INSTRUCTIONS
This lesson is a shorter version of one type of the lessons you can find at
www.unlimitedspanish.com. The lesson is developed through questions. This is very
powerful because over time it makes you think in Spanish instead of your mother
tongue. The questions are usually easy on purpose.
This is how it works. In the audio, I will do two things:
1. Give information (this is the first phrase). Listen to it carefully.
2. Ask questions about the point 1. Just after every question, there will be a few
seconds of silence. Try to give a quick answer in Spanish. The answer can be
short (yes/no, a name, etc.). After the moment of silence, I will provide a correct
answer.
The goal, after some practice, is to be able to answer quickly and automatically, like
natives do.
Helpful hints:






You can check the transcript if necessary.
You can pause the audio to answer if necessary.
Try to give short and easy answers, quickly. Answers consisting of just one or
a few words are fine. It is better to give a short and quick answer than a
complicated and hesitant one.
It is not important if you make mistakes. You will always hear the correct answer
after the question.
You can answer out loud or just think the answer, although it is more effective
if you say it out loud.
It is ok to just listen and not try to answer the questions if it seems too difficult
at first.
Sometimes the questions may seem very easy. They are designed on purpose in
order to build the foundations of your Spanish. The point is not only "knowing" it, but
"automating" it.
