OPERATION MANUAL

ROUTINE SERVICING :
The liquid may accidentally enter into the collet assembly and choke the filter. In this event, unscrew the
collet assembly from the body and change the filter. Replace collet assembly and start working normally.
WARNING :
During charging ensure that the battery charger is set on proper voltage as per the line voltage.
Battery should not be allowed to discharge completely.
Pipette should be firmly fixed to avoid accidental fall during operation.
Care should be taken during aspiration to avoid liquid entering into the collet assembly.
Fuming liquids and solvents should be avoided as dripping will occur and the fumes might damage the
inside components of the instrument.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT :
LaboFill is a Scientific Laboratory equipment used for filling and dispensing liquid in graduated and onemark pipettes from 0.1ml to 100ml. It is a pump operated instrument and offers a safe, efficient and easy
alternative for mouth and finger tip pipetting.
PRODUCT FEATURES :
Suitable for Pipettes of 0.1ml to 100ml size.
0.2um PTFE hydrophobic filter is provided in the collet assembly to avoid liquid entering the
instrument body.
Inside collet knurlings facilitate tight fit even with wet pipettes.
High aspirating and flow-out speed.
Single finger control for the Flow-out and blow-out functions.
Cordless work for up to eight hours, continuing directly after recharging.
Autoclavable pipette adapters and filter holders.
Charging status and battery status is indicated on the body by red and green L.E.Ds.
OPERATION :
FILLING AND DISPENSING : Insert the pipette (Glass or Plastic) into the collet. The
inside knurlings allows a tight fit. Press the upward plunger to aspirate liquid into the
Pipette and downward plunger for dispensing. The upward and downward mark next to the
plunger allows easy identification.
SPEED CONTROL : Thumb wheel is provided at the back of the instrument which can be
easily identified. Clockwise motion increases the pump speed and anti-clockwise motion
reduces the pump speed. User can adjust the speed according to his or her convenience.
AUTOCLAVING : Collet assembly is fully autoclavable. It contains a 0.2um hydrophobic
fiter which is also autoclavable at 120 C and 15psi pressure. For autoclaving unscrew the
collet assembly for direct autoclaving.
Note : Only Collet assembly is Autoclavable and NOT the full instrument.
BATTERY STATUS AND CHARGING STATUS : Low battery charge is indicated when the
red L.E.D is continuously illuminated. Green L.E.D. will be continuously illuminated at the
time of charging.

ENTRETIEN DE ROUTINE :
Le liquide peut accidentellement pénétrer à l’intérieur de l’embout et obstruer le filtre. Le eas échéant, dévissez l'embout, retirez-le du corps
du pipeteur puis changez le filtre. Remettez l’embout pour recommencer à travailler normalement.

AVERTISSEMENT
Durant la recharge, assurez-vous que le chargeur soit réglé pour une tension correspondant à la tension de ligne.
L’utilisateur ne devrait pas laisser la batterie s’épuiser complètement.
La pipette devrait être solidement fixée pour éviter toute chute accidentelle lors de l’utilisation.
Il faut être attentif lors de l’aspiration pour éviter toute pénétration de liquide dans l’embout.
Les liquides fumants et les solvants devraient être évités dans la mesure où ils provoqueront des écoulements

REMPLISSAGE ET DISTRIBUTION : Insérez la pipette (verre ou plastique) dans l’embout. Les moletages
internes assurent une bonne fixation. Appuyez sur le piston du haut pour aspirer du liquide dans
la pipette et sur le piston du bas pour en distribuer. Les repères haut et bas situés à côté des
pistons permettent une distinction facile de ces derniers.

WARTUNGSPLAN:

WARNHINWEISE

ANWENDUNG
FÜLLUNG UND ABGABE Legen Sie die Pipette (Glas oder Kunststoff) in die

MANUTENZIONE ORDINARIA

AVVERTENZE

FUNZIONAMENTO

Le zigrinature interne garantiscono una presa sicura della pipetta. Premere il pulsante
superiore per aspirare il liquido nella pipetta e il pulsante inferiore per rilasciarlo. La freccia in
alto e la freccia in basso consentono una facile identificazione del pulsante corrispondente.
CONTROLLO DELLA VELOCITÀ: nella parte posteriore dello strumento si trova un selettore
a ruota, facilmente identificabile. L’operatore può regolare la velocità secondo le propri
esigenze spostando il selettore in senso orario (aumento) o antiorario (riduzione).
AUTOCLAVAGGIO : il cono portapipetta è interamente autoclavabile. Al suo interno si trova
un filtro idrofobico da 0,2 um, anch’esso autoclavabile a 120 °C e a 151 psi di pressione.
Per l’autoclavaggio, svitare il cono.
Nota bene: il cono l’UNICA componente autoclavabile dello strumento.
STATO DI CARICA DELLA BATTERIA: la batteria in esaurimento è indicata dall’accensione
fissa della spia LED di colore rosso. Quando èin corso la carica della batteria, si accende la

REVISIONES RUTINARIAS :
El líquido puede entrar accidentalmente en el conjunto de la pinza y estrangular el filtro. En tal caso,
desatornille el conjunto de la pinza del cuerpo y cambie el filtro. Sustituya el conjunto de la pinza y ponga el
instrumento en marcha normalmente.
ADVERTENCIAS:
Durante la carga, el cargador de la batería debe tener ajustado el voltaje adecuado de la red eléctrica.
No se debe permitir que la batería se descargue completamente.
La pipeta se debe fijar firmemente para evitar caídas accidentales durante el uso.
Debe tenerse cuidado durante la aspiración para que no entre líquido en el conjunto de la pinza.

LLENADO Y DOSIFICACIÓN: Inserte la pipeta (cristal o plástico) en la pinza. El
bruñido interior permite su perfecta fijación. Presione el gatillo de arriba para aspirar líquidos
en la pipeta y el gatillo de abajo para dosificarlo. Las flechas arriba y abajo junto a los gatillos
facilitan la identificación de estos.
CONTROL DE VELOCIDAD: En la parte posterior del instrumento hay una ruedecilla que se
puede identificar fácilmente. Gírela hacia la derecha para aumentar la velocidad de la bomba y,
hacia la izquierda para reducirla. El usuario puede ajustar la velocidad como desee.
ESTERILIZABLE EN AUTOCLAVE: El conjunto de la pinza se puede esterilizar en
autoclave. Contiene un filtro que se puede esterilizar en autoclave a 120 ºC y una presión de
15 psi. Para una esterilización directa en autocclave, desatornille el conjunto de la pinza.
Nota: Solo el conjunto de lapinza se puede esterilizar en autoclave NO todo el instrumento.
ESTADO DE LA BATERÍA Y DE CARGA: Cuando el nivel de la batería es bajo, el indicador
LED rojo se enciende de forma continua. Durante la carga, se enciende de manera continua
el indicador LED verde.
