an ongoing Success story
di industrializzazione produttiva. Trudi, partecipa alle prime fiere del
settore come il Salone Internazionale del Giocattolo di Milano e alla
storica International Toy Fair di Norimberga.
In questi anni, i peluche Trudi cominciano a ispirarsi sempre più al
mondo reale degli animali e ad essere sempre meno pupazzi.
La signora Trudi, costretta a letto a causa di un incidente, mette a
frutto la sua instancabile creatività, adattandosi ad una situazione che
permetteva di tagliare e cucire solo piccoli peluche. Sperimenta le
prime “Miniature”.

Trudi company is founded in Tarcento (Udine). The first soft toys were
created for fun, but with a lot of passion, by Mrs. Trudi Müller Patriarca
when, still a teenager, she started to make with needle, thread and
pieces of fabric, cute little animals for herself and for her friends.
Growing up, Trudi maintains her passion and that, which looked like
a fairy tale of other times, turns into a real story of entrepreneurial
success.
Les peluches vont conquérir le marché italien et donner naissance
au “Trudi Style”, symbole de qualité, beauté, innovation et soin des
détails.
L’innovation esthétique due à l’utilisation de nouveaux matériaux très
moelleux par rapport au mohair employé jusque là, s’accompagne
d’une révolution du rembourrage: la paille traditionnelle est remplacée
par la ouate, rendant ainsi la peluche lavable et d’une douceur agréable qui donne envie de la cajoler.
A Tarcento (Udine), viene fondata l’azienda Trudi. I primi peluche furono creati un po’ per gioco, ma con tanta passione, dalla signora Trudi
Müller Patriarca, quando, ancora adolescente cominciò a creare con
ago, filo e pezzetti di stoffa, graziosi animaletti, per sé e per i propri
amici.
Crescendo, Trudi conserva la sua passione ed in poco tempo, quella
che sembrava una fiaba d’altri tempi si trasforma in una vera e propria
storia imprenditoriale di successo.
In Tarcento (Provinz Udine) wird die Firma Trudi gegründet. Die ersten
Plüschtiere wurden ein bisschen aus Spaß, aber mit viel Leidenschaft,
von Frau Trudi Müller Patriarca geschaffen, die schon als junges Mädchen anfing, mit Nadel, Faden und Stoffstücken anmutige Tierchen für
sich und ihre Freunde herzustellen.
Während Trudi wächst, bewahrt es seine Leidenschaft und nach kurzer
Zeit was ein Märchen aus früheren Zeiten schien verwandelt sich, in
eine richtige unternehmerische Erfolgsgeschichte.
La Maison Trudi a été fondée à Tarcento, une petite localité près d’Udine. Madame Trudi Müller Patriarca est encore adolescente lorsqu’elle
commença à créer des petits animaux, tout simplement avec des petits
bouts de tissus, du fil et une aiguille.
En se développant, Trudi conserve sa passion et, en peu de temps,
ce qui semblait un conte de fée se transforme en un véritable succès
d’entreprise.

símbolo de calidad, belleza, innovación y atención a los detalles.
A la innovación estética debida al uso de nuevos materiales extremadamente blandos con respecto a la lana (mohair) usada hasta entonces,
se añade una revolución en el relleno: la tradicional paja se sustituye
por guata, convirtiendo así el peluche en lavable y blando al abrazarlo.

En Tarcento (Udine), se funda la empresa Trudi. Los primeros peluches
fueron creados un poco por juego, pero con mucha pasión, por la señora Trudi Müller Patriarca, cuando, aún adolescente comenzó a crear,
con una aguja, hilo y piezas de tela, graciosos animalitos, para ella
misma y para sus amigos.
Durante su crecimiento, Trudi conserva su pasión y en poco tiempo, lo
que parecía un cuento de hadas de otros tiempos se transforma en una
verdadera y auténtica historia empresarial de éxito.

These are the years of growth. Trudi’s collection is enriched to meet
the requirements of an increasingly demanding market, which causes
the company to continuously renovate its collections and start the
production industrialization process.
The company participates in the first trade fairs, such as the Milan
International Toy Fair and the Nurnberg International Toy Fair.
In these years, Trudi soft toys begin to be inspired by the real world of
animals, being less puppet-like.
Mrs. Trudi, forced to stay in bed because of an accident, continues
to put her tireless creativity to good use, adapting to a situation that
allowed her to cut and sew only small soft toys. She creates the first
“Miniature” characters.

