Forgive
Jesus asks us to forgive others in the way
that we have received forgiveness from
God. Forgiveness doesn't always have to
happen all at once; If the wound is deep
we must pray for the grace to forgive, to
allow God's mercy to heal us, and release
the resentment of the past and live in the
presence of his Grace. When we forgive,
we release the poison of resentment that
builds up inside us. Forgiveness is an act
of mercy for ourselves as well as for
those who have hurt us.
