Adverbios (2.1)
Adverbs tell when, where, how, how long,
or how much.
In English most adverbs end in –ly.
(quickly, normally, easily, etc.)
In Spanish adjectives can be changed to
adverbs by following 2 simple steps:
1. Put the adj. in the feminine form
2. Add -mente
*If the adj. has only one form, just add
–mente.
*If the adj. has an accent, the adverb will
also.
Ejemplos:
Rápido
1. Rápida (Adj.-quick/rapid)
2. Rápidamente (Adv.-quickly/rapidly)
Yo corro rápidamente.
Típico
1. Típica (Adj.-typical)
2. Típicamente (Adv.-typically)
Típicamente ella hace ejercicio todos los
días.
Fácil
1. Fácil (Adj.-easy)
2. Fácilmente (Adv.-easily)
Metimos el gol fácilmente.
Frecuente
1. Frecuente (Adj.-frequent)
2. Frecuentemente (Adv.-frequently)
Ellos compiten frecuentemente.
1. Corremos ___________ (lento).
2. No es saludable comer
_____________ (rápido).
3. ____________ ella hace la tarea.
(normal).
