MISAS EN ESPAÑOL:
Estamos por iniciar el tiempo de
cuaresma este año y es una buena
oportunidad para recordar el
sentido de este tiempo.
 Cada Domingo

La misericordia de Dios transforma el corazón del hombre
haciéndole experimentar un amor
fiel, y lo hace a su vez capaz de
misericordia. Es siempre un milagro el que la misericordia divina
se irradie en la vida de cada uno
de nosotros, impulsándonos a
amar al prójimo. Nuestra fe se
traduce en gestos concretos y
cotidianos, destinados a ayudar a
nuestro prójimo en el cuerpo y en
el espíritu, y sobre los que seremos juzgados: nutrirlo, visitarlo,
consolarlo y educarlo.
Ante este amor fuerte como la
muerte (cf. Ct 8,6), el pobre más
miserable es quien no acepta
reconocerse como tal. Cree que
es rico, pero en realidad es el más
pobre de los pobres. Esto es así
porque es esclavo del pecado,
que lo empuja a utilizar la riqueza y el poder no para servir a
Dios y a los demás, sino parar
sofocar dentro de sí la íntima
convicción de que tampoco él es
más que un pobre mendigo. Y
cuanto mayor es el poder y la
riqueza a su disposición, tanto
mayor puede llegar a ser este
engañoso ofuscamiento. Hoy nos

encontramos tantas ideologías
que pretenden hacer que Dios sea
irrelevante y que el hombre se
reduzca a una masa para utilizar.
Y actualmente también pueden
mostrarlo las estructuras de pecado vinculadas a un modelo falso
de desarrollo, basado en la idolatría del dinero, como consecuencia del cual las personas y
las sociedades más ricas se vuelven indiferentes al destino de los
pobres, a quienes cierran sus
puertas, negándose incluso a
mirarlos.
La Cuaresma es para todos un
tiempo favorable para salir por
fin de nuestra alienación existencial gracias a la escucha de la
Palabra y a las obras a favor de
nuestros hermanos y hermanas.
Esta escucha activa nos preparará
del mejor modo posible para
celebrar la victoria definitiva
sobre el pecado y sobre la muerte
del Esposo ya resucitado, que
desea purificar a su Esposa prometida, a la espera de su venida.
No perdamos este tiempo de
Cuaresma favorable para la conversión. Lo pedimos por la intercesión materna de la Virgen María, que fue la primera que, frente
a la grandeza de la misericordia
divina que recibió gratuitamente,
confesó su propia pequeñez,
reconociéndose como la humilde
esclava del Señor.

que busquen una comunidad donde vivir la fe. Es nuestra responsabilidad compartir la gracia que hemos recibido de Dios por lo que TODOS Y TODAS son bienvenidos.
