Loving Difficult People

1. Pray for your own heart_____
Ask God to soften your heart toward this person, to put off anger and
irritability, to put on meekness and kindness, to understand this person’s
struggles and meet them with compassion. (Colossians 3:12-14)
2. Pray____ for them_____
Ask God to be at work in their hearts, drawing unbelievers to himself and
sanctifying believers to become more like Jesus (Philippians 1:9-11)
3. Move toward_____ them, not away_____ from them
Although our tendency is to want to steer clear of people with whom we
have strained relationships, they are exactly the people we need to be
intentionally moving toward. Find ways to engage them in conversation,
meet them for coffee, send them a text.
4. Find specific ways to bless____ & encourage_____ them
Write them a note of appreciation. Buy them a book that has been an
encouragement to you. Tell them you are praying for them.
5. Give them grace_____, just as God extends grace
to you___
Remember God’s lavish grace poured out for your own daily sins. Ask
God to help you bear with them, forgiving them as He has forgiven you.
6. Remember, you____ could be the difficult_____ person
in someone else’s life!
Why?
Because without love nothing______ else matters!

Amando a Personas Difíciles

Pídale a Dios que suavice su corazón hacia la persona, que aparte la ira
y la irritabilidad, que lo llene de mansedumbre y bondad para entender
al individuo y tener compasión por él. (Colosenses 3:12-14)
2. Ore____ por ellos____
Pídale a Dios que obre en sus corazones, atrayendo a incrédulos a sí
mismo y santificando a creyente para ser como Jesús (Filipenses 1:9-11)
3. Acérquese_______ a ellos, no se aparte_____
Aunque nuestra tendencia es querer evitar a personas con quien
tenemos dificultades, esas son las relaciones hacia quien necesitamos
acercarnos, a propósito. Busque maneras de entablar conversaciones
con ellos, tomen un café juntos, envíeles un mensaje por texto.
4. Busque maneras específicas para bendecir____ y animarles___
Escríbales una nota de apreciación. Cómpreles un libro que le ha
animado a usted. Dígales que está orando por ellos.
5. Extiéndales gracia____, al igual que Dios le extiende Su gracia
a usted____
Acuérdese de la abundante gracia que Dios le extiende por sus pecados
a diario. Pídale a Dios que le ayude a cargar con ellos y perdonarlos
como Él le ha perdonado a usted.
6. Recuerde, puede ser que usted____ sea la persona difícil___
en la vida de otra persona
¿Por Qué?
¡Porque sin amor nada___ más importa!
