Cuando en STUA nos planteamos la creación de un nuevo mueble nos mueve la ilusión de aportar algo más. Los muebles son

Un clásico del diseño de los últimos
tiempos. La silla Egoa tiene una
comodidad extraordinaria, pues el
asiento y el respaldo están ingeniosamente articulados, por lo que el
respaldo se adapta a la posición de la
espalda, acompañando nuestro
movimiento e invitándonos a una
posición de sentado dinámica.
Disponible en diferentes maderas y
tapizada, tanto es su versión fija
como en la de ruedas.
It is essential to sit on the Egoa to
experience how wonderfully
comfortable it is. The seat and
backrest are ingeniously hinged and
the chair adapts to differing body
weights and sizes, inviting users to
adopt a dynamic sitting posture and
allowing free range of movement.

Globus es una silla ligera y acogedora.
Las curvas del respaldo recogen la
espalda proporcionando un confort
envolvente. Sus originales líneas
hacen que esta silla sea fresca y
ligera.
Su expresiva forma, casi voluptuosa
tanto en la estructura como en el
asiento y respaldo, están
engarzadas con suavidad, para
crear unas formas que se muestran
perfectamente acabadas desde
cualquier ángulo.
La silla se realiza en plàstico y en
diferentes maderas naturales y
acabado lacado en colores. Existe
la opción de que el asiento sea
tapizado. La silla es apilable.
Globus is a light stackable chair of
refreshingly original design. The
curvature of the seat and backrest

como un gas. En esta silla cada curva,
cada borde y cada unión están hechas
con una exquisita atención al detalle.
At Stua we have been dreaming about
the future and we envisage a chair with
fluid lines as light as gas. Every joint,
edge and curve is resolved with an
uncompromising attention to detail.
La estructura de la silla es de aluminio
pulido y luego cromada en brillo o
mate. El asiento y respaldo son en red,
polipropileno o tapizada
en tela o en piel.
The frame of the chair is made of
chrome polished aluminium, shiny or
matt. Seat and back in black mesh,
polypropelene or upholstered in fabric
or leather.

STUA presenta el taburete ONDA. Este revolucionario diseño ha
sido creado por el fundador de STUA Jesús Gasca.
ONDA
Las formas de ONDA están diseñadas basándose en las curvas del
cuerpo humano y su resonancia en las curvas de las ondas sinusoidales. Buscando que la forma del asiento se acople al final de la
espalda como lo haría un guante. Así el pequeño respaldo en
forma de onda aporta su personalidad y da un notable apoyo lumbar.

ONDA aporta una gran novedad tecnológica: el asiento del taburete tiene un “asiento” extra, de una goma más blanda, que logra
que el confort sea total.

Este “asiento” es más pequeña que la carcasa y dibuja el perfil del
perímetro, aportando un carácter gráfico. Esta “piel” se moldea
junto a la carcasa de taburete, de forma que el asiento exteriormente tiene dos materiales, dos densidades y dos colores que se
combinan. La estructura del taburete es de acero inoxidable.

STUA is delighted to present the ONDA stool. This visionary design
has been conceived by Jesús Gasca the founder of STUA.

The shapes of ONDA mimic the curves of the human body as well
as the curves of a wave. Like a glove, the seat moulds following
the contours of the sitter and provides lumbar support.

The seat is very innovative, it has an extra soft rubber “skin”
which gives superb comfort. The inner “skin” is slightly smaller
than the shell. Both shell and skin form an interesting colour and
textural contrast. The skin and the shell are moulded simultaneously so that the final product incorporates two different materials,
densities and colours. Overall a rich and elegant solution.
With a stainless steel frame ONDA is suitable for both indoor and
outdoor use.

Arquetipo de un minimalismo tranquilo, la mesa Deneb
celebra sus materiales en la forma más pura, combinando
una estructura sobria y austera con el sobre de vidrio.
La estructura de aluminio anodizado se ensambla a partir
de cuatro elementos realizados con una gran precisión
que se engarzan para abrazar el vidrio templado.
Las patas están diseñadas para aumentar la estabilidad
de la estructura y para permitir poner dos o más mesas
juntas, bien en un comedor o en un área de trabajo. La
personalidad de la mesa Deneb y la elegancia formal
que proyecta, permiten realizar la decoración de un
espacio a su alrededor.
El sobre es de vidrio templado de 10mm transparente o
acabado hielo seco. Existe tanto en la versión de mesa
alta como en la de mesa baja.
An archetype of cool minimalism, the Deneb table celebrates
materials in their purest form, combining an austere and
sober aluminium frame with a clean-edged glass top.
The anodised aluminium frame is assembled from four
elements precision-engineered to fit seamlessly together in
support of the tempered glass top. Its legs are configured

Basado en la mesa Deneb y con su misma
estructura, se presenta la colecciòn de exterior
Deneb. Se trata de una mesa y un banco a
juego con sobre de láminas de madera
maciza de Teka. El sistema puede usarse
tanto en el exterior como en el interior.
The Deneb outdoor system is derived from
the Deneb table. The system is comprised
of a table and matching bench. The same
type of base is used for both and they have
a solid Teak wooden top. The Deneb system
is suitable for indoor & outdoor use.

