A marketing survey is being conducted by the University Of Dallas
Graduate School Of Management on behalf of The Catholic Foundation
to help determine the community’s awareness of The Catholic
Foundation and its mission. All answers are anonymous and will be
combined with other responses. The survey may be found at The
Catholic Foundation website at www.catholicfoundation.com or you
may go to http://bit.ly/TCFsurvey4. Thank you for contributing to this
important project. If you have any questions please call us at
972-661-9792.
CATECHISTS/CATECHIST AIDES are
needed to teach our children and youth
our Faith for the upcoming school year.
Our parish is growing by leaps and
bounds. This means we are gifted with new families
registering weekly, and many of these families include
school-aged children. This further means that our
Faith Formation numbers and needs are also growing.
You can sign up as a catechist, catechist aide,
substitute, hall monitor, office helper, or translator.
Please pray and ask the Holy Spirit what role He has
for you in St. Anthony’s Faith Formation Program the
upcoming 2012-2013 school year. In compliance with
the Diocese of Dallas Safe Environment Policy, all
volunteers must complete the diocesan screening
process prior to serving as a volunteer with parish
children and youth. If you taught last year, and wish
to return, but haven’t yet notified us, please give us a
call. If you feel called to this ministry, but have
questions; please contact Lucy Cavazos for Children
Ministry, KN – 6th grade @ (972) 442-2765 x 226 or
Chelsea Mechler for youth Ministry, 7th – 12th grade @
972-442-2765 x 257. We welcome the opportunity to
visit with you about serving your parish community as
a volunteer in the ministry of Faith Formation.

Next week our parish will take up the Collection for the Solidarity
Fund for the Church in Africa. While those in the region remain
inspired by the faith, they face the challenges of high rates of poverty
and unemployment, illiteracy, and poor education. The Solidarity Fund
supports essential pastoral projects all over the continent that help
educate and provide a solid faith foundation. The Church in Africa
needs you. Please give generously in next week’s Solidarity Fund
appeal.
Solidaridad.