Trudi soft toys conquer the Italian market and the “Trudi Style” is born,
which symbolises high quality, beauty, innovation and attention to the
smallest details.
The aesthetic innovation brought about by the use of new materials
– extremely soft as compared to the mohair used up to that time –
is combined with a revolution in the filling: the traditional straw is
replaced by cotton-wool, thus making the soft toys washable and
extremely huggable.
I peluche conquistano il mercato italiano e nasce il “Trudi Style”,
simbolo di qualità, bellezza, innovazione e attenzione ai dettagli.
All’innovazione estetica dovuta all’utilizzo di nuovi materiali estremamente morbidi rispetto al mohair usato fino ad allora, si accompagna una rivoluzione nell’imbottitura: la tradizionale paglia viene
sostituita con l’ovatta, rendendo così il peluche lavabile e morbido da
abbracciare.

Es sind die Jahre des Wachstums. Die Kollektion Trudi erweitert sich,
um der Nachfrage eines immer anspruchsvolleren und immer schneller
reagierenden Marktes gerecht zu werden, so dass Trudi seine Kollektionen erneuert und mit der Industrialisierung der Produktion beginnt.
Es kommt zu den ersten Messeerfahrungen, mit großem Erfolg für die
Firma Trudi: die Internationalen Spielzeugsalon in Mailand und die
International Toy Fair in Nürnberg.
In diesen Jahren beginnen die Plüschtiere von Trudi, sich immer mehr
an der wirklichen Welt der Tiere zu inspirieren und immer weniger
Puppen zu sein.
Frau Trudi, ans Bett gefesselt wegen eines Unfalls, nutzt dennoch ihre
unermüdliche Kreativität und passt sich an einer Situation an, in der
sie nur kleine Plüschtiere schneiden und nähen konnte. Sie probiert
die ersten “Mini-Tiere” aus.
Die Plüschtiere erobern den italienischen Markt, und es entsteht “Trudi
Style”, Symbol für Qualität, Schönheit, Innovation und Liebe zum
Detail.
Mit der ästhetischen Innovation aufgrund der Verwendung von neuen
extrem weichen Materialien, statt des bis dahin benutzten Mohairs,
geht eine Revolution bei der Polsterung einher: das traditionelle Stroh

Ce sont les années de la croissance. La collection Trudi s’agrandit pour
faire face à la demande d’un marché toujours plus attentif et exigeant,
qui pousse Trudi à renouveler ses collections et à commencer le procédé d’industrialisation.
C’est l’époque des premières expériences aux salons avec la participation au Salon International du Jouet de Milan et à l’International Toy
Fair de Nuremberg.
Pendant ces années, les peluches Trudi commencent à s’inspirer de
plus en plus au monde réel des animaux et à ressembler de moins en
moins à un jouet.
Suite à un accident, Madame Trudi est contrainte de rester au lit. Elle
continue néanmoins à rester active en exploitant son infatigable créativité et en s’adaptant à la situation: couper et coudre uniquement des
petites peluches. Elle s’expérimente avec les premières “Miniatures”.

La señora Trudi, postrada en la cama a causa de un accidente, continua a pesar de eso a exprimir su incansable creatividad, adaptándose
a una situación que les permitía cortar y coser sólo pequeños peluche.

Trudi evolves and becomes a successful brand. From the “Miniature”
characters the “Trudini” and “Mini Trudini” are born, small-sized
collectable soft toys that would become the company’s best sellers and
would open new markets.
At the end of the 1980s thanks to the innovations occurred in the
clothing industry, for the manufacturing of puppets, eco-fur materials
are introduced.
Trudi becomes famous abroad as well. Some Group’s branches are
set up in Germany and Spain. The diversification strategy continues
with the acquisition of Sevi, Europe’s oldest brand of wooden toys
and accessories. Trudi is awarded the UNI EN ISO 9001 certification,
which further proves its top quality standards.
In 1992 the “Sweet Collection” – the smallest soft toys in the world –
are launched in the market: in just 9 cm they faithfully reproduce all
the animals’ characteristics.
In 1996 the Walt Disney Company, draws up a licence agreement with
Trudi for the production and distribution of Disney soft toys on the
whole European market. The collaboration with Warner Bros will also
start very soon.

dell’abbigliamento, vengono introdotti materiali per le pellicce ecologiche che ben si prestano ad essere utilizzati come pelo per un pupazzo.