Mesa redonda o cuadrada, con una pata
central en aluminio y base de acero mate.
Un diseño sencillo con vocación de ser discreto y funcional.
El sobre es de vidrio transparente templado o
de mdf con chapa de haya, arce, roble,
wenge, cerezo, nogal o lacada de color blanco.
Zero is a round or square table of restrained
and elegant, but also functional design. The
stem is made of anodised aluminium and the
base of chromed steel. The top can be
produced in beech, maple, cherry, wenge,
oak, walnut or lacquered in white. The Zero
base is also available with transparent glass
top.

Acabada en haya natural, tono cerezo o
wenge. Tiene ruedas delanteras y su
anchura permite que pase por las puertas.
Simplicity and comfort characterise the
Malena armchair. The frame is made of
solid beech, with completely removable
seat and back covers, in fabric or leather.
Malena has aluminium legs with castors
at the front. The beech frame is also
available in cherry or wenge stained finish.

Versión sofá de la butaca Malena. La parte
trasera es especialmente bonita, gracias a la
singularidad de las lamas paralelas. Malena
está indicada para distribuciones del espacio
en las que se vea el respaldo, como cuando
se usa para separar dos zonas diferentes de
una estancia. La estructura es de haya
maciza.
Malena sofa comes from the Malena armchair.
Usually not the most beautiful part of a
sofa; in this case the back of Malena is the
most striking detail. It can be used in many
applications as a room divider, due to its
attractive appearance from front and back.
The frame is made of solid beech wood.

NUBE, MARCH 08

El diseño de la butaca NUBE combina la ortodoxia
plana y ortogonal de los espacios contemporáneos
con las curvas del cuerpo humano. La butaca NUBE
tiene un diseño exterior limitado por superficies
planas y paralelas, mientras que el espacio en el que
nos sentamos es curvo y acogedor, como un nido.
Toda la parte trasera curva de la butaca queda
vista, de forma que se ve la forma en la que nos
vamos a sentar y ya se puede presentir la comodidad
de las curvas antes de sentarse. El volumen queda
delimitado, por tanto, por las sobrias líneas rectas
de exterior, enriquecida por la gracia de las curvas
del interior. Este efecto queda resaltado por la
utilización de dos colores en cada butaca, un color
para las superficies planas y otro color combinado
para las superficies curvas.
La estructura es ligera, liviana, mínima; continúa la
coherencia de las formas exteriores sin dejarse
notar. Es de varilla de acero cromado. La butaca
NUBE tiene otra particularidad, y es que vista
desde arriba es cuadrada, de forma que en la
práctica varias butacas pueden combinarse girando
entre si. Es decir, que las butacas pueden unirse
formando líneas rectas, quebradas, cuadrados, o
formas de L.
La butaca NUBE es siempre tapizada y se puede
utilizar tanto en el hogar como en la instalación.

The design of the NUBE armchair comes from
the combination between the flat orthodoxy of
the contemporary spaces with the curves of the
human body. While the outside lines of NUBE
armchair are made of flat parallel surfaces, the
space where we can sit is curved and cosy, like
a nest.
Instead of a solid block, the design of NUBE
allows to see all the back part of the armchair.
So the shape with all the curves where we are
going to sit is visible. Looking at the armchair,
before seating, we can already expect a big
comfort from the armchair. The volume is then
delimited by the sober straight lines of the outside,
enriched by the grace of the inner curves. This
effect is enhanced by the use of two colours in
the upholstery of the armchair, one colour for
the flat surfaces and the other colour for the
curved surfaces.
The frame of the armchair is light, minimal and
continues the outer shapes remaining almost
unseen.The frame is made of solid chromed
steel. Another detail of the NUBE armchair is
that it has a square upper view. Different armchairs
can be combined turning between them. So the
armchairs can be linked making straight lines or
angles. NUBE can be used at home or at the
contract market. NUBE is always upholstered.

sobriedad transmite toda la belleza de
sus materiales. Laterales en diferentes
maderas o acabado color aluminio. Por
su modulación se puede adaptar para
infinidad de funciones. Existe la opción
de cajonera de mesa de trabajo para
carpetas colgantes.

The Atlas range of units are made of
anodised aluminium, with sides of
wood. Their function is clearly articulated both in the honest use of materials
and in their restrained and elegant
design. They can be adapted to a variety
of uses, including desk pedestal with
filing cabinet.
