CONSTRUCTION NOTICE
Mid Corridor/Segment B:
Closures of Crenshaw Blvd at Exposition Blvd
Attention Residents and Business Owners
As part of construction of the Expo Line project, work crews will temporarily close Crenshaw Boulevard at the
intersection with Exposition Boulevard, along the Exposition right-of-way, for reconstruction and paving.
The work is being managed and performed by the design-build contractor FCI/Fluor/Parsons (FFP, a Joint
Venture) and its subcontractors.
What:
Temporary intersection closures for street reconstruction, including excavation, repaving and
restriping.
When/Where: The intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard at Exposition Boulevard will be closed to through traffic
on the following dates—
• 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 8 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010
• 5:00 a.m. Monday, December 13 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2010

Advisories:

Northbound traffic on Crenshaw Boulevard will be detoured to eastbound Rodeo Road, to
northbound 7th Avenue, to westbound Jefferson Boulevard and back to northbound
Crenshaw Boulevard.
Southbound traffic on Crenshaw Boulevard will be detoured to westbound Jefferson
Boulevard, to southbound Buckingham Road, to eastbound on Rodeo Road and back to
southbound Crenshaw Boulevard.
Westbound traffic on Exposition Boulevard will be detoured to northbound Arlington Avenue,
to westbound Jefferson Boulevard, to southbound Buckingham Road and back to westbound
Exposition Boulevard.
Eastbound traffic on Exposition Boulevard will be detoured to southbound Buckingham
Boulevard, to eastbound Rodeo Road, to northbound 7th Avenue and back to eastbound
Exposition Boulevard.
Westbound and eastbound traffic will be encouraged to use Jefferson Boulevard or Rodeo
Road as alternate routes to Exposition Boulevard.
Local access will be maintained by use of flaggers for residences and businesses.
Electronic message boards and other directional signage will be used to safely direct
drivers around the construction zones in order to minimize the disruption to traffic.
Parking restrictions in all construction areas will be strictly enforced at all times. Please do not
enter the construction work zone and obey all posted construction signs.

weather conditions, unforeseen emergencies and other acts of nature.)

Cierre de Crenshaw Blvd en Exposition Blvd
Atención Residentes y Comerciantes
Como parte de la construcción del proyecto Línea Expo, los obreros mantendrán temporalmente cerrado
Crenshaw Boulevard donde cruzan con Exposition Boulevard, a lo largo del derecho-de-paso Exposition,
para la reconstrucción e instalación del pavimento. El contratista FCI/Fluor/Parsons (FFP, una empresa
conjunta) mantendrá y realizará esta obra junto con sus subcontratistas.
Que:
Cierre temporal del cruce para la reconstrucción de la calle lo cual incluirá excavación, instalación del
pavimento y redefinición.
Cuando/Donde: El cruce se mantendrá cerrado al tránsito en las siguientes fechas—
• 5:00 a.m. miércoles, 8 de diciembre hasta 9:00 p.m. sábado, 11 de diciembre de 2010
• 5:00 a.m. lunes, 13 de diciembre hasta 9:00 p.m. sábado, 18 de diciembre de 2010
Impactos al Tráfico:
• El tránsito viajando hacia el norte en Crenshaw Blvd será desviado en Rodeo Rd hacia el este,
7th Ave hacia el norte, Jefferson Blvd hacia el oeste y de regreso hacia el norte en Crenshaw Blvd.
• El tránsito viajando hacia el sur en Crenshaw Blvd será desviado en Jefferson Blvd hacia el
oeste, Buckingham Rd hacia el sur, Rodeo Rd hacia el este y de regreso hacia el sur en Crenshaw
Blvd.
• El tránsito viajando hacia el oeste en Exposition Blvd será desviado en Arlington Rd hacia el
norte, Jefferson Blvd hacia el oeste, Buckingham Rd hacia el sur y de regreso hacia el oeste en
Exposition Blvd.
• El tránsito viajando hacia el este en Exposition Blvd será desviado en Buckingham Rd hacia el
sur, Rodeo Rd hacia el este, 7th Ave hacia el norte y de regreso hacia el este en Exposition Blvd.
• Al tránsito viajando hacia el este u oeste se le recomendará el uso de Jefferson Boulevard o
Rodeo Road como ruta alterna a Exposition Boulevard.
• Se mantendrá el acceso local mediante controladores de tráfico para los residentes y comercios.
• Se utilizará señalización direccional y controladores de tráfico para desviar el tránsito con
prudencia y reducir la interrupción.
Avisos: Se aplicarán restricciones estrictas en cuanto al estacionamiento en las zonas de construcción en todo
momento. Por favor no entre a la zona de construcción y obedezca todos los carteles fijados.
