RELIGIOUS EDUCATION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
POLICIES: Children are to be dropped off no sooner than 15 minutes prior
to class. Class begins at 9:50 am on Sundays. Students should be picked up
at 10:45 in their classrooms. Youth Group is 6:00- 7:30 pm on Sundays in
the Youth Room. All children should wait inside or under the shelter until
their parent arrives.
ATTENDANCE: Each child is encouraged to attend class weekly.
Children involved in sacramental preparation classes are allowed 4 absences
per year only. Attendance awards will be given at the end of the school year.
Students must be present to received their award.
WEATHER CONDITIONS: If Limestone County is under a tornado
warning or watch there will be NO CLASS. Please watch your local
weather. If there is ice or dangerous roadways, there will be NO CLASS.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION GUIDELINES: Children are required to
have completed one year of classes prior to starting in the preparation for
First Holy Communion. If they haven’t been attending classes before, they
will be put in their regular grade class for one school year, then the next year
they will be in a special class for First Holy Communion preparation. We
highly encourage your child to participate in the entire program through
grades K-12!
CLASSROOM & BEHAVIORAL GUIDELINES: All children are to be
respectful in the Church and classroom. They should be respectful to the
teacher as well as the other students. Children should keep their hands to
themselves at all times. If the teacher has a problem they cannot control, the
DRE will be asked to speak with the child. If the child continues to
misbehave, then the parents will be called for a meeting.

REGLAS Y PROCEDIMEIENTOS DE LA EDUCACION
RELIGIOSA
REGLAS: Los ninos deben ser traidos a tiempo; pero no 15 minutos antes de la clase. La
clase empieza a las 9:50 am los domingos. Los estudiantes en los grados K-3 se
encuentran en la iglesia, los estudiantes en los grados 4-9 ir directamente a sus aulas. Los
estudiantes deben ser recogidos en su sala de clase a las 10:45 am. El Grupo juvenil es de
6:30 a 8:00 pm los Miercoles en el Salon.
ASSISTENCIA: Se le pide a cada nino que venga a todas las clases semanales. Los
ninos que van a recibir los sacramentos solo se les permite tener 4 faltas a la clase por
todo el ano. A fin de ano, se daran premios a los ninos que nunca hayan faltado a las
clases durante el ano.
CONDICIONES ATMOSFERICAS: Si el condado de Limestone esta bajo advertencia
de tornado NO HABRA CLASE. Mantengase al cuidado de su tiempo local. Si hay hielo
o caminos peligrosos, NO HABRA CLASE. Si no hay clases in la escuela regular o si la
escuela dejo salir a los estudiantes temprano por las condiciones del tiempo, NO HABRA
CLASE.
GUIA PARA RECIBIR LA PRIMERA COMUNIÓN: Se requiere que los niños
hayan terminado un año de clases de religión antes de comenzar en la preparación para la
Primera Comunión. Si los niños no han estado atendiendo clases antes, se les pondrá en
la clase del mismo grado que van en la escuela por un año, después el próximo año
estarán en una clase especial para la preparación de la Primera Comunión. ¡Le animamos
a que traiga a sus niños para que participen en todo el programa de Educación Religiosa,
desde Kinder hasta el Grado 12!
GUIAS DE COMPORTAMIENTO: Todos los ninos deberan ser respectuosos en la
iglesia y salon de clase. Deben ser respetuosos con el maestro asi como con los otros
estudiantes. Los ninos deben guarder sus manos a si mismos siempre, no tocan a otros.
Si el maestro tiene un problema que no pueden controlar, le pedira el Director de
Programa que hable con el nino. Si el nino continua comportarse mal, lo siguiente sera
pedir una reunion con los padres.
