Youth Institute Summer 2016
Youth Institute is a FREE technology program that gives high school students the opportunity
to learn the latest technology software, gain 21st century work skills, make new friends and
learn the importance of teamwork as they complete two major programs during the summer:
a magazine and short film.

Youth Institute Verano 2016
Youth Institute es un programa que se enfoca en la tecnología. Este programa es gratis y ofrece
a los estudiantes de preparatoria la oportunidad de aprender los programas de computadora
más reciente y adquirir habilidades de trabajo del siglo 21. Los estudiantes formaran nuevas
amistades y aprenderán la importancia de cómo trabajar con un equipo. Con su equipo, los
participantes tienen que completar dos grandes proyectos durante el verano: una revista y una
película.

IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to utilize the facilities, services and programs of the YMCA (or for my children to so participate) for any purpose, including, but not limited to observation or use of facilities or equipment, or

purpose of such observation, use or participation by the undersigned and such children.
IN FURTHER CONSIDERATION OF BEING PERMITTED TO ENTER THE YMCA FOR ANY PURPOSE INCLUDING, BUT NOT
LIMITED TO OBSERVATION OR USE OF FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT, OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY OFF-SITE PROGRAM

DISCHARGES AND CONVENANTS NOT TO SUE the YMCA and all branches thereof, its directors, officers, employees, and agents (hereinafter referred to as "releasees") from all liability to the undersigned or such children and all his personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin for any loss or damage, and any
claim or demands therefore on account of injury to the person or property or resulting in death of the undersigned or such children whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise while the undersigned or such children is in, upon, or about the premises or any facilities or equipment therein or participating in any program affiliated with the YMCA.
2.
THE UNDERSIGNED HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS the releasees and
each of them from any, loss, liability, damage or cost they may, incur due to the presence of the undersigned or such children in, upon or about the YMCA premises or in any way observing or using any facilities
or equipment of the YMCA or participating in any program affiliated with the YMCA whether caused by the
negligence of the releasees or otherwise.
3.
'I'HE UNDERSIGNED HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR AND RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH
OR PROPERTY DAMAGE to the undersigned or such children due to negligence of releasees or otherwise while
in, about or upon the premises of the YMCA and/or while using the premises or any facilities or equipment
thereon or participating in any program affiliated with the YMCA.
THE UNDERSIGNED further expressly agrees that the foregoing RELEASE WAIVER AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT is
intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the State of California and that if any portion
thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
THE UNDERSIGNED HAS READ AND VOLUNTARILY SIGNS THE RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
AGREEMENT, and further agrees that no oral representations, statements or inducement apart from the foregoing

or lost possessions.
I understand that I may also be suspended or terminated for fighting, threatening,
stealing, disrespecting any staff member’s authority or being disruptive to the
learning environment of the Youth Institute.
I understand that possession of illegal weapons or firearms is immediate grounds
for expulsion.
I understand that I may be terminated for not following any staff member’s
instructions while in the Youth Institute class or at Camp Fox.
I understand that there is a dress code. No suggestive low cut halter-tops. No
clothing with suggestive or derogatory logos. Casual dress is allowed, i.e. sports
shorts, T-shirts, tennis shoes, jeans. When at Anaheim Family YMCA facilities,
respectable attire that would be appropriate at school must be warn.

hate websites while attending the Youth Institute or using their computers or
Internet hookups.

hate websites while attending the Youth Institute or using their computers or
Internet hookups.
I understand that I will help with the Youth Institute Newsletter, “Get Connected
Fairs,” and other in house projects as needed.

Entiendo que el programa del Anaheim Family YMCA Youth Institute es de ocho semanas completas
desde el 13 de Junio - 5 de Agosto 2016.
Entiendo que más de dos ausencias injustificadas son causales de terminación del programa.
Entiendo que debo asistir a Wilderness Retreat y el laboratorio durante el verano.
Entiendo que los días y la hora de la programación de verano del Youth Institute es De lunes a
viernes, de 9:00 am a 4:00 pm.
Mis padres y yo estamos de acuerdo en cumplir con todas las reglas y regulaciones del YMCA Youth
Intitute.
Entiendo que se espera que yo use un lenguaje apropiado, no se me permite
fumar, masticar tabaco, poseer cualquier material de fumar, poseer bebidas alcohólicas o drogas
ilícitas mientras que un participante en el Youth Institute.
Entiendo que no podré traer radios, reproductores de MP3 (iPod), o juegos de video (PSP, DSi) a la
clase de Youth Institute, las excursiones, o para el retiro.
Entiendo que no puedo usar un teléfono celular durante el Youth Institute tiempo de clase o en
cualquier excursiones.
Entiendo que como participante, me anima a desarrollar amistades con
los miembros del sexo opuesto, pero no hay muestras de afecto (es decir, tomando alguien de la
mano, besos, relaciones como novio / novia, etc.) están permitidas durante el verano del Youth
Institute.
Entiendo que todas mis pertenencias personales mientras asistía al Youth Institute son de mi
exclusiva responsabilidad y que el YMCA no es responsable por los daños, robo
o el perdido de nuestras posesiones.
Entiendo que yo también puedo ser suspendido por pelearme, amenazar,
robar, o la falta de respeto a la autoridad de cualquier miembro del personal o ser perjudicial para
el entorno del Instituto de la Juventud de aprendizaje.
Entiendo que la posesión de armas o armas de fuego ilegales es motivo inmediato para una
expulsión.
Entiendo que puedo ser expulsado por no seguir de cualquier miembro del personal instrucciones
mientras en la clase Instituto de la Juventud o en Camp Fox.
Entiendo que hay un código de vestimenta. No se permite blusa con corte bajo, ni ropa con
logotipos sugerentes o despectivos. Ropa casual es permitido, es decir, los pantalones de deporte
cortos, camisetas, zapatos tenis, jeans. Cuando su hija o hijo este en las instalaciones del Anaheim
Family YMCA, el vestimiento debe ser apropriado igual que durante la escuela.
Entiendo que seré terminado inmediatamente si acceso a algún tipo de pajina web con un
contendio sexual o de odio, mientras asistía al Instituto de la Juventud o el uso de sus
computadoras o Conexiones de Internet.
Entiendo que voy a ayudar con el Youth Institute Newsletter, "Get Connected Ferias, "y otros en
proyectos de vivienda, según sea necesario.