Ende der 80er Jahre dank der Innovationen in der Textilbranche, wo für
Kunstpelze Materialien eingeführt werden, die sich gut als Fell für ein
Plüschtier eignen.

A la fin des années 80, grâce à l’innovation dans le domaine de
l’habillement, de nouveaux matériaux sont créés pour les fourrures
écologiques qui serviront, par la suite, à la confection des peluches.
Trudi diventa famosa anche all’estero. Nascono le filiali del Gruppo
in Germania e Spagna. La strategia di diversificazione continua con
l’acquisizione di Sevi, il marchio di giochi e accessori in legno più
antico in Europa. Come ulteriore garanzia di qualità, Trudi ottiene la
certificazione UNI EN ISO 9001.
Del 1992 è il lancio sul mercato dei peluche più piccoli del mondo:
le “Sweet Collection”: in soli 9 cm riescono a riprodurre fedelmente le
caratteristiche di tutti gli animali.
Nel 1996 la Walt Disney Company, stipula con Trudi un contratto di licenza per la produzione e distribuzione di peluche Disney per l’intero mercato europeo. A breve inizierà anche la collaborazione con Warner Bros.

Trudi realises it is a strong and well-known brand, able to express
values and emotions. Trudi is no longer just a synonym for soft toys, it
can launch in the market its own licences, which are bound to become
successful lines.
The first Bussi characters are created: tender soft toys characterised by
a heart-shaped wooden pendant, a sweet smile and a loose-jointed body.
In 2006 Trudi acquires Olli Olbot, the brand dedicated to infant care
and to the world of early childhood.
In the mean time the Trudi trade mark licences are born, in order to
strengthen and extend the brand’s potential to other product categories,
with important partners that share the company’s values and philosophy.
Trudi se da cuenta de que es una marca fuerte, con un reconocimiento
importante, capaz de transmitir valores y emociones. Trudi ya no sólo
es sinónimo de peluches, sino que está en grado de lanzar al mercado
sus propias licencias, destinadas a convertirse en líneas de éxito.
Nacen los primeros Bussi: tiernos peluches identificados con un
colgante de madera en forma de corazón, de sonrisa muy dulce y de
cuerpo desgarbado.
En 2006 llega, en la casa Trudi, Olli Olbot, la marca dedicada a la
puericultura ligera y al mundo de la primera infancia.
Nacen las licencias de marca Trudi, para extender y reforzar las potencialidades de la marca a otras categorías de mercancías, con importantes socios que comparten valores y filosofía.

Trudimia, “sweetly yours, tenderly Trudi’s” is born. The company starts
a new adventure in the world of dolls.
To celebrate its 55th anniversary, Trudi creates the Silver Collection:
a limited edition of precious characters, chosen from those that have
made the history of Trudi.
Trudi evoluciona y se convierte en una marca de éxito. A partir de
las “Miniaturas” nacen “Trudini” y “Mini Trudini”: Trudi de tamaño
pequeño, a coleccionar, destinados a convertirse en los best seller de
la colección y a abrir nuevos mercados.
Al final de los años ochenta, gracias a las innovaciones producidas en el
sector de la ropa, como pelo para un muñeco vienen introducidos materiales para las pieles ecológicas que se prestan adecuadamente al uso.
Nasce Trudimia, “dolcemente tua, teneramente Trudi”. Per l’azienda
Trudi inizia una nuova avventura nel mondo delle bambole.
Per celebrare il 55o anno di fondazione dell’azienda, Trudi crea la Silver Collection: un’edizione limitata di pregiati soggetti, scelti tra quelli

Trudi wird auch im Ausland berühmt. Es entstehen Filialen der Gruppe
in Deutschland und Spanien. Die Diversifizierungsstrategie geht weiter
mit der Übernahme von Sevi, der ältesten Handelsmarke für Spielzeug
und Zubehör aus Holz in Europa. Als weitere Qualitätsgarantie erhält
Trudi die Zertifizierung UNI EN ISO 9001.
1992 kommen die kleinsten Plüschtiere der Welt auf den Markt: die

