Re:
Docket No. 27376; Application of CPL Retail Energy, LP, To Increase Price To Beat
Fuel Factors
Dear Judge Kilgore:
As a result of discussions with the Staff of the Public Utility Commission of Texas ("Staff") and
the discovery of a single erroneous data entry, CPL Retail Energy, LP is filing revised Exhibits JPK-1 and
JPK-2 to the prefiled direct testimony of J. Patrick Keene in the above referenced docket. The revisions
affect the: fifth and sixth decimal places of the proposed fuel factors filed on February 11, 2003. The
revision is necessary to correct the calculation of the natural gas prices that were used to calculate the
price to beat fuel factors that are currently in effect for CPL Retail Energy, LP
Also being filed today is an updated affidavit that should be substituted for the one initially filed
with Mr. Keene's direct testimony. Finally, CPL Retail Energy, LP is filing updated notices. These
notices are the ones that are being published in the relevant newspapers and incorporate suggestions from
the Staff.
By copy of this letter, a copy of all these documents is being sent by first class mail to all parties
of record in the case.
