteers appreciate your hard
work. It was a pleasure working with you.

Los baños de la Iglesia han sostenido en varias ocasiones diferentes pos de conducta maliciosa por nuestros niños de todas las Misas. Esta foto muestra lo más
destruc vo. Estas luces de emergencia fueron derribadas en varios baños. Las formas más comunes son:
cierran las puertas de los baños con llave y si salen por
abajo y nadie puede entrar, cuelgan papel higiénico de las paredes del baño,
mojan el papel con jabón y lo ran hacia el techo para que se pegue.