Nascono i primi Bussi: teneri peluche contraddistinti da un ciondolo in
legno a forma di cuore, dal dolcissimo sorriso e dal corpo dinoccolato.
Nel 2006 arriva, in casa Trudi, Olli Olbot, il marchio dedicato alla
puericultura leggera e al mondo della prima infanzia.
Nascono le licenze a marchio Trudi, per estendere e rafforzare le potenzialità del marchio ad altre categorie merceologiche, con importanti

Trudi ist nicht mehr nur Synonym von Plüschtier, sondern in der Lage,
eigene Lizenzen auf den Markt zu bringen, die dazu bestimmt sind,
erfolgreiche Linien zu werden.
Es entstehen die erste Bussi: zärtliche Plüschtiere mit einem Anhänger
aus Holz in Herzform, mit zartem Lächeln und schlaksigem Körper.
2006 kommt Olli Olbot zu Trudi, die Marke für leichte Babyartikel und
die Welt des Kleinkindalters.

Our constant creative development and increasingly advanced technological research have enabled us to offer high quality soft toys and
a refined design. Our creations are made adopting the most precise
production systems in order to ensure our customers’ safety. In order
to be able to closely oversee the quality of our products in 2000 “Trudi
Hong Kong Ltd.” was established.
Un développement créatif constant et une technologie de pointe nous
permettent d’offrir des peluches de qualité élevée au design recherché.
Nos créations sont réalisées selon des systèmes de production extrêmement soignés pour garantir la sécurité de nos clients. Pour contrôler de
très près la qualité de nos produits, en 2000, on as constitu la “Trudi
Hong Kong Ltd.”.
Les prototypes des créations Trudi sont réalisés à la main. Sur la base
de patrons préparés par nos créateurs, ils sont cousus, finis, contrôlés
et brossés artisanalement.
Seules des matières premières de très haute qualité, ignifuges et
atoxiques, sont utilisées. D’autre part, chaque élément, non en tissu,
contenu par les peluches est enfermé dans un sac pour éviter qu’il
n’en sorte.
Tous nos produits sont contrôlés avec un détecteur de métaux de manière à découvrir la présence éventuelle de masses métalliques même
extrêmement petites (1,5 mm) et nous nous adressons à des laboratoires externes afin qu’ils effectuent des tests sur les éléments appliqués,
y compris ceux sur les phtalates et les azocolorants.
Tous les fournisseurs qui travaillent pour Trudi ont signé le Code
Déontologique de l’Entreprise qui interdit l’exploitation des mineurs,
le travail forcé, la discrimination et garantit les droits des travailleurs
ainsi qu’un lieu de travail sain et un salaire conforme aux normes.
The prototypes of the Trudi creations are all hand-made. Based on the
paper patterns prepared by our designers, they are then sewn, finished,
inspected and brushed by hand.
We only use fireproof and non-toxic raw materials of the highest quality.
Each non textile part used inside a soft toy is enclosed in a little fabric
bag to prevent it from coming off.
Controlamos cada producto con un detector de metales, que determina
la eventual presencia de cuerpos metálicos, incluso extremadamente
pequeños (1,5 mm), y nos encomendamos a laboratorios externos para
las pruebas sobre los elementos aplicados, incluidas las pruebas sobre
los ftalatos y azocolorantes.
We check each product with a metal-detector, which identifies the
presence of any metal pieces, even if extremely small (1,5 mm).
Moreover, external laboratories carry out tests on applied parts,
including those on phthalates and azo dyes.
Los proveedores que trabajan para Trudi suscriben el Código Deontológico de la empresa que prohíbe la explotación de los menores, el
trabajo forzado, las discriminaciones y garantiza los derechos de los
trabajadores, un ambiente salubre y un salario conforme a la Ley.
All suppliers who work for Trudi sign the Company’s Ethical Code which
forbids child exploitation, forced labour, discrimination and safeguards
the rights of workers and guarantees a healthy environment and legal
wages.

wir arbeiten für die Tests an den verwendeten Elementen einschließlich
der Tests für Phtalate und Azofarbstoffe mit externen Laboratorien
zusammen.
