Protos es un amplio programa de sofás pensado
para solucionar cualquier necesidad planteada en
el amueblamiento de espacios públicos y privados.
Partiendo de tres dimensiones de modularidad (70-90120) y dos anchos de brazo (14-28) Protos permite “jugar”
y encontrar un sofá personalizado para cada necesidad.
Protos sintetiza la imagen del sofá tradicional y elimina
elementos superfluos. Para ello unifica los elementos
estructurales de asiento (bancadas) con los cojines,
obteniendo “monobloques de asiento” que permiten
construir el sofá con tres piezas: brazos, respaldo y
“monobloques de asiento”. Con esta pieza, Perobell
desea potenciar la sensación de confort, trabajando para
ello con tres elementos: Primero la dimensión: aumento
de la profundidad del asiento (la gente se tumba en los
sofás en lugar de sentarse). Segundo, aunque el sofá
esté construido por piezas cuadrangulares, éstas tienen
una imagen “soft” con aspecto acolchado. Por último la
posibilidad de jugar con cuatro tamaños de cojines para
el respaldo que permiten al usuario encontrar el grado de
confort deseado. Todo ello hace que Protos sea un sofá
con una imagen muy limpia y con nivel muy alto de confort.
Constructivamente Protos también presenta novedades.
Actualmente los sofás son dimensionalmente más grandes
que años atrás, ello genera en ocasiones problemas de
trasporte e instalación. Protos soluciona este problema,
ya que, todos sus elementos son independientes (brazos,
respaldo y monobloque de asiento) y van unidos entre si.
Por tanto, en caso necesario, se puede desmontar y volver
a montarlo en su ubicación final. Como es habitual en los
sofás fabricados por Perobell, Protos incorpora solamente
materiales de primera calidad en sus acabados.

Protos is a large program of sofas thought out to solve
any need arising in the furnishing of public and private
spaces. Starting from three module dimensions (70-90120) and two arm widths (14-28) Protos allows “playing”
and finding a personalized sofa for every need Protos
synthesizes the image of the traditional sofa and gets
rid of superfluous elements. To achieve it, it unites the
structural seat elements (benches) with the cushions,
thus obtaining “single seating-blocks” allowing to
build the sofa using three components: arms, back
and “single seating-blocks”. With this piece, Perobell
intends to boost the feeling of comfort, working with
three different elements. First, the dimensions,
enlarging the seating depth (people use to lay down on
the sofa instead of sitting). Second: although the sofa is
made up by quadrangular pieces, they have a soft image
with a padded look. And finally, the chance to play with
four cushion sizes for the back allowing the user to find
the desired level of comfort. All of it makes Protos a sofa
with a very clean image and a very high level of comfort.
Protos has also constructive novelties. Nowadays, sofas
have larger dimensions than years before, generating
transport and set up problems. Protos solves this
problem, because all of its elements are independent
from each other (arms, back and single seating-block)
and then linked together. Consequently, should it be
necessary, the sofa can be taken apart for transport and
mounted again in its final position. As usual in all sofas
made by Perobell, Protos only includes high quality
materials in its finishes.
